  1. With the 2.2.8 update we are integrating MO much more and with profile support you don't have to worry about messing things up with your step or personnel installs. Plus you can keep wb for the bashed patch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. It is hard to say, I think driver stuff is actually loaded into the GPU somewhere, but ENB also tries to share that part of the hardware with the GPU. I get screen tearing from the driver and enb vsync, but I have a laptop with Optimus, so my experience cannot be applied to everyone else. Also, I've noticed some distinct differences between Nvidia and AMD users. It is really a crap shot.
  3. I think vsync can be iffy from system to system. Good that you found what works for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Actually, I think a couple guys are working on WB again. Sharlikran and Utomuo (I think that's what he goes by) have just released a new dev version. Hopefully they are porting lojacks stuff for the bashed patch, that is all I care about at this point.
  5. My compares are updated with the alternates that have been made so far. https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=4719&pid=66555#pid66555
  6. Did you edit your ini in MO? You need to use the ini editor for that stuff. It is one of the icons on the top right but I forget which one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I'm the same way. I'll be jamming some Mars Volta and switch to Valentina Lisitsa right after. [video=youtube]
  8. Okay the 2.2.8 patches are synced up. Ignore the 2.2.9 folder, that is for the future, obviously. Noteworthy stuff: 1. Two extra SMIM plugins for snowy chests and DB Tern fixes are merged. Thanks Brumbek. 2. STEP Core Patch now reduces load order by 7 plugins and Extended Patch reduces it by 13 plugins.
  9. Well the CK is the best place for using that program, plus the Beth forums has a dedicated CK subforum. If you want to learn TES5Edit stuff you should start with watching the videos Gopher posted to get very basic idea of it, if you haven't already. Then you can move on to more advanced stuff with the FNVEdit Manual, it is the same program and you can work through most of the stuff with TES5Edit. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38413/?
  10. It would be cool to have a custom STEP splash window.
  11. SSME is also a decent solution to the whole thing. I uses a different Dynamic Link Library file for DX9. This allows ENB and skse to function without changes.
  12. I opened them up in a texture viewer also, and I couldn't see anything different so just modify the notes.
  13. Thanks for the suggestion, but we are about to release 2.2.8 and will consider everything else after it's done.
  14. I use the textures from RWT. So the overwrite shouldn't be a problem. I'll improve my modpage instructions as they are currently not clear on this. The textures are there if someone installed the RWT waterfall meshes (or WATER meshes) from my mod, but uses Pure Waters, vanilla or other water mod. Did you change the textures at all? Why are they even there if you didn't change them?
  15. Try our z-fighting guide to see if that helps. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Z-Fighting There are different reasons for the shimmer, but only some are actually avoidable, others kinda have to do with pixel density that isn't possible without a monitor with resolution higher that 1920x1080. You'll probably notice a bit of this with the new SMIM mills.
  16. No, the files between these three mods are not the same conflict. Each one has a different conflict with the other. RWT overwrites a couple water meshes from SMIM, but we want that. RWT overwrites two textures from SkyFalls, but we need to load RWT last so delete those two files. SMIM overwrites a mesh from SkyMills and we want that so load SMIM after SkyMills. install SkyFalls & Mills, then SMIM, then RWT, but remove the two files from RWT listed on it's wiki page before install for WB users.
  17. The guide should be updated with the correct directions. The complete legendary patch is a replacer .esp for the main mod, but with the DLC added in.
  18. No you will just delete from rwt to get the sky falls textures instead of rwt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I already updated the mod list. Sky falls is now before SMIM and that means we only hide files from rwt instead of both mods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Ctrl+f then search for ipresentinterval. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. The meshes in the newer version of sky mills is 3d I believe. Then brumbek took them and did his thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Not really offensive but let's just use peoples names. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. The physics gels so objects how to move per frame based on the most common FPS which is between 30 & 60. Scaling that to all other framerates would quickly become and nightmare for math guys. I do a lot of n-dimensional math and it is maddening to implement with software. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. If we could please refer to people by their names, that would be prefered. Not 'the woman/man' or 'the girl/boy'. I'll check out those alternates too and see what they look like in game.
