  1. If I had to pick a texture that is available at this time then I would choose Gamwich's. No is a mod had location specific locks or a lock variety on different objects then that would take my vote but sadly I do not believe one exists.
  2. My observations kind of in line with what is said on that page but in my experience AMD CrossFire behaves weird with every game.
  3. It is different from the surrounding area but I would have to concur with Aiyen on this one. In my opinion blurry textures should be replaced with just about anything that is available on the market unless it is objectively worse.
  4. I've always found it to be a VRAM hog. When I switch from 512 -> 64 I quite literally gain some VRAM space. That being said I have never properly tested this theory. I can recall that performance was unaffected to any noticeable degradation but the overall felling was better.
  5. The question of does the effect add to the game is debatable... Even though it may not seem realistic, it still adds to the illusion of rain, which is terrible in vanilla. Are you really that worried about the esp? I don't remember what STEP Extended plugin count is at but I do know its no where near the 254 limit. I doubt the script will cause any issues or performance hit. Why do people still down scripted mods...
  6. with 8GB I would set it to VRAM and set ReservedMemorySizeMb=64 and but that is personal preference at that point. I never understood the reason for having ReservedMemorySizeMb= greater than 64 but it appears to be very dependent on one's config. Maybe there is someone that would care to enlighten everyone including myself.
  7. start here to check for errors in xEdit, just load it up with your current LO and then select all the plugins from after the unofficial patches to the end of the LO then right click and "Check for Errors" Copy what shows up in the log starting on the line that says "Checking for Errors" or what ever it may be.
  8. I think phazer11 means to include this link
  9. I wouldnt say requires 221 but rather requires 221 or greater there are sometimes reasons to backdate but I dont think this is one of them. However, that was the only logical suggestion that I could make at this time. Tech will likely be able to help you out a little more.
  10. Ganda make meshes? Blasphemy! He to busy talking on the IRC and taking exams. *shameless plug*
  11. that looks like DOF or depth of field in the ENB. I have no idea why you are using any version other than the latest ENB
  12. This is another one of those must have mods. Way back when, I saw the two rain bands and after that I couldn't stop seeing them. This mod helps with the illusion that there is rain even if the effect is fairly small. On the whole "testing" tag thing, I added it to two mods and they were lost awhile back. My guess is that the search is being dumb and non of you can see it. *shrugs*
  13. If you are following STEP or you are doing your own install use LOOT. If you are using SR:LE then use BOSS because that is what Neo wants to use in his guide. LOOT is BOSS successor but it is a completely different style of things. There are some people that advocate for BOSS but a majority have switched.
  14. feel free to update the guide. I dont have anything installed because of hardware issues so I am unable to update the guide for the time being. Just make a post saying what part was updated and I'll take a look.
  15. If I remember correctly there was a mod that occupied the same space but I am unsure.
  16. I'm pretty sure hiaglo is broken with enboost. EnableProxyLibrary=false And report back Edit: you already tried that but still for the time being leave it off Load up xEdit and see if you have any missing masters Re-run fnis patcher? Take a look at this https://forum.step-project.com/topic/6726-common-ctds-freezes-ils-and-memory-issues/
  17. Can you link where you found the info. By today it should be ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false because the MEM function is no longer needed and may cause issues with SKSE memory tweaks
  18. Check for errors in xedit and upload what spits out after the "checking for errors" line
  19. in enblocal set ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false then report back
  20. Well I don't see any reason not to include it and there is yet to be arguments against using it.
  21. set it to false. The memory function can cause issues and is no longer needed. ENBoost is the Reducesystemmemory option
  22. what about ExpandSystemMemoryX64 in enblocal. Is it set to false
  23. I believe there was a smell debate previously that resulted in Microsoft security essentials to be just overall good
  24. Discussion thread: D13 Faster GET UP STAND UP animation vanilla friendly by DarkAngel13 Wiki Link I was talking to UnmeiX about various mods and this one came up and we both realized that this mod isn't included in STEP and I feel that it should be. It changes the stand up time from the frustratingly long time of ~6sec to an quick ~3sec. This is a must have in my opinion, especially if you use Dragon Combat Overhaul.
