  1. Simple reason... unaware the 1.1.2 fix didn't end up working. :) I don't usually go back to mod pages unless there has been a file update and it pops up on Nexus tracker. Will fix tonight.
  2. You would have to ask the mod author in his comment thread.
  3. Version 1.1 of AOS now available in Files section. UPDATE 1.1 -Cleaned obsolete records from esp. using Tes5Edit. -Slightly reduced reverb send of Dialog for more clarity -Slightly reduced reverb amplitude in large and medium wooden interior spaces. -Slightly reduced exterior reverb -Several small amplitude tweaks for various ambiences, and bow shots. Compatibility patch for Climates of Tamriel now available in Files section. Note that this makes AOS work with the weathers and lighting of CoT. It is not a compatibility patch for the Audio add-on of CoT.
  4. Didn't seem that bad tbh, his 1.1 version will be out soon which will not conflict with CoT any more. Most of the other conflicts are very minor and can easily be rectified with TES5Edit.
  5. Discussion thread: Audio Overhaul for Skyrim by David Jegutidse Wiki Link AOS is an extensive sound overhaul aiming to make the soundscape more immersive, clear, responsive, impactful and ultimately fun, while always aiming for maximum compatibility, performance and coherency with the main game. Audio has been tweaked and often redesigned from scratch in thousands of instances of content and implementation, to achieve one coherent vision for the soundscape that does not rely on third party content or code. The overall style and tone moves away from a "gamey" soundscape and instead uses more real life audio behavior as a guideline. Another goal was to really make sure that this mod does not give it self away as a mod. Through subtlety and coherence, new and old content should meld together seamlessly, even if that means that the majority of changes will not be consciously noticed. No content has been stolen from other games. New content is unique to this project and there is nothing that was just copied straight out of a sound library. ------------------------------ This mod is definitely one to watch! I've only played with it a little bit in game but what I have heard is awesome! :)Accepted for 2.2.8
  6. Convenient horses... attempt reinstall.
  7. My opinion is there is plenty of blame to go around on both sides (and plenty of batshit crazies - have you seen the pro-abortion crowd?). The problem, in general, is we have a 2-party system. Both of our two parties should be broken up into smaller ones and power ACTUALLY shared between the various groups. Right now both sides play the "my way or the highway" style politics which leaves the opposition with the only recourse of shutdown, fillibuster, etc. and nothing gets accomplished. Last election had a 5% split, that means no-one has license to be a dictatorship. Everyone says we are the majority of the house/senate and now we have to measure our genitals and get nothing accomplished! I'm a fiscal conservative, the fact that we haven't passed a budget is 5 years is APPALLING to me. The fact that no-one on the Dem side seems to care is even worse. While I would agree a shutdown is not optimal, if it gets both sides to the table to work on a compromise (eventually) that is a good thing in my opinion. My opinion on the ACA/Obamacare thus far has been very negative. I have friends who have been cut down to part time work, others health plans are going to be dropped once the employer mandate kicks in. Personally, my premiums have gone up (in california here) a fairly large chunk since it was passed after a long period of stability. In it's present form it's not sustainable for the long haul and there is a better way to be had. The problem with the ACA is that there was no compromise, no debate, and half the people voting on the bill didn't read it before passing it. It was rammed through on a complete party line vote (and even then sweeteners had to be added to get some people to go along). That, right there, more than anything it can possibly say shows that it is a bad bill. The solution is simple, find common ground and work together. Stop the name calling, negativity, etc.
  8. DA:I is my most anticipated game. :)
  9. Got my copy downloading now! :) No purchase required. Now available via origin client for 64-bit machines only. Can't wait to get on the battlefield. Figured I'd share in case someone hadn't heard yet. :)
  10. I've got the forts mod in my testbed... I have mixed feelings about it. The stair textures and pillar textures in particular.
  11. My vision insurance tripled in price so I dropped it. My dental went up by 16$/mo. My health went up 28$/mo. Not very happy, negated my yearly increase. Rates had been basically steady before this year. Damned politicians.
  12. Yea verily removing the nif does in fact "fix" it. :) File removal and reason is listed in the guide now. The only real fix is when the author fixes it.
  13. I've not seen either of those but I will keep an eye out.
  14. I thought you were recommending the Basic version in SR Legondary Neovalen. Why the switch? The only reason I ended up switching from Full(Original SR) to Basic (Current LE) was mostly shadow issues on the new trees. I actually like the added diversity quite a lot.
  15. Funny enough for the last 2 days I've been trying out 182b and pretty happy with the custom trees. I used to have a lot of odd shadows with them but it seems to have resolved itself. (Via ENB or Vurt not sure)
  16. The OBIS corrections are NOT in error. It is what you would call an indirect conflict. The problem is that the Falskaar bandits that can be spawned in Skyrim by OBIS are NOT friendly to the player when doing a bandit start. The player becomes part of the ARTHLALBanditVampireFaction when selecting that start. Therefore it needs to be added. In TES5Edit you basically right click faction list, select add, the copy the ARTHLALBanditVampireFaction ref(which can be found in other faction lists) into the new entry marked as relation friend to correct this. As for the guide itself, going to begin working SR:LE again this week some more besides just version updates.
  17. Wondering what people's thoughts are about the new 182b version? Still deciding if I like the new tundra plants or not... it's different I'll give it that.
  18. It's definitely project parallax, trying to narrow down the specific file now. Edit: Problem appears localised to the ELFX patch. Issue does not occur without the ELFX patch active. Checking further. Edit2: Problem mesh is: meshes/architecture/markarth/mrktemplecrag01.nif - remove it - problem solved. I will update the SR:LE guide, thanks for the report guys.
  19. Realistic Water Two :) Winner no doubt.
  20. HDET should still be there for the map snow no? I figure the noise would just get overwritten by EDT.
  21. Sometimes. Depends on # of NPCs in the area. All papyrus log entries are benign (not problems). It comes down to how the game loads NPCs from the save.
  22. If the consensus is SLFH, then may as well make it Core to avoid added hassle. It arguably meets all Core requirements ;) +1
  23. Maybe late tonight when I get some time I'll take a look at your changes vs my changes and post something.
