  1. @Greg: Sorry, forgot to respond. Yeah, there is no real way to do that, besides reverting the AOS values to vanilla in a patch. That might be more trouble than its worth, though. It really only matters if we are considering dropping AOS completely. It might be good to use the reduced reverb patch, though. Right now it is suggested on the STEP page for those who use headphones, but it might be worthwhile to just make that part of the AOS recommendation regardless, if STEP accepts Lucidity (assuming we don't drop AOS). That way the values are at least closer to what Lucidity expects.
  2. If you move the columns over so that the name column is wider, it should help. I noticed that the mods with really small names are the ones that have the names cut off. If they do not cut off, they should go back to the size of the others.
  3. Nah, I think people are just lazy. :-P Think of how many people fail to endorse a mod. That I will never understand. If you use and enjoy a mod, why not endorse it? I mean, if you use MO, you don't even need to go to the Nexus page! When you check for updates, it will show you any mods you have not yet endorsed. Right click the mod, "Endorse". It doesn't take much effort, lol. I assume NMM has a similar feature, seeing as it is made by Nexus... Maybe they are also worried it affects just them due to mod conflict, and is not a wider issue. I know I try and report every bug I come across with a mod, but I try and make sure it is not a mod conflict first by doing some quick checks in xEdit. Some people may not know how to do that, and are worried about being made a fool of. I figure the mod author would want to know any errors, and if I get egg on my face, so be it! Lol. Agreed, 100%. Enai was good enough to put wide-open permissions on the file as long as credit is given. Assuming he is fine with us doing it, we could just throw this in the STEP Compilation. That way we could be sure it would have a higher priority than any mods that have the old brawl bugs patch (like Enhanced Blood Textures). We would be able to remove the step for the old Brawl Bugs Patch for Core users as well. Assuming it passes testing, of course, but I am sure with testing that we will find it is better than the old patch. With that said, I will make this mod: Marked for Testing
  4. Just to add to this with a question I have been wondering about...do we need to delete the DynDOLOD cache when generating new DynDOLOD / TexGen for a completely different profile of mods? I have both STEP, SR:LE and a totally customized profile that I switch between - all with totally different mod lists. Just not 100% on what the cache does for DynDOLOD, or if it would screw with situations such as mine. Thanks Sheson!
  5. Lol. Fine, fine...
  6. No worries! It was kinda on topic, but yeah, after 5 pages it deserved its own thread. ;-)
  7. SMC - Skyrim Mod Combiner And I know it's been requested before and rejected because it is a two-letter initialism, but it really would be good to have CR (Conflict Resolution) in the system. Used fairly frequently, and I don't think newbies would have a clue as to its meaning. I also can't think of anything else CR could refer to.
  8. Hey folks, I moved all the recent SMC stuff to a new thread to keep this thread on topic with standard SR:LE Extended LotD stuff. That way the new thread can be purely about SMC with SR:LE Extended LotD. New thread here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/11076-smc-with-srle-extended-lotd/ Please keep the SMC discussion there if you don't mind.
  9. FYI from the Extended thread in case you miss it, Neo: If you do a custom install you can choose a different bridge option. Of course, that means custom merging all the .esp's. Not sure if Real Roads is compatible with SR:LE textures or not. It is not parallax. Always fun... :-P
  10. Another update to 1.92 (thanks to Jimmayus for the heads-up). If you use the full SMIM install (and not a custom install like STEP does), you will need Real Roads for Skyrim. Changelog: -Added a Bridges Real Roads install option that uses real 3D cobblestone from dukefx's Real Roads mod. You don't need his mod to use this option, but using his mod is necessary to make all the non-bridge roads 3D. This is the new default install option for the Install Everything option since I recommend all players use Real Roads. If you use a texture pack that conflicts with Real Roads, you'll need to do a custom install and choose another bridge option. Thanks to dukefx for the great mod.
  11. Yep, STEP does respect mod author rights fairly stringently. Any talk about mod piracy cannot take place here. Or on Nexus, as you will get permabanned. Or on /r/skyrimmods because they have the same policies about piracy. Totally different story if you have consent from the mod author to distribute, but if you do not, then such a discussion is not permitted here.
  12. Because spINI overwrites your current INIs.
  13. Ahhh that makes sense. And the true meaning of Darth_mathias's name has finally become clear. You will not get away with your treachery, Lord Neovalen. The STEP Council will be told of your actions!
  14. @ AmeerHM Once you change the XPMSE MCM settings to what Neo recommends, it shouldn't clip. @ Jimmayus Jarl is just a title for how many posts the user has. Same as mine says Dragonborn. The name is above the picture and title. I made the same mistake, too, when I first started posting here. :-P
  15. You need either the skse.ini tweaks or Crash Fixes with the SKSE plugin preloader and UseOSAllocators=1. That would explain the ILS.
  16. It was not just discovered now. Arthmoor figured this out a long time ago and posted about it - see the original link. When you have a guide with a couple hundred mods it is easy to miss things. Especially when one person creates and maintains the whole guide. Any type of minor performance loss can be difficult to track down when it could be any number of interactions between mods. It is likely not that noticeable of a difference, to be honest. The worldspace bounds were not horribly off the original numbers in this case. If you look at a mod like Birds & Flocks, the edits in that mod were off by 15 or 20 units. That would be very noticeable, I believe. However, IMO any type of performance increase is a plus, especially when you gain the performance by fixing what the mod authors deem to be mistakes. Load Order and You (for reading about the Rule of One). Now I need to go read up on whatever Star Wars reference I missed. And I consider myself a fan. :-/
  17. Correct. These edits do not follow the rule of one, so the winning record having the default value is not enough.
  18. For SR:LE and SR:LE Extended we usually extract all the BSAs unless told otherwise. There are a couple mods where we don't due to the author's explicit recommendation or because it actually breaks something. Those are Immersive College of Winterhold and Inigo.
  19. That's really unfortunate that BadGremlin removed all of his mods. I see on the Legacy page that Ice just PM'ed him. Hopefully everything is all right with him, and the mods end up making a comeback. However, it is against the rules to share mods without the mod author's consent. It is akin to piracy. I am sure Darth will fix the CR if it comes down to the point where it looks like those mods aren't coming back. Unfortunately, you'll just have to be patient, and see how this gets resolved (one way or another). Bad timing. :-/
  20. Memory blocks log always shows 256 less than the number in skse.ini. If you meant to put 768, it showing 512 is correct.
  21. Best to use latest MO 1 stable version. Edit: Huh, apparently there was another page worth of posts. Not a ninja. Maybe a sumo? :-P
  22. Another update to v1.91. Apparently a major issue in v1.90 with a skull mesh causing the game to crash. Other things updated as well. Changelog:
  23. I believe Allen was trying to regenerate the navemesh in the merge, which the CK should do upon saving.
  24. Then I suppose hiding the chandelier meshes would be best.
