  1. @Shurah I am currently at page 19 of 36 on your posts thread on Nexus, you are a saint, I have already lost it over the sheer number of people asking can you make a patch for ETaC. I seem to be seeing a clustering of guards and other NPCs on the steps of Jorrvaskr at times, not sure if this is a potential issue.
  2. Carlotta's Market Stall Fix Whiterun (by KevinZiggy) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59274/ What it does: 1. Raises Carlotta's leeks and tomato display bins off of the ground to sit on top of a couple crates. 2. Moves the NPC browsing marker back a little bit so that NPCs browse her vegetables without trying to climb into the bin.
  3. The mod is awesome++, though I reported it as a bug seeing Sigrid having lunch with the kids and then wonder off shortly after Hod turns up and the talk turns to the rebellion. Later Gerdur coming to keep an eye on me while I was working with Alvor. Ralof may trust me but it felt like Gerdur didn't. It maybe my over active imagination but I felt a tension in Riverwood between the two civil war factions that was missing before. FYI Carlotta's Market Stall Fix Whiterun seems to work even though it moves the browse marker.
  4. Yes I am on my Mac at the moment so I can not check exactly but I calculated using the formula and got 7000 and some something. My setup has been rock solid on these setting will all 2K textures and a few 4K textures. I am running around 20+ extra mods over extended and adding a couple a day for testing and play purposes. The only problems I have encountered is the crossfire DoF ENB issue and the flickering faces with "itinttextureresolution=2048" which I don't think is an ENB issue.
  5. This is way off for my system 2x 290X 8GB crossfire and 16GB of system RAM and it say I should use 4064.
  6. Many thanks also, I just arrived at Riverwood and the changes are subtle but make the place feel alive. I won't give spoilers but it is already a must have for me. Couple of minor points: While arriving with Ralof and talking to Gurder and Hod. Sigrid, Dorthe and Frodnar were having lunch on the stump it seemed weird to have them sitting there Imperial sympathisers when talking about the ambush, Ulfric and escaping Helgen. Secondly I did the crafting intro quest and Alvor did his leaning back on the post and commenting routine. Gurder came and occupied the same spot and they clipped. Top marks for fixing the Camilla pathing issue always drove me mad. If you prefer I can post issues possible bugs in Nexus?
  7. I have just hit an issue with DynDOLOD and Helgen reborn when starting a new playthrough. MO complains of missing masters because you need to disable Helgen Reborn until you exit the cave. I got around this by. Rerunning DSR also affected by the missing master. Disabling DDL until after I exit the cave. Play until cave exit Hard save and quit Enable DDL Run Loot Run DSR Run Loot again for good measureI am just wondering if there is a better way to do this? Should the Helgin Reborn mod be moved from the "works out of the box" section to "some assembly required"?
  8. Looks like Breezehome FullyUpgradable is compatible and Dawn of Whiterun is also compatible so I could replace JK's Whiterun with that it just leaves the interior shops which aren't critical. it would be nice if @Shurah could give us 3rd party mod patching guide. I might try patching myself if it doesn't contain any artsy stuff. I am going to start a new profile with just the Carlotta fix, BFU and Dawn of Whiterun and see how it feels and plays. I am currently about halfway through reading all the post for the mod on Nexus, though 50% percent of them are ignoring the FAQ and asking if it is compatible with JK's Whiterun and ETaC.
  9. It looks really good but breaks so many city, town, home and business improvement mods. Which is a shame as it gives the average citizen a much more fully fleshed life. For me STEP is the foundation for my modding of Skyrim rather than the finished build. My current mod list for Whiterun consists of the following "lore friendly" mods: JK's Whiterun Whiterun Gatehouse and Walls Restored Breezehome FullyUpgradable Arcadias Mystical Cauldron Belethors Overrated Goods The Real Warmaidens Carlotta's Market Stall Fix Whiterun I am wondering how difficult would be to patch these mods to work with CIAO? Some of them such as Breezehome FullyUpgradable aren't actively developed any more and would require a 3rd party patch.
  10. Nice I like it I will add it to my current play through.
  11. There is a PR for Skyproc waiting for code review and a commit to fix #33 my Java isn't good so I can not comment on the quality. https://bitbucket.org/DienesToo/skyproc-library/pull-request/6/fix-for-large-records-with-more-than-2-16/diff
  12. Goes well with the HD soups I have been using recently.
  13. Thanks Sheson, forgive my ignorance of how the mod works your explanation makes it awesome++
  14. A quick question regarding Helgen Reborn should I generate the lods as soon as I have installed it or after the rebuild quest is complete?
  15. My two favourites have already been mentioned Hunters Cabin of Riverwood which is a great starter home and an ideal fit with my favoured play style of ranger/hunter. TechAngel also mentioned Breezehome FullyUpgradable which is the best Breezehome mod imho. It is a shame it appears abandoned I really want the tower he mentioned in the last update and more underground areas opened up. One thing I like about both mods is you don't simply walk up, each has a immersive back story and cost. This time around however I taken a different tack my "starter home" is a mule called Annie and Chesko's Campfire mod. I am currently building out Lakeview manor to test out Hearthfires Extended. Once I have it built how I want I will try the Lakeview Extended mod, partly because it is so OTT and partly to see if it will clash with Hearthfires Extended. Also as part of my "South Western playthrough" I also have Helgen Reborn installed this time around.
  16. More Cooking Pots (by DJ_Zephyr) Perseid9's Realistic Needs and Diseases is awesome. I've always been the survival-gaming type, ever since Oblivion, so I like when my characters need to eat. Zeph'r is a fairly voracious Dovahkiin- he can polish off two-thirds of a deer, half a cheese wheel, and a couple jugs of water on some days- so he DEFINITELY needs to eat, and to eat, he needs to cook. And to cook, he needs a cooking pot- something oddly missing from many of the inns across the nation of Skyrim. Which had me wondering how those inns kept their other patrons fed. When I didn't find any mods to fill the appliance void, I decided to go thru a list of inns and check each one out in the Creation Kit. If I didn't find a cooking pot or cooking spit, I added one- most (if not all) of the inns had a fire or oven somewhere, so it wasn't too far of a stretch to add in the cooking equipment. The more-heavily trafficked locations- like those in the major cities- got the fully-loaded cooking spit, while outlying locales- isolated inns, smaller villages- now have a simple pot hanging next to the fire. I did hafta adjust the brick oven and move a couple items in The Winking Skeever in Solitude a bit, but it worked out well. Fort Dawnguard already has a cook pot (I didn't check Castle Volkihar... not sure if vampires need normal food in RND), as do the Retching Netch and the Skaal village's Greathall in Solstheim, so no DLC is required. Assuming I've done this right, every inn in Skyrim should now have a spot for the player to prep their food and boil their water. Even the NPCs will sometimes walk up and use the pots. I've tested it with the aforementioned RND, and it should be fully compatible; no idea what it'll do with other survival mods, tho. If you have any other mods that edit the inns, this may not be compatible with them, but I haven't changed too much with this- aside from the stove and items in Solitude, I mostly just added furniture items. I got the hump after walking into to Dead Man's Drink in Falkreath and discovering that I couldn't cook myself a meal. So a quick google found this under rated little gem. I Don't know if it fits core or extended but it is a simple mod that doesn't mess too much with inn interiors.
  17. Been using the SMIM version for a while now and they look great, it is a shame you can use different textures for different environments. Poor version for rustic inns like the sleeping giant, the nice versions for city pubs such as the Bannered Mare and the cream of tomato soup for the Winking Skeever.
  18. I installed this a few days ago to give it a try and I am part way through building Lakeview Manor, so far nothing nasty has jumped out and bit me but yeah gods Hearthfire is dull compared to the better house mods.
  19. Whiterun Gatehouse and Walls Restored (by BioManF) I have used this JK's Whiterun and ETaC along with some Whiterun interior mods to overhaul the shops and inn. Throw in Inconsequential NPCs and Interesting NPCs along with the extra NPCs and outskirts market of ETaC and Whiterun really becomes the hub of trade the lore says it is. One more mod I use is "Mule of Skyrim" it gives each khajiit caravan 2 pack mules.
  20. Jaxonz Positioner (by Jaxonz) Move objects, furniture, mannequins, weapon plaques, and just about anything else with Jaxonz Positioner. No more fumbling around! Positioner gives you fine motor skills to move things around with absolute accuracy. Works with vanilla and mod home objects and really helps make your house a home. Is this something the team would consider for extended or even core? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYXTftfjf_U
  21. Just like to say a huge thank you to Sheson for DynDOLOD, I am running it at 512 and almost no FPS loss and the game looks incredible, it took around 45 minutes to generate the LODs using the STEP recommended twin SSD setup, I set my output folders to my system disk to minimise the IO on any given SSD. A thank you to the STEP team too for greatly simplifying the task.
  22. I live in a 400 year old cottage, I have looked and the chimney stacks are very tall. Mine appear even taller as the original thatch was replaced in the 18 century with tiles. I would vote if it is still open for discussion that we go for the taller stacks with Sparrowprince's improved meshes and fixes. Just a pedantic point twin clay pots look wrong on a single story dwelling.
  23. ANSI for those who really care https://www.niso.org/publications/tr/tr03.pdf :D
  24. If you can hang on until after the weekend the staff should have published the official detailed installation instructions on their own wiki page for a 2.2.9.1 release.
