Prad.de helped me quite a bit when researching my current monitor. As did just general google searches. The ASUS model number end with certain letters and you'll want to avoid some of these. Problem is, it's been so long since I did that research that I can't remember which letters to avoid to tell you. You'll just have to dig in and do some good ol'research. I literally researched nearly every component in my case before making a decision on it. That takes a lot of time; however, the end result is well worth it.

SKYRIMLE Campfire - Complete Camping System (by Chesko)

I can agree with the arrow. If there is anything in game that is also in real life, I prefer it to be realistic and match what I'd expect in real life. With that said, on the cooking of the beef, you really don't need salt to cook beef. Sure it'll make it taste better but it's not necessary. -
fresh install with 4K and Titan X noob help
TechAngel85 replied to Snowelf12's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Not necessarily. ENBoost is mainly for those users who don't have enough VRAM and for those that hit the 3.1GB memory limit. It's good practice to use it anyway but it's not necessary for some users like myself. I do use it even though I don't need to. -

With 12GB of VRAM, he doesn't need ENBoost. I don't even need it with a STEP only install on my 4GB card. -
The 27" Asus I linked has a 5ms response time. 5ms or below is my standard for gaming. Mine has 5ms and I never see any ghosting/tracking. If you do a lot of FPS games them you'll want to aim around 3ms or lower as those are faster pace games.

The DP masks were new and had some issues. We can probably take another look now. Faster arrows can be done when making your Bashed Patch in the tweaks section so no need to use that optional. -
What aiyen said about the 27" and 1080 resolution. You're getting close to "TV monitor" territory there. I recommend 16:9 because most people use their monitor for more than gaming. Movies, working, etc and most people are already used to that radio due to it being more standard for electronics these days...TVs, cellphones, laptops, tablets, etc.

fresh install with 4K and Titan X noob help
TechAngel85 replied to Snowelf12's question in General Skyrim LE Support
ENBoost is not needed for a stable game if you have the memory. I can run STEP just fine without it. All I can say about the next release is soon. We're waiting on two mods to be tested more thoroughly before we release. -
I'd go with 16:9. I looked up my monitor: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236205 That monitor will suit your needs well. However, if you want to go up to the next resolution past x1080 then you need to be prepared to spend some money. I have to say those, this monitor is excellent and not too expensive. It looks like you're wanting a bigger size though. Here is a bigger size Asus that seems just as good on the surface though I haven't done the research on it like I did on my monitor so I can't say much: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236294

I might sound insensitive; however, we aren't that concerned with conflicts with Packs with most mods. RS has the fewest conflicts out of all the lighting mods and it is very simple to instruct users to uninstall it before using a specific pack. Uninstalling it causes no issues so it's fair game in my book. I think you're not going to get exactly what you want unless you go with your custom solution; however, you can create a new profile in MO and test out the RS + ELE combination to see how you like it. It's not perfect, but it's far better than vanilla and far more natural. -
Hence the app...

I'll had MO open for at least two weeks before without issue. Only time I restart my computer is after driver or Windows updates. -
I have an Asus IPS panel and couldn't be happier with it! Spent about $140 on it. Very good quality.

Copy is the way to go and you don't have to install the app if you don't want to but it makes it convenient having it. As for the images on the forums, the code is: [ img= image link ] You don't need the url part for it to work.
-
Fixed the images. You used the link button on the interface rather than the image button or something. You did this: It just needs to be this: Edit: Well, I fixed the code, but you linked to the thumbnails rather than the image. I fixed a couple of them so you can see the difference. I'd do the rest but I have to head to work. @Moderators If Mangaclub needs some assistance, please correct the images. Thanks!

A few non-vanilla changes here and there is to be expected with any lighting mods. RS is simply the one that stays closes to vanilla which is why it's being considered over ELFX. ELFX makes a lot (I mean a lot!) of non-vanilla changes which I discovered during my testing with the STEP Lighting Overhaul Pack. ELFX is a great solution and might be the one used in that Pack; however, RS is the right solution for the STEP Guide. Those changes you listed above sound great! I can't wait! The ELE-Weathers is also very subtle in that shot. Will have to check that out when it's released. -
Sorry, on Tapatalk and updated my post. Star wars...divorce...Star wars...divorce...Star wars...divorce... Think think think. Haha!

Holy Moses! That looks amazing! I grew up on these films so it would be awesome to play a game of that quality based partially off the original movies. I had heard of this game before but blew it off, "oh another star wars game...eh." But this looks great! I haven't enjoyed a star wars game since Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) which I still have both games on my shelf.

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx

Yes, we'll have options to download and install the already made files for STEP users and provide details for those users who need to make the files themselves. -

I couldn't agree more! The same thing happened with IcePenguin for A Quality World Map. The author is using a non-standard .CS script for installation instead of a FOMOD. I told the author of the odd way that MO users were presented with this mod installation if they previously had the mod installed and was updating it. From that conversation, IcePenguin added a short and simple instruction to the Nexus mod page for MO users. Cooperation is the best way to go! "Everybody wins." -

Yeah, we really need to go over the interiors to check things out. I still have plans to check out all interiors. Just need some time to do it. I'll post any issues that I might as well. @ZawZ Thanks for those images. That is proper lighting and proof that ELE-Lite IL is most needed! I have it installed now with my testing. -

Yeah you are definitely not following the current Guide. Those mods are way out of order. 12GBs of VRAM??? Wow! You probably don't need ENBoost but I'd still do the SKSE memory fix. -

TechAngel85 replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
So...you're saying we don't need to use your version for DLCs? It says on the mod page to use your version which is why I mentioned it above. STEP uses legendary versions of mods where possible to keep the number of ESPs to a minimum. So RS main file, your DLC legendary file, and ELE-Lite IL is what I've been testing with. -
