  1. Smoking Torches and Candles by mindflux Adds smoke effects to both candles and torches. Subtle and effective.
  2. It's a good way to test this mod and scripts.
  3. Okay, that's cool. I'll install the cozy interiors for now. I do plan to test out Relighting Skyrim for the STEP Lighting Overhaul project. This project as Vividian Vanilla and ELEP for the ENBs to test and ELFX and Relighting Skyrim as the lighting mods to test. I have yet to combine Relighting Skyrim with Vividian Vanilla and get it a go.
  4. Reverted back to old ELE - Interiors and this is the result: It's still intense but not as bad. Cozy interiors fire looks much better as there is no intense white. Not should of the difference between the two but perhaps that's a starting point.
  5. Any textures that you provide that overwrites SMIM should use the SMIM texture as a source, imo. Simply because it is so widely used. I consider it an essential mod. lol Of course that could be Mindflux's patch providing those textures. Campfire wood textures. EDIT: Perhaps I disable ELFX and see if that fixes it. EDIT 2: Still really intense without ELFX:
  6. We have it above SMIM in the STEP so that the two SMIM textures take priority. That could be the difference. Idk. Vividian overwrites several of the textures/effects from the mod though. Including the two from SMIM. AH! I forgot to mention I have ELFX installed as well.
  7. The one that is in STEP: Ultimate HD Fire Effects
  8. Forget my last comment. Checked the FOMOD and it's just MO being weird and choosing that name over the default one. MO problem, not Vividian. Here's the cozy interiors which is very cozy indeed!
  9. Yeah, give me a sec. Also, is there a darker nights version for vanilla? All I see in the installer is, "Nights of DOOM". EDIT: The name of the mod in the Vanilla FOMOD is "Vividian Extended Weathers" as well. Same name as the Extended Weathers optional.
  10. Oh, normal interiors as well. Thanks for the INI! Here are the before and afters for the enbseries.ini file you provided. Before / After Forgive the position change. I didn't have those spots saved.
  11. They can almost be described as "newish" vs older armor. Vanilla look older and worn more, faded from the sun and occasional cleaning. This mod looks like the armor is more fresh off the rack and hasn't been worn for very long.
  12. Agree and there is way too much specular going on there. It should not be shining like that.
  13. Looks great but there might be a couple of issues. Reflections/specular seem a bit high: https://i.imgur.com/reu2dl5.jpg Fire intensity is really intense ( no ENB / ENB ): This is the Vanillia version with ENBSeries v0.265. I installed the Normal option, ELE - Lite, Vanilla Weather Patch, and Extended Weathers.
  14. We can always take a look. I'll be gearing up for testing soon...ish. lol
  15. Here's mine for you: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1_Nlyy2ueu0OHlrZUt5ekFWQXM/view?usp=sharing
  16. That is just there as an example. The is nothing new to add to the changelog yet.
  17. Interesting. I always thought RSE provided ember textures but it's only providing ash and giant fires textures along with the ember and smoke effects. (am curious what that fxembers file does in RSE) ...carry on, carry on...
  18. In no offense to the author, but this all looks like vanilla with added effects and slight color changes. Not an improvement in my opinion, just simply a change.
  19. STEP should be Realistic Smoke and Embers... make sure you have that installed SRB and update the compares! EDIT: The skyforge just needs a proper normal which would add some depth.
  20. We've done extensive testing on this subject and have found the setting to have no impact when placed the in the SkyrimPrefs.ini file. In fact, Tannin (author of MO) helped us to confirm that the game itself incorrectly places the parameter in the SkyrimPrefs.ini file when, in fact, it should be placed in the Skyrim.ini file. We recommend for the value to be set to 1 now or delete it altogether since the default setting is 1 anyway.
  21. STEP no longer recommends to disable iPresentInterval.
  22. I can later. Not at my computer atm.
  23. Tag it using the tag, "testing"and we'll review it.
  24. ...meaning I still have and ENB installed and whatnot. Guess I could just disable it...eh, I haven't updated some of these mods in a while either and would need to check which needs updating in my Extended profile.
