  1. That one was abandoned during last testing. I say we add it. Probably have to hide the Stalhrim texture to keep Sparrows. Final vote: Yes for Extended I only say Extended due to the deviation from vanilla for the huts. This could be overlooked and be put in Core.
  2. I stand by what I said earlier for this mod. Most of it looks like simple tweaks to contrast, saturation, and color. I could easily do the same thing in Photoshop and only spending a few minutes on each item to do it. I see no actual quality improvements. Just tweaks here and there. I giving this a "No" vote because of this. If the author were to make this modular using a FOMOD, we might be able to easily pick a few here and there that we like but even then, I'm not sure it would be worth it. I could write this FOMOD for the author; however, I really don't have any desire to do that for such a large mod. Final vote: No.
  3. I wonder if Sheson would be able to fix it? He did create the memory patch for Skyrim.
  4. Send them our way or upload them somewhere so we can take a look. We currently don't have anything to replace what we've lost due to authors deciding to drop out of modding and taking their mods with them.
  5. If I remember correctly, ENB creates some files if they aren't present even if they aren't being used. These files would be okay to leave there.
  6. Anyone running XP needs to upgrade. Developers stopping support for XP will become a common theme as time passes.
  7. I actually found all this out just yesterday while looking deeper into the DROPS mod. I've very interested.
  8. So my official recommendation for this is to add this mod into STEP Core (256 or 512 alternative texture) and hide the ripple files so that RWT's files are used. RWT's ripples look much better, but this mod's droplets are far better than vanilla. There is a very slight, but barely noticeable quality difference by using 512x over 256x textures with no performance difference on my system. So I'm recommending the 512x version.
  9. Just browsing in TES5Edit to see if there were any conflicts with Skyrim Friction Fix when I seen a conflict I think AOS.esp hasn't forwarded from the USKP. Explosion >> 0010FBE9 ExplosionFireBoltExpert01 It looks like AOS made the bolt explosion have no sound where it does have sound in vanilla and USKP. Should this be forwarded in the STEP Patches?
  10. Nope, check the VIP thread.
  11. No problem. I've been ignoring those ungratefuls. The new version will be out today. I'm just waiting on one thing and it'll be done.
  12. Just so everyone is aware, the vanilla texture size is x256.
  13. What is your ingame brightness set to? Your monitor brightness might also affect this.
  14. If it's part of the particles patch, I doubt it'll matter. That patch mainly fixes issue with lighting on the vanilla meshes. DROPS is not the vanilla mesh.
  15. That does sound like the best solution.
  16. Just copy and paste the YouTube link into the editor. The forum will parse the link and display the video.
  17. Discussion thread: DROPS by ramccoid Wiki Link Author Thread Another good mod from ramccoid. This mod retextures the drops which are seen dripping in dungeons and caves. The splash and ripple effect from these drops have also been retextured. It's available in x256, x512, x1024 and x2048 sized textures. Here's a video of the effect (Hodilton at his finest again): I've marked this one for Testing. I think it'll be a quick test and addition into STEP. Accepted for 2.2.9.1 Core STEP recommends Drops v1 optional file (the fomod) with these options:DROPS - x512DROPS - Alternative texture for x512Hide the following files: textures\effects\fxwaterdropripplestile.ddstextures\effects\fxwaterdropripplestile_less.ddstextures\effects\fxwaterdropripplestilebrt.dds
  18. Go to forum and click on the thread to open it. It'll try to download a file. Choosing to open the file simply opens the thread in a new tab in Firefox.
  19. I get the same behavior. I have no idea. This is something for S4N.
  20. Sounds like a permissions issue. Make sure you have full permissions for the folders where MO is installed. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Skyrim_Installation#Security_Settings
