  1. What do you mean by 'jittering'? Do you mean stuttering, frame rate drops etc?
  2. ROFL... :) In all seriousness though: I do like the idea behind this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64249/?
  3. Take a peek here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129 That should get that started. Not absolutely guaranteeing it'll fix your issue, but I never have steam in a UAC controlled directory.
  4. I'd be trying to move Steam out of Program Files (x86) first. You may have the old UAC blues if you leave it there.
  5. I read 'no shields in the game' and closed the page. Forgetting of course that it's April 1st... Stooged.
  6. Yeah PerMa is a good idea, but agreed, until it's nailed down perfectly and T3nd0 stops putting out updates with borked files requiring fixes, maybe leave it out for now.
  7. Have had a bit of a think about this: Yes SR:LE is a setup more catered for those with a bit of modding experience and know their way around the tools somewhat. However, you're still going to get people who are new to it all, and maybe who's enthusiasm and confidence in their own ability exceeds their experience having a shot at it. For that reason, even though it's a lot more work, I'd suggest leaving the conflict resolution page pretty much as it is. You could, and probably should, make the link to downloading the pre-made a little more obvious maybe. It's still a very good way to learn what a conflict is and how it can be resolved in it's current format. I think leaving the info where it can be seen and read would give people who are willing to try it a little bit more confidence than just a video or a basic how to guide would. Of course it's your guide, Neo, and you do with it what you wish. I'm more trying to pre-empt people showing up with issues that they've not fixed properly while trying to do the conflicts themselves, based on misunderstanding a video etc, even if the video's very good.
  8. You don't need two SKSE folders. If you've added the needed .dll files and launcher to Skyrim directory and then added the SKSE scripts as a mod via Mod Organizer that should be all you need. Create your ini file in the Mod Organizer made SKSE folder. Don't add a second SKSE folder and ini to Skyrim/Data.
  9. Quicksaves are a pain and really you shouldn't be using them. Much easier fix.
  10. Windows 7 works fine for gaming. I've had it on my past two machines with no issues.
  11. For future reference, wait at the entrance of Riverwood for him to catch you. Should be golden from then.
  12. I follow the guide page normally. Have downloaded the pre-made once or twice, but I prefer looking under the hood and making edits myself.
  13. Had you run ahead of Ralof a way? That's often when that sort of thing happens.
  14. Laughing at the butt hurt joker... I know who you are, who's minused a few on my posts in this thread. Grow up, child.
  15. Skyrim Immersive Creatures, OBIS and High Level Enemies keep it hard enough for me.
  16. EDIT: I'm a dunce, I see the Bashed Patch after. Still in 10, you'll need to remove all Levelled references from the Merged Patch, and Clean Masters. EDIT again: As a 6.5 maybe: Adjust load order to follow the basic load order as suggested by Raulfin on the PaMa FAQ page. Some things need to be at the top, like WAFR and CCR etc. Some need to be at the bottom, such as Pre-PaMa patches, etc. Lock them in place using MO's lock load order feature. Still More EDITS: I tend to do it in the order of Bashed Patch, Patchus Maximus, FNIS, ASIS (if using it), DSR. I Always do DSR last.
  17. Have you made the ini tweak of setting bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1 to Fallout.ini's [General] section? I think you'll find that'll fix it. And I wouldn't play a Bethesda game without ENBoost. It's often the first thing I install. EDIT: Ninjaed. But I may as well add, if that line's not in your ini files at all, write it in.
  18. You don't need to. Turn that MO function off. It's a good idea but it's only in beta and likely always will be. To turn it off: Screwdrive /Spanner button, plugins, Basic diagnosis plugin, change check mod order to false.
  19. Doubt it'll be MSE. I run that with no issue, but I do also have Steam installed in a non UAC directory...
  20. Firstly, damn cool forum name, Capgras Delusion. Secondly what you want is here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7418-YUBN-8129 Should sort that out.
  21. Easier than that. Check out the YouTube videos from Dirty Weasel Media on PerMa and PaMa setup. These essentially work with any mods setup. There's a few patches you need to grab and a little bit of manual mods sorting to do, along with using MO's Lock Load Order function. When it comes to adding things to Block Lists, just check the Perkus Maximus patch esp when done and if it has any masters you don't want in there, stick those masters in the Block List, delete the Perkus Maximus patch and repatch. Rinse and repeat as needed.
  22. Conflict resolution's not that hard, really. It's a matter of common sense really. Fire up TES5Edit, filter for losers and just step through them plug in by plug in is usually how I do it.
  23. Not a fan of the CBBE base textures at all. SRLE with UNPB and mature skin works better, and so does the STEP replacer.
  24. Not that hard. Just have to know what you're doing.
