  1. You mess and Smash. I'll follow your lead. Haha!
  2. I have this mod open in a tab to update the page. Just have a lot going on right now. I'll get to it soon, if no one else does.
  3. This has come up several time before and the answer is to always RTM. Learning to use MO and it's functions is part of the process and we all had to do. That's why we have the MO manual on the wiki. We want to teach users rather than just tell them what do it. This has always been the stance of STEP. The Guide is 100x easier to use than it was when it was just a PDF! I've actually not seen this issue crop up in a long time. We should be linking to documentation during our support so the user knows it's there and learns on their own.
  4. Cool. Noted. At least I learned something along the way!
  5. I do know that, but was under the assumption that those characters weren't passed through correctly and was the reason we from the {{{1}}} to the {{{text|}}} format on a lot of the templates. Perhaps it was other characters that weren't working...
  6. Discussion topic: CustomTag Template
  7. Two things: I added the ability to bold the text to this template. It's implementation requires the "bold" text to be in the third position. Else we would have to edit all instances of this template. I tried to get a {{#if}} to work using a "fontWeight=x" parameter but couldn't manage it, couldn't figure it out, or the wiki didn't like the nesting. I added a "Template" prefix to this forum so that we can start tagging the template threads properly and making them easier to find.
  8. Discussion topics: Template:Fc Template:Fs
  9. User's choice. Explanation here.
  10. We leave that choice up to the user whether or not they want to merge. If they for some reason want a profile without WAF, it's much simpler to just untick the patch rather than having to hide assets, move plugins in or out of Optional ESPs, etc, etc. With that said, I merge all the mod's addons, optionals, and patches (besides Content Addon) because I wouldn't play without WAF or most of the STEP mods with any setup. But there are plenty of users that would play without them (Pack users for example) and would want to keep the patches and addons separate.
  11. It's implied to download the main file when no other file is specified.
  12. Okay. Dropped for STEP v2.10.0.
  13. Haven't tried since. I was hoping Ess or Z would try. I'll try it again in the morning.
  14. Most parallax mods require ENB settings to be turned on that STEP doesn't support. Doubt we ever will, but who knows.
  15. It's included in The Ruffled Feather now so just need some compares.
  16. Agree. Dropped for STEP v2.10.0
  17. You should probably read this: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBlocal_INI/Memory We recommend those being turned off because STEP doesn't use presets. User have to change those two settings if they're wanting to use an ENB Preset. 4064 would be the correct value if you are running Windows 10. This is basically just turning off the SweetFX injection. I don't recommend using SweetFX, but some presets do include it for various reasons. If it's just used for AA, then use SMAA instead. But SweetFX could be used for further color corrections, sharpening effects, AA, etc so I don't recommend leaving it off if this isn't the issue. If it is, changing ENB Presets is going to be your easiest fix.
  18. I have no idea. I've never used that tool because it's not used for STEP.
  19. Agree that it should be dropped this next round. Need to clean up the Guide as much as possible.
  20. If you're using a merged patch from the script or Mator Smash, then custom patching isn't needed. Though to get the right results with that tool might take some tweaking from what I hear. You can leave the entire SFSM mod out. It's not really needed with DynDOLOD. The only benefit it is really providing are some placements of the windmills on the mills so that they don't clip/hit NPCs. That page hasn't been updated in nearly two years so I don't know how accurate it will still be.
  21. No keep both. That's just an instruction so that you install the option in the installer.
  22. What are your system specs? RAM and VRAM?
