I don't think all of them are good, but some are definitely worth a look. I'd just say, why not do statues? There are 35K mods on the nexus, so someone has to eventually do the statues.

This author has been doing all the statues in Skyrim. The meshes and textures are included which is nice. Some of them are better than vanilla, and some just aren't that much of an improvement. Was going to mention a couple of them since they are probably worth testing. Vaermina is one that should get a look. GP did a vid of it too. He did a Mehrunes video too that convinced me to start using that.

When you say we permission, what does that entail? All the mods involved in this are free for us to use or is it just one mod we can use?

Actually, the save is what is the problem. You'd have to either reset the NPC's inventory or I think go to a different cell on the other side of the map wait 30 days or something and it might reset on its own. I think you can change the time with the console by typing 'set timescale to 2000'. That will make time fly by at 2000 game seconds for every real second. then just wait for 30 sunrises and return the timescale to default of 30 and go see if they reset their inventories.

Install order is tricky. Since it adds so much new world space and a few quests I'd say in the quest section is best. Merging into an ESM only causes problems if one of the plugins needs to load later on. Most of the time that isn't true. I don't have a STEP mandate thing going on for F&L, but if I did it would probably exclude half the mods I added to guide. I originally wanted to do a STEP-ish guide for FNV, but it just doesn't have that many mods to do it, so went a different direction

What I'm getting at is DDSopt does not have a Fallout setting for the game dropdown. It says automatic, oblivion, and skyrim. This is a problem for Fallout only owners isn't it?

I don't know a better way, but many don't own or use Skyrim, so that is the issue I have. I may need to see if it works without Oblivion or Skyrim installed. What if you only have Fallout?

Sometimes I start watching let's play videos and it just makes want to go play the game myself. It is a cyclical addiction thing I guess. I've never actually watched Gopher's Let's Plays though, pretty much stick to RosterTeeth. PewDiePie annoys the heck out of me, I can't believe that guy makes something around $4 million last year. I should have just done that instead of going to school till I was 25. /bitter I just like Gopher's tutorials and mod showcases, but anyone that doesn't showcase the latest titty mods is usually going to some views from me.

You can deactivate the plugins with Wrye Flash by using the installers tab. Click the mod and all the plugins show up on the right side. Just tick the ones you need and untick the ones you don't. The red exclamations come from installing a mod not compatible with Wrye Flash. It was probably some fomod that Wrye tried to install and a file or two got skipped. If a mod has a fomod then installing with it with FOMM is probably necessary regardless if the guide said to do it explicitly. If you feel comfortable with Wrye Flash then you can use it, but it is something I usually need to know up front so I can help based on the mod manager. I'm actually very fluent in the Way of the Wrye as well as Mod Organizer, so I can probably answer any questions.

The first step in the DDSopt setup says to make sure that step 1.B in the STEP is completed. Pretty sure that should be changed. I'm thinking that is for the game dropdown. I've been using version pre 5 instead of 4, does it matter? I don't even know where I got it from.

I'm curious what this means for his relationship with the Nexus. I was thinking he used it because of that, but now maybe he's doing something else on his own.

North Africa? Like the Sahara? No thank you, I already live in a desert that gets up around 45 and don't want to know how much worse 50 is. Also, there seems to be a bit to much war in those continents over there at the moment. Plus, I don't like living within a km of sea level. High elevation training keeps me sharp. I think it is one rep point per post.

You might be waiting a while, we just released 2.2.9. Also, we want to do a proposal with all the pack authors getting their input on what works and what doesn't, what could added and removed, and petty much anything else. Think we need to start that soon though before the semester starts... man this summer crap goes by fast.

Me too, man. I'm extremely hard to be around for long periods of time. I just don't like other humans, but in short intervals they're okay. Alcohol actually has the opposite effect on me, turns me into a social butterfly. Bless my girlfriend for putting up with me for this long.I'm finding that as time goes on it is harder to be nice to the not smart people after the first couple questions. WHY CANT YOU JUST BE SMART!!!

I was just joking around. I would wait for a response before swinging the ban hammer as well. I wouldn't expect to here anything tonight either. Maybe wait it out a day and just give the user a warning for something like that. Just knowing that we can see people doing that stuff will detract the user from doing it again.

Okay, so you have a bunch of plugins that can be moved to the optional section in MO. You should follow the install instructions of mods explicitly. Here are the ones I saw that should be looked over: Can be moved to optional ESPs with MO. None of them are needed, except for the ILO - GS Shack, which is a matter of preference. Cannot recommend this mod because of a bug that prevents you from going to the DLCs because betsy cannot be dismissed properly. YUP will have a fix for this soon I hope. Not sure what that is or where it came from, but it should be deleted. You can look through the guide for directions to move those plugins to the Optional ESPs. One last thing to do in Wrye Flash, click on the Right to Bear Arms plugin, then in the bottom right wear the Bash Tags are listed, right click->Delev. Adding that tag may help out with Powder Gangers.

Probably the Bashed Patch. Make sure you are using BOSS to get all the proper tags, LOOT doesn't seem to use all of them yet. Then make sure that all the mods are checked for every category in the bashed patch that has mods listed.

Forgot to ask if you are using NVR3? If so deactivate FCO's plugins and see if that solves some of the mismatch stuff.

That is supposed to happen. The Bashed Patcher will import the plugin into the Bashed Patch, 0.esp.

Sum has a setting to turn boss off in the options.

That is just soooooo dumb. People just don't understand anything about the monopoly ruling against Microsoft that do this. IE comes with more than just a browser, it has many components and features that other applications, including browsers, need from Windows. You only get the updated versions of that stuff by keeping IE up to date. It is a security and compatibility risk that you aren't even aware of. All you have to do is keep a version installed and never use it, but make sure you install any updates with Widows Update to keep everything okay for other browsers. Just turn the IE features on in control panel (I think), update, and then turn them off again so other apps can use the components needed. Microsoft still has to comply with the monopoly ruling they got years ago, so there is a bunch they can't do with integrating certain things from IE into Windows. Stupid, I know, but that is what happens when you own >90% of the marketplace.

Not sure I would merge an ESM with the merge script. Maybe leave that and just merge the other stuff. Also, you want to take a look at AWOP Revisions.

You don't need BOSS or LOOT support with SkyProc, just sort before you run the patcher and make sure the -noboss argument is there. Really easy to do with MO.
