SKYRIMLE I want to install more mods
EssArrBee replied to RedPanther93's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Just install them. You don't have to worry about messing up anything with the mods you listed. Just remember that Unique uniques has a WAF patch that is on a separate nexus page. After installing remember to rerun, LOOT, then Bashed patch, and then Dual Sheath Redux patchers. -
ACCEPTED Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) - LITE (by --JawZ--)
EssArrBee replied to hishutup's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
If that is the case then use both priority and add sort after rules for the more that go after it. -
Chesko mentioned in a post today that Valve/Bethesda have committed to Patreon during internal discussions. Not sure how that works with mods, but at least it's giving modders the same ability to make revenue without charging for a product that Youtubers have. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/581559-frostfall-hypothermia-camping-survival/page-1459&do=findComment&comment=24861994

ACCEPTED Enhanced Lighting for ENB (ELE) - LITE (by --JawZ--)
EssArrBee replied to hishutup's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
When it's that many mods it needs to load behind you change the priority. That tells LOOT that out of all the mods that have conflicts, the mod with the highest priority goes last/first depending on it's number. Make the priority like 1000 less than the Bashed Patch and see what happens. If it's good then I send the change to masterlist. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
EssArrBee replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Mark NSFW on videos that may involve cursing please, you know for those of us that may be in our office with the door open. I added one to your post, sheson. -
The podcast I linked in the SMIM thread touched on this. DarkOne basically called out all those people that download mods for free and never contribute anything else to the community. Now all of sudden they feel their opinions matter the most. He said that in the hierarchy of things they're opinions mean the least and Valve/Bethesda basically gave into them by removing the paid mods instead of working on the structure of the store.

Maybe it's a corrupted download, so start with that. Delete the file, redownload, and then try to install again. If it isn't that then we can try something else.

Here's a pretty big list from a thread on LL. I'd go with Assimilation Lab, TESAlliance, or Dark Creations if it was me. https://www.loverslab.com/topic/26107-sites-to-get-skyrim-mods-other-than-nexus-otnx/ Most of those are hit or miss. I'd stay away from ModDB if you don't want to be apart of a large site that might not have moderation ability of smaller places. DarkOne was on a podcast and mentioned how the community has turned in on itself from this. He even mentioned the MA forumsbeing pretty awful right now. It's a good listen if you have 150 minutes to kill. https://youtu.be/5aavBAplp5A Brumbek was on it too and they both talk about the whole thing with a bit of perspective from the place of... hmm... what's the word? Adulthood.

ACCEPTED Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM (by Brumbek)
EssArrBee replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Brumbek seams to be finding the time mod again, so that's nice. Version 1.76 -SMIM'd the imperial pressure plate trap (trappressureplatemetal01.nif) used in over 60 places. Only took 6 months to finally get the motivation to finish it. Thanks to donators for giving me a nudge. -SMIM'd the Imperial Wall Shackle (imperialwallshackle01.nif) used in over 80 places. Part of the 71 Candelabras Sconces Walltorches install folder. -Minor UV fix for several Imperial meshes previously SMIM'd (impwallsconce02candleoff01.nif, impwallsconce02candleon01.nif, impwallsconce02nocandle01.nif). -Fixed cave lamp mesh (cave_lamp01.nif) to fix totally incorrect rope normal map texture, my mistake. Thanks to benhat for spotting this. -Improved the rabbit texture (vanilla texture was very bad, I'd have to reanimate the entire rabbit to truly improve it). -Changed folder name for non-dense woven fence to 18 Farmhouse Woven Fence since it is the recommended install option now. Updated both installer scripts. -Hearthfire version of two woven fence meshes (invanimalpen01.nif, invgarden01.nif) added to install folder 18 Farmhouse Woven Fence. Hearthfire not required. -Fixed wrong folders for another ice caverns meshes (caveiswalldoorl01.nif). Now the mesh fixes actually work. Thanks raiserfx for letting me know. He also did a podcast with Totalbiscut and Darkone. https://youtu.be/5aavBAplp5A -
The problem with deleting their comments is that you delete the proof for their banishment. Also, removing posts really messes up search results since the search engine crawlers depend on the pages being somewhat static. EDIT: Holy crap, that guy was a member for 8 years and made one comment. That one comment got him banned.

That is exactly why I've lost motivation to play games.
-
I'm playing the Telltale GoT and Borderlands games on my phone. 10/10 would recommend both as sound bathroom time investments. Other than that I haven't been playing to much. No motivation to play games lately.
-
What mod is that exactly? The page is hidden.
-
Well, Mardoxx definitely got out his aggression trolling angry redditors.

I think anything the last week showed us that the Skyrim community and really the gaming community as whole has a very nasty set of people. Before we could say it was just the idiots that screaming louder than everyone else that get noticed, but it really is a small portion. That just isn't true. The group is actually a sizable portion, probably 15-20%. It might be time for a little self reflection.

wanted Donate Button/Link for Mods in MO?
EssArrBee replied to z929669's question in Mod Organizer Support
The main problem is that mod authors turn it on themselves, so doing for everypage on the wiki would be tedious at best. -
Are you signed in?
-
STEP donations are done on the STEP wiki. Go to the STEP guide and it's on the top right.
-
I have to admit that I'm actually more angry about Silent Hills being canceled than I am about this entire situation.
-
So now were back to the way it was before. Everyone is allowed to get paid for their part in the modding community except the content providers.
-
I don't even think you could SSME since it doesn't exist in the data folder. AFAIK all mods must be a plugin and BSA only. Old school mods that just hacks can't be sold.

ACCEPTED Skyrim -Community- Uncapper (by Elys)
EssArrBee replied to skwareballz's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
You'll need to manually drag and drop the files from overwrite to the Uncapper folder. You can double click the Overwrite to open it up then scrolling still works with the left pane so you can drag the items from the Overwrite pop up to the Uncapper folder. -
/r/modpiracy for providing the mods? What the hell is that non-sense? It's not okay to trash people after stealing from them. You're just as big of an ****** for being thief as the people trying to pass off weapons or armor as a cash grab.
-
Well, Will actually added a couple extra patches I believe from what I did before giving him the package. I do know that kryptopyr has been nice enough to forward the EBQO descriptions to her mods, so we no longer need those in any patches, just load her mods last. I will look everything over in a bit. I've been doing tile and painting all day, so I need to get some beers in me before this paint high wears off.
-
SW sucks, but they only allow plugins and BSAs, so it makes it pretty easy use.
