This looks sweet. I will have to try it out. There is another mod I can't find at the moment that will add all custom weapons and armor to the Economics of Skyrim tempering list so this will match nicely.

Logging really doesn't help when you get lots of mods installed. Only the most experienced modders can even read those and interpret what they say. Looting and shopping menus get bogged down when you have to many items in your inventory. The best way to get around this is two parts: 1) Reduce the amount of mods that add in lots of items to leveled lists i.e. Immersive Weapons, Immersive Armor, ... 2) Use a mod that allows you to access storage while you are traveling around. Convenient Horses has horse inventory, but do not overload your horse or you will crash, just remember to empty it out and sell or craft stuff. I usually will empty out my horse as much as possible, then go out and do 3-4 dungeons/quests and then go back to a city and empty it out. This works pretty good for me.

Those yellow conflicts don't need to be messed with unless you want the hassle of going through each mod archive. When Wyre Bash shows conflicts with mods it is the files in the archives not with the files in the DATA folder that they will install too. When you install mods the conflicted files do not get installed by WB and only to lowest file gets chosen.

I hope all goes well with that project. I have liked it since the early days when it had a SkyProc patcher. Man we were so naive about modding back then... How sydney doing lately, I hope he is still fighting?

I've actually just been manually downloading the files from Nexus and adding them with the "open archive" button on MO.You can set the download folder to a anythin gyou want in the options section of MO so that you can use the big green button. The added benefit is that you don't have to query info for those manual downloads.

Under the sensors tab in GPU-Z click the little down arrow next to the fields and click the Log to File option. That should add that column for you.

The Skyrim engine is DX9 while the new consoles and every modern graphics card supports DX11 so don't be worried that Fallout 4 is using the Skyrim engine. They will at the very least have to update the engine to 64-bit and at best print out the source code for the Skyrim engine take to a dumpster out back, cover it in kerosene, and light that motherf**ker on fire. One thing to to take into consideration is that the engine may been theoretically able to handle 256 plugins, but like Gamebryo, in real life it only handles a lower amount before stability issues arise. Gamebryo really only handles around 140 before stuff starts going bonkers, textures and meshes go missing, physics bugs, navmesh errors everywhere... I know many people have gotten near or at the 256 limit, but I can't think of one person that actually had a stable game at that level. Can anyone confirm that they play hours on end with 256 plugins? Maybe we should start looking for the true limit and tell people that even though Nitpick and MO can help with their fixes, doesn't mean you can run out and install 200+ plugins and play all day.

A strange issue with Vsync....
EssArrBee replied to CanIHasFixedGame's question in General Skyrim LE Support
If you use an injector or ENB then it will switch to the Intel graphics. Make sure that you don't have the d3d9.dll in your Skyrim directory. If you do then change the name of it to d3d9orig.dll and then download the Optimus fix from the nexus and put that d3d9.dll in your Skyrim folder. -
I used it yesterday for some links on the new vegas nexus. No reason that Skryim shouldn't work.

No just start installing STEP section by section instead of all at once. This is much easier if you use Wrye Bash or MO.

GOG is offering Fallout 1+2+Tactics for free for the next 43 hours or so. DRM free too. So you night as well pick them up, nothing to lose. The site has been overloaded so it may take a few tries to get through, but you've got almost two days. https://www.gog.com/promo/fallout_series_giveaway_winter_promo_2013

It finally happened! I'll have to update the ENB Guide and throw this on there, when I get back next week. I don't think I've changed it since like .22X.

Huge FPS drops and slowdowns. please help
EssArrBee replied to menmaatre's question in General Skyrim LE Support
8192 is not a valid input. That parameter only goes up to 6GB which is the biggest cards on the market, so you are probably using 6144 as a value there. If it is working for you great, but it could lead to VRAM crashes instead of RAM crashes. I'm not sure where I remember seeing it, but Boris is the one who said in an ENB thread. It was like 0.205 or something way back when he was working on ENBoost still. -
Almost stable, need fresh eyes with fixing last few CTDs
EssArrBee replied to Sniflheim's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Umm... not sure best to ask Aiyen if AA works with that set to true. I am sure that the stuff like SkyLighting and SSAO are turned off because those chew up performance. -

EssArrBee replied to Sniflheim's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Do you really have the performance to have every AA method on in your enblocal.ini? Really EdgeAA and TemporalAA kind of wash out some stuff when used together. Plus, with TransparencyAA you should be good with just that and SubPixelAA. Also, what ENB are you using because if it has an additional injector like SweetFX or SMAA, then you might not turn off every AA in enblocal.ini except for SubPixelAA. Those are just performance adjustments, since you have the power with two GPUs, but you lack VRAM since there is only 1gb. -
One thing I've been doing is setting up some mods I want to play and then just do a playthrough for a couple story lines. When I'm done I redo my mod list and start over. Trying to do every story line with character is just to hard and takes to much time.

The CORE patch is good, the updated mods aren't going to affect anything unless WAF gets another update for Improved closedface helmets for the dragonborn helmets.
-
Kryp updated Traps Make Noise, and with the Nexus being all weird I haven't checked out the new version. I'll do so early tomorrow, but I'd still say the CORE patch is good to go. Maybe one or two records that would deleted as redundant instead of added.

CTD - Flame Spell on Flamable Oil
EssArrBee replied to lithiumfox's question in General Skyrim LE Support
That mod was updated recently and we haven't adjusted the guide to match the update. Moved to answers. -
I'm almost sure that -24282394243.0004028340823 (or whatever # they use), 0, and default are all the same value to the engine. It is one of those wierdo Bethesda things that no one knows about, but doesn't change anything in game so it is usually best to go with whatever mod loads last. I think that is what I did.
-
I blame Valve, because of their ARG for Portal 2, so many people believed this was real. I wonder if the guy who did it will ever reveal himself.

Moved to appropriate thread.

This is pretty sad.In fifteen minutes Kanye is about to perform in Dallas and no cares because the city is covered in a layer of ice. I used to go to basketball and hockey games there when ever it was icy and the place would be packed. There is even trains that runs just for the arena during events.

When I saw this it felt like the first time I got dumped.

Yeah, who woulda thought that NPCs might benefit from enchanted gear, Bethesda? Going to have to give this a try.
