  1. Correct. Only the Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files in the ModOrganizer/Profiles/[profile] folder are modified.
  2. This is strange because I don't have this issue, either.
  3. As Grant sagely notes, use one profile and stick with it. If you look closely you'll see that all of the mods you've installed and enabled in one profile are also installed but not enable in the other profile. I usually keep the Default profile pure vanilla and install into a STEP Core or a STEP Extended profile, but it really doesn't matter which profile you use but you do need to keep it consistent.
  4. I just checked and I don't see sResourceArchiveList2 in the Configurator, either. I think the easiest thing to do in this case is to click INI Editor instead of Configurator. This brings up an editor showing Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini. Click on Skyrim.ini to make sure it's selected. Scroll through the file until you find the [Archive] section. In this section you should see sResourceArchiveList... with the BSAs you've already entered. If you see sResourceArchiveList2=..., change it so it matches the guide. If sResourceArchiveList2 does not exist, add a new line immediately after sResourceArchiveList and paste in the text in the guide. When you're finished, it should look like this: [Archive] sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa sResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa You may have other settings between [Archive] and sResourceArchiveList and this is fine.
  5. Which ENB preset includes dxgi.dll? I double checked and this isn't included with the enbseries I downloaded from enbdev.com, so I assume it's in an ENB preset you downloaded? I'm just curious to see if this might be a mistaken inclusion (assuming it's the same as the one in System32) or a shim of some sort. If you're referring to d3d9.dll, the one included in enbseries is a shim (or a wrapper) that Skyrim thinks is the real d3d9.dll, but it works a lot of magic under the covers to provide the enhanced graphics capabilities.
  6. You'll have to switch the masters from the old unofficial patches to USLEEP to make these mods work correctly. You might try using USLEEP Swap Masters Script in TES5Edit to swap the masters to USLEEP. Note that you must install and enable all of the old unofficial patches (Unofficial Skyrim Path, Unofficial Dawnguard Patch, Unofficial Hearthfire Patch, and Unofficial Dragonborn Patch) and USLEEP before you run the script. After you swap masters on all the mods you want to use, uninstall all of the old unofficial patches and test the patched mods to make sure they work correctly.
  7. Glad to hear you finally managed to solve this issue.
  8. No, I cannot say it is this mod. I just noticed it happening a few times in this playthrough so I thought I would post to see if anyone else has noticed it. All I can say is that it's not equip sets because I haven't touched this setting at all.
  9. When you click the link you are taken to the mod's page on Nexus. Click the FILES tab to see the list of files. At the very top you'll see MAIN FILES with one or more files. In the case of Clothing and Clutter fixes, there are currently two files in the MAIN FILES section and one of the is named Clothing and Clutter Fixes. This is the file you want to download and install. You don't need Clothing and Clutter Fixes - Separate Vanilla and DLC Files or any of the miscellaneous files.
  10. Yes, these are settings without descriptions and I've searched for most of them on the mod pages. EDIT: I completely overlooked the tips in Wonders of Weather so I just filled in the descriptions for this one. Need to research Lock Overhaul, Nausica's Tweaker, SkyUI, and Wet and Cold. I filled in descriptions for Lock Overhaul as best I could, but I'm not sure which skill levels it is referencing in the smash locks sections so I left a comment in italics that his needs research. I'm going to bed so I'll dig through some more of this tomorrow.
  11. The basic text is complete, but we need to complete the descriptions for each of the settings for Lock Overhaul, Nausica's Tweaker, SkyUI, Wet and Cold, and Wonders of Weather.
  12. Especially considering AppData is a hidden folder so user's can't go poking around in it to clean the Downloads folder.
  13. I didn't think that would be the problem... just a shot in the dark, but you might try to narrow down the problem a little. Disable DynDOLOD and start a new game (do not use an existing save). Travel to Solitude and check the exterior and interior to make sure it looks good. If Solitude looks good, make sure you have installed the latest version of DynDOLOD, TESVEdit, and PapyrusUtil, delete DynDOLOD and the two mods you created when you ran DynDOLOD Textures and DynDOLOD Worlds, reinstall DynDOLOD, then generate DynDOLOD Textures and DynDOLOD Worlds again. Before running the scripts, DynDOLOD should be the last mod in the left pane and DynDOLOD.esp should be the last mod before Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp in the right pane. If Solitude doesn't look good or you notice other issues, you need to back through the guide to make sure you've installed all the mods properly according to the instructions. If you downloaded the mods using Mod Organizer, you should find the files in the ModOrganizer/Downloads folder so you won't have to download them again. You might even consider organizing the download folder to make it easier to find the mods in the future, especially the big monsters like Static Mesh Improvement Mod.
  14. After re-reading this thread, I think you have something else going on and DynDOLOD is just the symptom. Can you verify that all of the BSA files (in the Archives tab in the right pane) are checked?
  15. Has anyone else noticed this mod changing ammo behind your back without your knowledge even if equip sets are disabled? Here's the scenario: I am equipping a long bow with iron arrowsI go into inventory to equip a sword and exit the inventoryI go into inventory to equip a long bow with steel arrows and exit the inventoryI go back into inventory and see that I am equipping a long bow with iron arrowsNormally this is the desired behavior, but it can make equipping better arrows a pain because I have to equip the arrows twice.
  16. I think he means to move the information in the original post (the screenshots, recommended settings, etc.) to the WIKI so it's easier to maintain.
  17. If you're using 2K textures and meshes and the high quality setting in DynDOLOD instead of the baseline recommended in the guide, you'll need to bump DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024.
  18. I think some obvious ones that should be changed: Auto Unequip Ammo: Unheck Use Equip Sets, although this one gives me fits on occasion because it changes the arrows when I explicitly equip a bow with different arrows. Thieves Guild Requirements: I usually bump requirements to begin 3rd quest to Sneak Skill 30 and requirements to begin 4th quest to Sneak Skill 50. This is just my preference though. Timing is Everything: This may be a one-off oddity, but I was attacked by two groups of Cultists almost back-to-back. This has happened once, so I haven't bothered to dig into it. I think the levels for The Wolf Queen Awakened, Grimsever's Return, and Unfathomable Depths are a bit too low. I usually bump these to 25, 30 and 30, respectively so they don't trigger quite so early in the game. Companion's Guild: So far I've left all these at default.
  19. Nightingale Blade - vanilla and Nightingale Prime: Nightingale Bow - vanilla and Nightingale Prime: Close up of the grip: The vanilla blade is difficult to capture because it is actually darker, so it's difficult to see even in good light.
  20. Thanks for the reminder. I had intended to install and try this mod when it was mentioned because I prefer using the Nightingale Bow after I acquire it from Karliah, but I let it slip through the cracks. I'm downloading and installing it right now.
  21. Also note that with Nexus Mod Manager, loose files always override files stored in BSAs so asset conflicts won't be resolved properly. With Mod Organizer, the asset (mesh, texture, script, sound, etc.) with the highest priority is used regardless of whether it is a loose file or stored in a BSA.
  22. DialogView defines the flowchart structure of the dialog branches displayed in Creation Kit. If you open Skyrim.esm and look at Quest/Faction/Mages Guid/MGRAppBrelyna01View, you'll see the flowchart. I doubt this is used in the game since it seems the only purpose is to display a visual chart of the branches on a quest, but I do not know with a level of certainty this is not used in the game.
  23. It's best to ask such questions over at loverslab. We don't handle such mods here.
  24. I usually use multiple instances of Mod Organizer instead of using multiple profiles these days, and it generally works well. One obvious disadvantage is the mod folders are stored in separate locations so it uses (a lot) more disk space. Profiles are nice initially, but it gets confusing because all mods from all profiles are smashed together in each profile. I also checked the option in the Profiles dialog to manage saves so all my saves are stored in the profile folder instead of in My Documents. This makes it easier because you don't need to worry about all your saves being smashed into one folder together. On your issue with Convenient Horses, have you verified that it's actually checked/enabled in both the left and right pane and the BSA is also checked in the Archives tab in the right pane? Just for giggles you might also try starting a new game to see if it appears in a new game. I'm wondering if something may have broken the mod in the save since you uninstalled and reinstalled it.
  25. Yeah, it's a bit weird because you have to install twice and merge if you both animation sets and I suspect we'll want both animation sets.
