  1. Install it as a mod and put it after your OWB non-mo mod. No mod messes with those files. They are really tiny obscure files so no one probably knew it was an error until Q hooked up the log output to NVAC.
  2. I found some errors in my NVAC log while playing OWB. Apparently the texture path for the Sonic Emitter projectiles was left with the name of the developer's files and not the way the game files are supposed to be setup. I changed the file path to the correct ones, so they would stop producing errors in the NVAC log. You won't really see the difference in game, but it is a correction and bad meshes can lead to freezes or CTDs. File here: https://copy.com/4A6v2JNHslaB
  3. Move the Alternate Start version to the optional section, leave the other version, and then follow the directions using the Tutorial Killer.esp. When I was doing those merge instructions I found out that you don't need both Tutorial Killer.esp and Tutorial Killer - Alternate Start.esp. I did know about that and was going to add it today. Thanks for reminding me.
  4. Any people really good with Bash tagging and TES5Edit should test out the latest wrye bash posted today. The Cell tags are implemented and being worked on right now over on the Beth Forums.
  5. Don't worry about it. It is the potential for a problem, but doesn't mean it a problem. We check the list thoroughly for anything that could cause issue and the it is fine as listed.
  6. I can't reproduce this on my end. Honestly I don't even know where to start trying.
  7. Man that is weird. I'd report it to Tannin. Or maybe I'll pass it along to DY and see if he knows what's up. I've never had that happen before to me so I'm not sure what the problem is.
  8. What version of MO and FNVEdit are you guys using?
  9. I don't even know why it says that. Maybe because I used to have sortomatic in gameplay. I'll change it in a bit.
  10. Added three mods from my testing tonight. New Steve Bison Hotel, OWB Path Lighting, and JIP Companion thingy. The last one is a UI mod, so dont go messing up your UI section if you don't know the proper procedure to update that section. It is hard. I think there is a page somewhere on the I wrote on how to do it, but lost the link. It may be somewhere in the last 76 pages of this thread.... Anyways, I need someone to try A Room With A View. I had some missing meshes and want to verify that it was just me, so I can figure out why. I don't have a save that far along currently, so if someone that does have access to the Top's Presidential Suite could check it out for me that would be awesome. I might even put your name in the guide. Bed time.
  11. Kingdom of amular is well worth a Lincoln too if you want another RPG.
  12. If someone already went to the trouble of crating an entire world, there will be some people that are better at making quests and doing dialogue too. I corrected the link too, not sure what I did there. :/
  13. Orsinium - Land of the Orcs (by GrandDukeAdense) New land mod. Always good to have more of those. I think it is still a beta, but this is a huge release for this project. It looks like it's about 2GB download, so should have lots of stuff to do.
  14. Never seen that before, but it has to be some mod. Either a replacer for bodies, hands, or animations.
  15. Oh... Use 7zip or winrar and open the archive. If it has fomod folder then it has an installer.
  16. The downloads and the mods are actually separate. Once you install a mod from archive the archive isn't needed anymore to run the game. Go to the MO settings and tick the Advanced checkbox and then you can change where the mods and downloads are stored. It is usually better to keep the downloads off your main drive if it is an SSD since they have limited capacity. I keep everything but the downloads on my SSD. If you are going to reformat a drive then it doesn't matter what you do now except that you need to back up all the data somewhere else, reformat the drive, and then move everything back. When you move MO back afterwards, you can leave the download folder where ever you please and then just put the correct path in the MO settings to save as much space as possible. Or you can just delete them and if you need to reinstall the mod for whatever reason you can redownload it.
  17. If it wasn't for the INI section I would have kept the guide up to date. That part makes you wonder if it's even worth doing. At least when I was updating it because Boris was updating everyday and some stuff completely changed.
  18. If it was working until a certain time, then something must have changed. Either that or the Nexus is just being weird again.
  19. I also fixed the LOOT directions for ADAM Complete.esp. I didn't realize that it was for the alpha version of LOOT that I've been testing. It is going to be a great improvement, but it is not something a regular user should be using quite yet. The UI overhaul is going to make using LOOT much easier and it looks a ton better. Wrinklyninja really did a great job on that, so hopefully it moves out of alpha soon. Anyways the directions in the guide are now for v0.6 which is stable and works good. I'm testing again and had the idea to do a merge plugin sub page that goes after the armor and weapons. It will walk people through merging their extra guns and armor together that they may add on top of F&L. I know most people add items, since we have that one gun we like. It is really easy to merge to mods that are only a few weapons or armors with other mods that are only a few items, especially since those mods don't have ESMs to deal with and can load late if they need too. That saves me the hassle of adding a bunch of Millenia's guns and then he ends up adding them to WotNM right after I do that. Plus, it will let people save precious plugin space. Hopefully, they are using the merge script instructions I put in the guide already to tidy up a few things. I could add couple more, but it is with plugins that mergable to bash patch, which defeats the purpose. I've also started a conflict resolution sub page behind the scenes that I'll link from the guide when it develops a little more. Right now I'm still figuring out how to tell people what to do, so when I get the wording the correct I'll link to it. It will grow and grow as I keep doing more conflict resolution. I have like 30 or so patches that I made and that others have given me, so it is easy to just reference stuff. I thought about giving those patches out like I did with the YUP patches a couple weeks ago, but there are other problems that arise from that, mostly increased plugin count since they're not all mergable. Doing a sub page lets me make one patch to rule them all!!! Besides that the tiny mods are OWB Path lights, OJO BUENO Nuka COla Machine, anything by sandbox6, anything by antistar not in the guide already, maybe some more Gribbleshnibit8 mods, some Imps stuff, Deimos and some other quests, and then Power Armor. I think that is enough to keep me busy for two more playthroughs. I'll probably about 25% of what I want. I don't consider that a failure, but I'm using the Homer scale of success.
  20. Okay it's all done if you want the LOOT v0.6 directions.
  21. Load After. I'm going to clean up that section right now with better directions. I just have to reinstall LOOT v0.6. I've been testing 0.7 for wrinklyninja and didn't even realize how different the UI is for upcoming version.
  22. Just looked into this and what Nozzer says is true. Roberts goes after NVR3 in the install order. Just move Roberts below NVR3 in the left pane of MO and it should fix the problem. No need to reinstall, just move ROberts below NVR3 in the left pane of MO or even the installers tab of Wrye. I'll be redoing some order of sections and mods, so it will get fixed soon.
  23. Replace small mountain town with large mountain town, plus desert not jungle, replace rednecks with vaqueros, and replace moonshine with mescal. The bunny thing is right though, those things are everywhere, always eating my flowers... err... I guess I'll have to get my pet mountain lion and army of red haired tarantulas and fire ants to wrangle them up. I guess I am picky, but think of just how much rock you actually see in bethesda games? Plus, all the time I've spent up in this thin high altitude air is probably making me a bit loony as I get older.
  24. Sorry those directions were made for the alpha version of LOOT. I didn't even think about the difference. Anyways just edit the metadata under each tab adding the mods and tags in manually.
  25. Actually you might be right: I'm very picky when I grew up seeing that everyday.
