REQUEST: S.T.E.P 2.2.8 and MO -- USKP and correct ordering of esp's
EssArrBee replied to wolverine2710's question in Mod Organizer Support
@DY, we should encourage users to run BOSS and not use the MO version yet. Maybe this needs to be on the BOSS part of the guide. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Adding Mods Mid-game Question
EssArrBee replied to Deathwing514's question in General Skyrim LE Support
If a mod does not add any plugins (esp or esm) then it is safe. If it adds armor or weapons and doesn't add them to the leveled lists then it is probably okay and won't be the reason for save corruption. House mods can go either way since some add in crazy effects and they tend to edit cells and need patching if you use other mods that alter cells. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I'm not sure how other languages come into play here. Those patches you have listed are included in the Extended Patch, but it is the English version of those mods. I don't think it will break anything, but you might miss out on a few forwards from other mods here or there. I don't think it will cause any game breaking bugs. The author of EBQO is a staff member here, but he is busy with real life at the moment. I'll send him a private message and get back to you if it is really bad to that.

The meshes are what tell skyrim what texture to render. SMIM meshes reassign the texture path where necessary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

ACCEPTED Smooth Blade Draw and Sheathe (by Vanaran)
EssArrBee replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Can you give a reason why? I'm not to familiar with the sound mods other than AOS. I've always trusted other's judgement and it seemed fine. -
Okay, I'm done looking it over, there were only a couple changes so I got lucky. I'm betting z will agree with everyone that guards walking around with daedric greatswords is outside the scope of STEP, even Extended, and we can drop this mod. I wonder if the author would let us make our own version with just a couple guards that walk around with a steel weapon.

DROPPED Cultist Mask Decapitation Fix (by pauderek)
EssArrBee replied to rootsrat's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
If we are dropping mods now, then we should consider picking up this fix. It goes along with the Argonian fix we already have in section D. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I think it required some forwards and combining of a couple records. Let me make the necessary changes and we can drop it then. I'll be a able to do it in a little while as I agree with everyone that it is a nice little plugin for lanterns of skyrim. Personally, I don't use it because I don't like the lanterns on roads, that makes no sense to me that there are lights all over an entire territory of Tamriel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No, all those patches are there to make mods compatible, but the step patches just combine them into one plugin to make things easy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We are waiting for the SKSE guys to finish their version of it. That is why we left a little suggestion at the end of the guide. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm putting my stamp of approval on this mod. I'm not a fan of the vanilla style and never have been. Myster Modder's Shrines are almost indistinguishable from HRDLC. What Ren did was add in some magic to the shrines. TES games should be full of that sort of thing and these fit right in with some of the lore of these Aedra. People would most certainly make extravagant shrines for religious reasons, especially if their gods were actually real. I like the Alt: Arkay, Talos, Kyne, Diabella, and Mara. And the regular: Julianos, Akatosh, Zenithar, and Stendarr. That alt Stendarr is really good too, but the gold coin might be a bit to far for STEP.Â

Sorry, I tried removing the dependency, but with Audio Overhaul conflicting so much, the patch would break. You can just not use the patches, switch to Pure Waters and get what ever separate patches you need. Most are mentioned on the list patches on the STEP Patches wiki page.

Are you using AA and AF from other source or are you just playing without it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Okay, I think we are done with page name changes and updated the changelog. That link on the changelog helps so much when I'm doing changes, thanks z!

I renamed a bunch more mods with ampersands in the name, plus I added all the post release name changes to the changelog. Good idea to keep a log of them if we can. It will help us pick up on any redirects that don't go right. Also, removed the note about AOS.esp being loaded last for sound mods. It isn't needed with the STEP Patches or the AOS Patches if users need them.

ACCEPTED Audio Overhaul for Skyrim (by David Jegutidse)
EssArrBee replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Thank you for the report, you can also post guide mistakes and bugs you find in the 2.2.8 bug reports thread. -
Each INI files is for a separate weather, so the ENB is balanced for that particular weather. You have to get the enbhelper.dll and put it in the enbseries folder though. The drawback is that the load times increase the more files that are in there. Most of the parameters are probably the same as the main file, but there are necessary changes for the weathers in skyrim. I think there are like 300 weather IDs and probably more than that for CoT.

SKYRIMLE EZ2C Dialogue Menu - configurable - better navigation and control
EssArrBee replied to Kelmych's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
The page says compatible with better message box but not better dialog controls. That would make me consider this. Though many things about moving stuff is in less intrusive HUD 2 or minimal HUD. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
SKYRIMLE EZ2C Dialogue Menu - configurable - better navigation and control
EssArrBee replied to Kelmych's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Is it compatible with EFF? EFF incorporates the Better Dialogue stuff.
