So, I'll have to create the page as quickly as Cornshaq did when he did his run of SMB2. Also, my response will not take any longer than 15 minutes, as that is the Youtube time limit. (Points to whoever gets the reference first) -
I've said this on the mod page a couple of times before, but you really should make a separate thread for compatibility patch requests. Reason? Because without it, the requests risk getting lots in the other posts about the mod.

A Comparison of Water Mods
WilliamImm replied to TechAngel85's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
I'm seriously convinced that using Pure Waters with the WATER optionals would be the best choice for STEP, judging by techangel85's comparisions. Maybe nominate for next release? -
DROPPED Barrow Button Fix (by OfftheRails)
WilliamImm replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
After discussing with Arthmoor more, this "barrow button" is a non-issue. The Barrow is marked as a non resettable zone, and even if you enter the Barrow before the quest, the trigger doesn't depend on the quest being active. So, there's no point in fixing it at all. I brought this up to Arthmoor - he said that no radiant quests sent him to the Barrow. I know the UESP says that one other quest goes to the area, but that seems to be taken care of via script already. Think that going to the Barrow before you get the quest can cause the issue. I'll bring this up again in the chat again to see the general opinion - didn't really see one last time. May also report this on the Tracdown as well. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2 -

Here's a experimental file of the fix with my changes. Go ahead and try it out. If it works just fine, then I'll see if I can upload this onto the Nexus. -

That sounds good. A possible way to implement that (don't know if it's the best way) would be to have the pull chain be deactivated during the duration of the Yngol Barrow quest, and have both the hidden lever and the chain be valid activation methods for the portcullis. Of course, this means that there would be a suddenly appearing pull chain on the next visit to the barrows, but that's a minor problem. It also means that the quest entry for the Barrow needs to be modified to have the portcullis as a alias, so compatibility problems will be created with anything that modifies the Barrow quest. Then again, if I go that route, I will be sure to have a version with the Even Better Quest Objectives objective. -
STEP v2.2.4 Official Bug Reports Thread
WilliamImm replied to z929669's topic in Step Skyrim LE Guide
Also, one more thing: The Unofficial Dragonborn Patch does not have a corresponding anthology thread. I used the version in the Mod Suggestions forum for now, but that should be moved into the anthology by a admin. (The link to the thread is in the wiki page for the patch. I only noticed it when I was adding mirrors to some of the included mods.) -
Page created.
-
Still not working. I only see the link to the forum.
-
However, RaceMenu now has a optional file that does basically the same thing, so this isn't really needed.
-
Posted in the Mod Suggestion forum and also suggested in the development thread for STEP 2.2.5.
-
Cutting it a little close for mod suggestions, but since Wet and Cold has been reinstated in this release, there's no real reason not to introduce it's Dragonborn specific addon, Wet and Cold - Ashes. While this adds ash effects and gear to Wet and Cold, it also (more importantly) makes the origional mod work properly in Solstheim. Unless there's a objection from a admin, I'm ready to create the wiki page for that mod.

Discussion thread: Wet and Cold-Ashes by isoku Wiki Link Basically needed for Wet and Cold (now reinstated in STEP) to work in Solstheim. Also, adds various effects releated to ash, including approiate gear. Requires Dragonborn and Wet and Cold (obviously) together to properly work. Accepted for STEP 2.2.6

If you were wondering as to the progress of the ticket, I did get something back from Bethsoft - but it was a survey. No reply/link to ticket. Still waiting...

STEP v2.2.4 Official Bug Reports Thread
WilliamImm replied to z929669's topic in Step Skyrim LE Guide
Invisible Hawk Fix was somehow added back into the STEP modlist after it was removed for being redundant with the USKP. Some sort of mix-up? Whatever the reason, it should be removed from the modlist, again. Also, there's another missing mod entry, right where Dawnguard Rewitten - Arvark should be. This should also be corrected. (By the way, yes, I did rename the mod on the STEP wiki, if you were wondering.) -
https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/files/file/662-disease-descriptions-for-the-immersive-adventurer/ When I added it to the Disease Descriptions page, I didn't see it. Where are ExternalURLs placed in mod pages?

I think there was a mix-up and Invisible Hawk Fix got added back to the STEP modlist during some unreleated modifications. I'll report this to the admins shortly. -

It already is removed. Been done a few releases ago. -
I would like to see if it's possible for a mod to have multiple download sites. For instance, I host a mod of mine on another site (AFK Mods), and I want to provide that link along with the Nexus link, in case the Nexus is very busy. Tried using external URLs to do so, but it didn't work. Is this a possible feature to implement for the wiki?
-
No. Only when I get a reply from Bethsoft about this.
-
We are still missing a wiki page for this mod. I realize that I'm creating most of the new wiki pages now, so I will prefer that rootsrat or someone else would create the wiki page for this mod. If push comes to shove, then I'll create the page.
