  1. I was thinking that too, but I'd suggested he post that anyway, since it might fit under the STEP mandate.
  2. It's best to make threads for each of the mods you mentioned in the Mod Suggestions forum, instead of just simply posting them here. Then again, anything that you can find that fits within the STEP Mandate would benefit it. While these might not make it into this release, they might do so later. Even obscure mods are welcome here, as long as they are of sufficient quality.
  3. Might as well create the mod page now. Didn't mark it as a core mod (waiting for the admins to determine if it is core or not), but when in Rome...
  4. Released the 1.2 update. Now, there should be no more unreadably small text. I also included the USKP change to Witbane (and extended it to the Trap version as well), and added a Bash and NMM installer. Just don't ask me to make a NMM installer from scratch from now on, as they are ****ing tedious to make. God...
  5. Thanks for the work testing the mod. I've decided to do a differnt approach with the descriptions - the mechanical effects will be in the disease name, and the description will be just the fluff. This means updating all of the plugins to match, including the RND one. It should be up by the end of day now.
  6. I don't disagree with your assessment, z92. I'll be using Deadly Serious for my personal installation, but for STEP, which tries to remain close to vanilla, there's really nothing better than what is in the game by default for the armor.
  7. Fuz Ro D-oh has also been updated - which was really the update I was looking for myself. As for Smart Souls - Acquisitive Soul Gems is doing what it did and more without being broken because of a sudden update to the game.
  8. Looking at the images, I'm going to vouch for Deadly Serious. On careful examination, Proper (Red) looks like the vanilla textures with a filter applied on (which is something that I really don't like for retextured anything), and Proper (Black), like as Techangel said, looks too similar to the Nightingale armor. Even through it is quite a style change from vanilla, Deadly Serious wins out in my book as the best looking of the Shrouded Armor retextures. And it would probably be my choice for a while, at least until CaBaL covers the armor. However, if you think Deadly Serious deviates from the vanilla style too much to be included in STEP, then you can just go with the vanilla+HD textures until CaBaL gets to retexturing the armor (which might take a while).
  9. Funny - they show up for me as well.
  10. So... digging around on the Nexus for texture mods made by the mentioned authors, I've found these works: Weapon Retexture Project with unofficial GRA patch if using Gun Runner's ArsenalRevised 357 Revolver Retexture (not included in the WRP yet)Wasteland Flora OverhaulThe FNV version of the Book of Silence, along with Bornagain-style combat armor and powered gloves.Looks like quite a nice list. Any others? Wish CaBaL was reading this, as I suspect that he would have some good recommendations.
  11. That sounds good. If I recall correctly, NVEC includes EVE, but extended to support all DLCs. Same mod includes both New Vegas Bounties, which I've head (at least judging by Gopher's videos) to be really well done. That being said, starting with the UI mods, Project Nevada, then Mission Mojave (Plus), EVE, WMX, and the textures made by Millenia, Vurt, and CaBaL (if there are a few more, I'm interested in knowing) would be the best option.
  12. Hey, I was also looking for a good first-timer mod order for that game. When I have time, I'll be sure to try your suggestions for the game.
  13. Since there's no real downside to the mod, other than adding yet another plugin ESP, I've went ahead and created the page for the mod. Yes, the mod has not been officially accepted, but right now, it's looking fairly likely that it is.
  14. I'm pretty sure the USKP change was introduced after the release of the mod, given that I haven't really payed a lot of attention to Disease Descriptions. Can be fixed, but I'm busy with setting up my Skyrim installation now.
  15. I should be able to get the 4-way comparision screenshots between Vanilla, Deadly Serious, and both versions of Proper Retex. That is, when I have my Skyrim installation set up for testing.
  16. Could do that. I've arleady made a merged version of the main + dlcs, so doing a STEP verison wouldn't be much of a stretch.
  17. I'm still there (well, I'm one of the more recent mod testers). Just need to set up a proper STEP installation, and then I'll be ready to go.
  18. OP updated with instructions for mod testers. I'd prefer if someone other than me did the testing.
  19. I personally use it when I'm not doing testing for the STEP project. Really good mod by a really good modder.
  20. Hello Lanceor, and welcome to the STEP forums! Are you the same Lanceor that made the Knights of the Nine - Revelation quest mod for Oblivion? Thought your name looked quite familiar. Haven't really tried any of the mentioned mods, so I can't really say for them. Also, why are you removing Acquisitive Soul Gems? Issues with that?
  21. Also, needs comparison screenshots with Deadly Serious Shrouded Armor. EDIT: Thanks for adding that to the OP. I will go and test this mod when I get my Skyrim testing installation set up. I will compare for both genders, using Deadly Serious (with hood) and both versions of this mod.
  22. Nothing a few ESP modifications can't fix. I'll see if I can make a fixed version and Consistant Older People patch soon.
  23. Actually, you need to run the SkyProc patcher even if you are not adding any additional items.
