  1. Personally, I haven't had a crash with it period. Well, unless I purposely push it too far like loading 50+ NPCs via the console. I use SkyUI and haven't had an issue.
  2. I'm fairly sure many of the people having problems with Safety load are also using other SKSE plugins that may be conflicting.
  3. Since it's so soon after Skyrim, little hope of an engine change. We shall see though.
  4. Ok, thank you Neovalen. I must have done something incorrectly then. The cleaned ESMs were put in the .../Skyrim/Data folder (not in the overwrite folder) and the original backups were put in the .../overwrite/TES5Edit Backups folder. Â I had to move the cleaned ESMs from the .../Skyrim/Data folder into the .../overwrite folder (for later processing with the "Create Mod" option) prior to moving the original backups from the .../overwrite/TES5Edit Backups folder into the .../Skyrim/Data folder. I assumed it was my fault, I'll try to determine what I did wrong. Â Sorry for the trouble. Thanks again. It has actually happened that way before for some people in rare cases. In my experience most are like mine though where it is properly moved.
  5. The action of cleaning the ESMs will move the cleaned versions into the overwrite folder and the originals to the TES5Edit Backup folder also in overwrite. Your Skyrim/Data directory should be devoid of any of the base esm at this point. Therefore moving them back from TES5Edit Backup to the Skyrim/Data folder then renaming to remove the date stamp should not overwrite anything.
  6. The new smaller 1.2 version should be used.
  7. I will say that using ENBoost + Safety Load I have seen my VRAM get up to !3.5GB! which is a level I've never seen before in any other config. I have yet to have a problem with ctd or anything however.
  8. I haven't had time to look at the alternatives tbh. Reason it was taken out is so SMIM rocks take precedence. If you are looking for some asap I would look at AOF Detailed Mountains (upon which Rocking Stones was based) or the current STEP.until the author has updated.
  9. Grab the latest. Latest SR:LE has the 4.0.2 version listed.
  10. The target area is only two centimeters wide, it's a small thermal exhaust port. The shaft leads directly to the reactor system. A precise hit will start a chain reaction which should destroy the target. Only a precise hit will set off a chain reaction. The shaft is tail-shielded, so you'll have to use a sharp bladed weapon. I can't believe I just thought that. *hangs head in shame*
  11. I think a lot of the "script overload" people talk about is actually the game trying to load AI, blood, decals, effects, etc at the same time. In which case it WOULD be fixed by a load stabilizer. Just theory craft ofc... latency is another matter entirely and that can be detected by the convenient horses script tester.
  12. Endorsed, voted for mod of the month, etc. So far it has eaten all I could throw and it and keeps on going. No ILS issues, let us hope it continues.
  13. Fixed and Fixed. Thanks for reporting it! If you find anything else odd, please point it out.
  14. I did some quick and dirty testing... threw all the freeze in combat and script heavy mods and not a single freeze/ils... very promising. Needs more testing.
  15. The compression your talking about is BSA compression. The settings under the apply menu should both be unchecked which disables texture compression.
  16. I removed the note. Was only needed until added to master list.
  17. It's 188b now but yes the updated LODs are included.
  18. Sadly... I must say I am disappointed. Originally there were going to be actual voice actors doing the readings, this turned out to be a text-to-speech interpreter version. Very sad indeed. Perhaps one day if voice packs are uploaded it may be usable.
  19. Does "Smart Souls" work for the Soul Tear shout? I think this was one of the items that caused us to choose ASG over Smart Souls in the first place.
  20. I cannot recommend this one enough, love this preset.
  21. Another update. 331.65 - Bad 331.58 - Bad 331.40 - OK At least for SLI mode - doing OK without SLI on all versions. I have posted over on the geforce forums, looks like many games are affected.
  22. Ouch! By comparison SLI issues are minor as they only affect water and can be mostly covered up by mods.
  23. I talked to the author, he suggested (and I agreed) to use updated SMIM meshes until his update in the November time frame as they look better. In his words: SMIM > Parallax. That being said, I may put back in the textures folder only (or some other mountain textures) until that time.
  24. ENB is and always has been a personal choice... period. :)
