Okay, plugin order and load order are the same thing. Plugins are ESPs and ESMs that are listed in the right side. Installation order is the actual mods that you install and they are on the left side in MO. Plugin order should always start with Skyrim.esm and Update.esm then the Unofficial Skryim Patch.esp, Dawnguard.esm, Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp, Hearthfire.esm... and so on. After than all your mod ESMs and ESPs should be listed. There is no reason to sort them manually though. Use LOOT and it will do it automatically.

Hey guys, you'll never believe what happened: Version 1.5 Extremely late update edition! Up to date with the latest changes from the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. All existing patches were updated with new changes as well (when applicable). Dropped many patches for kryptopyr mods, as well as Persid's Realistic Room Rental. They were no longer needed. Clarified that the Moonlight Tales patch is only for version 2.05 of the mod. Included new patches for Cutting Room Floor, Not So Fast - Main Quest, and Perkus Maximus. Additionally, this mod is now merged-only. This mod now requires Dawnguard and Hearthfire to be installed with their respective unofficial patches. When Dragonborn is added, that will be required too. Big thanks to EssArrBee for helping with updating this mod.

The order in the STEP guide from top to bottom is the order of the left side of MO. The right side for plugins is taken care of by LOOT. You can drag and drop mods into the proper order on the left pane to match the STEP guide.

what patch to use at the end core or extended?
EssArrBee replied to Snowelf12's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Green bar is core, extended are all the rest. If you have all the mods regardless then use the STEP Extended patch. -
It's really just people that have forgotten the real world doesn't exist through that little box in from of them. It may be time for them to turn off their computers and go outside for a bit.

Fonts do not display in main menu
EssArrBee replied to Ventessel's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
The INIs are almost always the problem when this happens. UIO is supposed to see DarnUI and apply the tweak. I'd say that something may have overwritten DarnUI and that is causing the issue. Maybe just install Darn and see if that fixes it. Also, try to reinstall OneHUD. -
The Shadowscale armor looks like it was produced by pros who have never had to do anything for a Bethesda game. The artwork, models and textures have screenshots show from 3ds max or maya, but they clearly don't know much about the way Bethesda games work.
-
Here's what Gaben had to say about it: I'm going to also add this in since my stance on the issue is different now that I've really looked closely at the whole thing. I'm going to amend that a bit. I hate any any situation where someone doesn't have control over the content they produce. The internet has tricked us into believing that somehow content creators don't deserve to get paid because their work isn't tangible. I'd also say that the Steam Workshop is horrible, but it only brings back memories of the absolute nightmare that was the nexus about 5 years ago. You guys may not try to remember, but that thing was not as easy as pushing the big green button and off it goes to the mod manager. Give Steam some time to make things better. Remember how bad Steam was when it came out? All the "end of gaming" as we know it stuff was going on, like is happening with modding right now. Everything ended up being just fine.

I'd also like to ask who exactly is supposed to make the money off of mods? Because right now the only people NOT making money are the mod authors. (Well, until the Workshop changed three days ago.) Youtube, Twitch, Patreon are all monetized streams or videos. They use mods to either showcase, review, or in their let's plays. They make money off of mods. I don't know if they give kickbacks to the modders for mods they use, I know of one channel that will start. Some of those video producers even do that as their job, so they are making some decent cash. The sites make money for hosting through premium memberships and ad revenue. Robin Scott isn't living in a mansion AFAIK, but I bet he makes a decent living, probably deserves to for his service. I'm sure Moddb or other big sites make some money as well. Retailers/publishers/developers all make money from the people that only bought the game to mod it. I wouldn't have bought Skyrim on PC if it wasn't moddable. Actually, I do that with a lot of games. I wait to buy it on PC until a bunch of mods come out, then pick it up on a Steam/GOG/Humble Bundles... sale. As some mod authors have already stated, donations aren't going to cut it. Most of them will never see a penny. So, the entire community that facilitates the modding community is making money from the devs to the sites to the youtubers and the actual content creators are marooned on some island where they aren't allow to make money. It's absolutely ridiculous. There has to be a better way to get some money into the hands of the content providers if others are making money off their work, right?

I can't get Loot to work with MO
EssArrBee replied to InfinityKage's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Maybe try updating to the latest beta version of LOOT. I know you can get it on the Bethesda forums or from the LOOT github page.- 3 replies

Wattz Laser Rifle iron sights off
EssArrBee replied to DanielCoffey's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports
That probably means there are missing bash tags. You may need to check the LOOT suggested tags and what they listed as with Wrye Flash. -
That's nothing, watch this evil bunny. FUN FACT: For that scene they borrowed a bunny from someone. They used this fake blood on the bunny and couldn't get it to wash off, so they spent hours furiously trying to wash the fake blood from the bunny before the owner came to pick it up.

Damn, that's cold blooded. No wonder your husband spent all day cleaning the house. He wasn't being nice, he was scared.

Using Steam workshop with a STEP install
EssArrBee replied to rothbardian's question in General Skyrim LE Support
There is directions on how to move mods from the Steam Workshop to MO on the REGS guide. -
And that right there is exactly the problem. No one even bothered to consider the feelings of the content creators. Most mod users have been self-serving leeches that feel entitled to things they get for free just because they clicked the endorsement button. I would say to wait a bit for the craziness to die down and then people will accept it and live with it. I've started thinking about this long term and how it could play out. I'm less doom and gloom about it, though I was never completely against the idea even before it became official.

In regards to your sticky. You probably don't have to do much to update the mod other than reviewing the current update. *wink*wink*

Apollodown looks to be upset about SkyUI 5.0. He has hidden all his mods in protest. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/33s0g8/i_have_hidden_all_of_my_mods/ From the post. I understand that position. I'm not sure I agree with it though. There aren't many nexus users that will be seeking out SkyUI on Steam after grabbing Apollodown's mods when it's by far the most popular mod on the nexus. I'm just happy that someone got schlangster to update the mod regardless of how they did it.

You don't. Never. Ever. Pet. A. Spider. Don't push down on the top of spider or instinct kicks in and they bite. I've had a couple tarantulas and they don't like any pressure from above.
-
Don't worry, I'm only going to steal some of your mods.

Here's a reddit thread from a game dev that goes into some usage issues that you might find informative: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/33pw0t/licensing_and_mods_coming_from_a_gamer_with_a_bit/

If I was isoku or Chesko I would probably delete all my mods and leave. For the Skyrim community to act like spoiled children who have a sense of entitlement on the level of royalty is absurd. To overreact and be so terrible to people is just awful. I'd bet that they even received threats from people who are completely disconnected from reality. Isoku probably did get threats since in his Nexus article he said something about leaving his family out it. Regardless, paid mods are coming. They already exist in many games (TF2, DOTA2, bunch of MMOs) so it's not going anywhere. Free content will still be available, but some won't. Crying isn't going to change that. People are entitled to make money off of their work and will do so when given an opportunity to do so.

Bunnies usually don't like to be picked up or touched by people unless they have known them their whole lives. My bunny comes up to me if go in the back yard because she knows me and since I bring he cookies and veggies/fruit all the time. She's pretty fat though. Her neck is like a pillow when she lays down. I don't know about being scared of them though. THey do bite, but only if provoked. Their screams are quite jarring. A cat got in my yard and attacked my bunny once and her screams woke me up. She was pretty scared and I had to bring her inside and let her sleep in the bathroom.

He isn't that evi... ALL GLORY TO HYPNOCAT! I actually forgot to mention I have a bunny too. Rosie would not like that forgot about her.
