  1. To me, this is a shoe-in to replace XP32 Maximum Skeleton. More functionality, and for STEP purposes it acts the same. Brings us more in line with the times. ;-) +1 for Core.
  2. I've used this mod for a while, and I really do enjoy it. This should be in Extended, IMO.
  3. Your points above make sense, guys. However, I think it is worth noting that the Parthurnaax Dilemma has not been updated since. To me, this is the best Parthurnaax mod out there. I use it in my game, and I quite enjoy it. But I do completely understand if the warning from the author dissuades STEP from including it.
  4. I think we should revisit this mod. I have been using it, and I think it looks great. One thing in particular I like is the fact that it covers ALL Falmer, whereas BoS does not.
  5. I think the "Requirements Only" version is a shoe-in for STEP Core. I've only played with this one a little bit (I haven't been that focused on the Companions), but it falls right in line with Thieves Guild Requirements and the like. +1 from me.
  6. I think keeping the mages robes from the current and accepted STEP mods and accepting Rustic Clothing for everything else makes sense. Best of both worlds. I've been playing with Rustic Clothing for a while, and I quite enjoy it. The textures are far superior on the whole to what is currently in STEP. This is Core material, IMO.
  7. Although it is a lot darker, I really do like the Gamwich textures for this. I've been using them in-game for a while now. I like the comparison with the Elk, Tech. ;-) It does give it some justification for being so dark.
  8. From the compares, I like the look of the Gamwich texture.
  9. Another mod alongside Lepidoptera of Skyrim to replace 101Bugs if CACO is approved. Recommended by Kryptopyr for use alongside CACO. I have been using this since I installed CACO, and Dartwings have never looked better. Marked for testing.
  10. If 101Bugs is dropped for CACO, we need something in its place. This is recommended by Krypropyr for use alongside CACO. I have been using it, and the new butterflies and moths look fantastic IMO. Marked for testing.
  11. I agree that CACO should be in Extended. I also agree with dropping most of the mentioned mods from Core...the only one I would disagree with is Ragdoll Paralysis. There is already precedent for having a mod in Core, but not Extended: See Brawl Bugs Patch. (In Extended, this is included in Enhanced Blood Textures). We should definitely try to limit those rare cases as much as possible, but it might be worth considering if Ragdoll Paralysis warrants such an exception. Regardless, about CACO: I have played with it for a while now, and I am quite enjoying it. It is what alchemy and cooking should have been in the first place. A definite YES to extended for this, in my opinion.
  12. Agreed, this mod is core material IMO.
  13. What were the settings that worked the best for you, if I might ask?
  14. Looks like you were right, Tech. New mod named "Bug Fixes" fixes this issue, includes meh321's Lip Sync fix and others. Posted in the mod forum and marked for testing.
  15. Discussion thread: Bug Fixes by meh321 Wiki Link This mod is an independent companion to Crash Fixes. Instead of stability improvements, this mod fixes bugs with the executable.
  16. Change video memory size to 4064, and try to increase reserved memory size to 128. See if that helps. If it still stutters, try increasing reserved memory size to 256.
  17. Please post this in the general Mods forum. That is the appropriate place for mod suggestions. Also it would get much more visibility there. :-)
  18. Definitely good to let the Bashed Patch deal with leveled lists instead of a merged patch. However, personally, I create a custom xEdit patch for conflict resolution with other mods. I have found that Merged Patches cause more trouble than they are worth (by introducing errors and including things that you didn't want carried over), but that is just my personal opinion. I tried it once, I inspected it in xEdit, and I didn't like the result, lol. Edit: For people that do not know how to use xEdit, maybe the benefit is more than the downsides. I dunno. I think Ess would know more than I would about it.
  19. I believe so. It just overwrites the vanilla weathers and is basically using Vivid Weathers for the textures. Maybe the mod page has more details, or you could ask Mega. You would need to do a bunch of conflict resolution in xEdit. Also some things like Book Covers Skyrim are already included in LotD.
  20. Yeah, the Increased Weather Variety optional if you want it has different plugins based on the style you want and the sound mod you use. Recommended Heavenly with AOS (hide or delete the others). Also you need the Mindflux particle patch and subsurface scattering patch. It's included in Vividian but you need to download it seperately for NLVA. There is a link on the NLVA nexus page. Install those patches in the same place in the left pane as Neo has you install Vividian (so that SMIM and Ruffled Feather and others override them). Edit: The NLVA description page has pretty good install instructions for all of this. It is not as hard as we are making it out to be. :-P
  21. Sorry, I cannot see the screenshot. It opens as a thumbnail, even in a new window.
  22. The optional file on the HD Horker page is a version by Gamwich.
  23. My bad, Hishy. Thanks for the correction. :-)
  24. Have you tried shutting any anti-virus or anti-malware software off? Or making an exception for the MO folder and the LOOT folder? It could possibly be some overzealous real-time blocking. I dunno. Throwing darts at the wall here. :-P
