  1. Like double you said... - after writing the bit at the bottom I remember Optimus has issues with some games... Maybe it's an issue with Optimus or w/e they call it now https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33227/? I don't know if this is supposed to call enb or if enb is supposed to call this... For testing remove the enb full and stick this in there Then play around with enb but also report back... Remove all special graphics profiles for skyrim Reinstall distribution packages via the exe the folders ( I believe there are 2-3) Reinstall graphics drovers
  2. I fully understand what step recommends in this case but WDW claimed he was following SR:LE and since I am familiar with SR:LE, I chose to follow what neo recommends rather than what step recommends. Was I wrong to follow SR:LE vs STEP? I also understand how MO handles BSA and that is why I was stumped on finding a solution. In all honesty, WDW may have forgotten to tick the archive but the pics he shared showed otherwise. I was just going down my list of how to troubleshoot -I need to write one- and unpacking the BSA was the next step. As for the disk space it's something like 76KB which is negligible.
  3. I have a series of questions that may prove useful in the near future: do you follow step, SR:LE or your own what mod manager are you using are you using SKSE are you using enb/enboost how much modding experience do you have do you know how to patch mods I would continue to help but I am tired and I have school. I'll be back in around 13-15hrs There maybe someone else to help you in the meantime tomorrow Ill be able to provide better help than I can right now... meaning I'll have pictures, lots of them...
  4. you should have both... the enblocal.in is located in the skyrim installation directory(where the skyrim.exe is located) as for the skse.ini it is located in: <Skyrim installation>Dataskse
  5. you misspelled spoiler on the 2nd one... that is the skyrim.ini Can you post the skse.ini and th end local.ini That shouldn't be an issues but more of an inconsistency in the cosmetics.
  6. I rarely see CTD caused by scripts... Its more likely that its the memory problems Well, I guess I'll start somewhere... whats your skse.ini and your enblocal.ini Also download and install Memory Blocks Log cause your game to crash Then post the Memory Blocks Log.log If you can just copy/paste them into a spoiler its easier for me to read
  7. Z Thats more/less what I had thought but extracting seems to have worked just fine. He extracted the bsa that was present in the mod folder. I didn't tell him to reinstall nor redownload, only to extract the bsa via mo archives tab Tech I realize that the conversation should not have continued in pm but I kinda just went with it because it was late(or early depending on how you look at it) I was thinking the same when it comes to the dummy files meaning just move them to optionals. WDW just extracted the bsa that were present in the load order. So, he didn't delete the incorrect one and the bsa wasn't corrupt. The problem came directly from IA and after extracting it seemed like everything was fine. I am also leaning toward that it was some minor detail on the users side but after extracting it seems fine. Should I dump the pm posts on here or what?
  8. Even after briefly looking at those pages, it still doesn't answer why the assets to Immersive armors wouldn't load. I originally thought that it could be that it wasn't checked but one of the images in the pm chowed differently. Is there something that I am missing or could it have been something really simple and we may never know what it was exactly? On a side note, shade me is pretty good at modding...
  9. try turning off the underwater thing in enb and see if it removes the black... EDIT: I knew about the underwater fix but I thought it was obsolete
  10. I was going to argue with you about how it does need the dummy in the list because I had assumed that without the dummy MO was unaware but it seem that is untrue. So, I tested myself and sure enough it does load but that doesn't explain why WDW's Load Order (SR:LE) wasn't loading the assets for Immersive Armors. I don't know if the following is true but... Doesn't MO load the bsa by renaming the to a three letter code (aaa) and stick this chain of codes inside the ini as sResourceArchiveListOR sResourceArchiveList2 which has a limit of 255 characters. If that is true then maybe the character limit was reached and skyrim just ignored everything that followed. or because the dummy .esp was missing the .bsa was left unchecked. I am just trying to find out why it wasn't working. Z I'll add you to the pm conversation so you can take a look at the pics he sent me.
  11. oh... I think I know whats up... btw enb water isnt supposed to be black
  12. I believe it is supposed to be <br /> but it seems happy with <br> and you seem to have fixed them....
  13. The spacing above the rules are really inconsistent... I don't know if I could fix it because the whole permissions thing
  14. I would keep the boss rules people still use it. Including SRLE users and me of course. I would agree with moving them to the end but maybe also left them as they are for each mod.
  15. you may want to change h4 to a color that has more contrast with the hyperlinks You may even be able to get away without a TOC try it, add this line to the top of the page "__NOTOC__" but I don't know if the Pack form will like that Honestly, it looks like every other STEP guide like thing but hey its better than it was. I like when things are unique and weird :/ So, yeah, that is my opinion and I make terrible color choices... Maybe find colors that have the same palette but with a different hue. I like the original green color for the boss and loot rules because they stood out and were very visible.
  16. In response to Z... WDW was following what SR:LE guide said to do which is to set MO to extract ALL bsa. Generally, this wouldn't be a problem but SR:LE also says to delete the dummy esps for each mod. How would this not be an issue? If the dummy esps were still present in the Load Order MO would be able to see which bsa need to be loaded and where. I know STEP recommends NOT to extract bsa. Neo's SR:LE requires that bsa be extracted. Personally, I extract mine because I know where to place them and I am also aware of which files are supposed to overwrite which. Do you want the quotes from SR:LE about extracting them. In post #98 there are the specific lines
  17. ok. When you are on a wiki page like SR:LE or my guide. There is a "Log in" thing in the upper right hand side of the page. Log in and you'll see [PAGE TOOLS] hover over that and yup see the history thing. You can move the first dot down the list to see all of the changes that have been made. Are there any other questions related to the history page?
  18. I remember having really bad blending until I updated pure weathers for that particular update he had included Jawz sky dome Maybe try out pure weathers and see if the sky dome is the solution to the fix you are looking for.
  19. Yeah.. If I knew about those links early on it would have been way easier... If you need any info then feel free to shoot a pm to me... P.s. I approve. The sensation of burning a picture with fire has subsided, strange.
  20. I did the same thing before but glad I could be of assistance.
  21. Some wiki templates All of the Templates To find it go to TOOLBOX -> Special Pages -> Lists of Pages/Templates Mediawiki Stuff Its the hardest page to navigate for specific info. Wiki handbook May have info on stuff that is for admins but there are some very useful bits in there css stuff P.s. Still, I want to burn it with fire
  22. I used a wiki page. I gave me maximum freedom but also I had to learn by trial and error. I can give you some pages to refer to if you want it. Some of the stuff doesn't work because the wiki more/less scrubs the page from anything that could potentially be used for evil. I don't know if you could break away from the "pack" wiki system though. On a side note, with the new profile pic, I strongly feel the undying urge to burn it alive... Or is it just me...
  23. I do think I fully understand the question. If you want to take 2k normals and bring them down to 1k Then all you would have to do is set it to reduce anything greater that 1k But an optimizer may also optimize other textures along with it like diffuse... So you'll have to restrict it in some way like a filter... I don't know what program and I don't know how you are optimizing it but since no one answered your question I though I should give it a shot even though my knowledge is limited.
  24. Yea colors and formatting are a pain without others input... I mean look at the first post on the only topic in the oblivion subform Look at the mythic dawn page... I am terrible at color and format choices. At least you have a user base that can tell you what they like and dislike. I had to go bug EssArrBee and others for input...
