  1. Np. The normal is up in the air. Depends how it looks in the game. If it looks okay, you can leave it. If it looks off in any way, try hiding it and check again.
  2. Hide the Vurt_* textures in Trees HD.
  3. I've used this in my personal setup for a while now and will not be uninstalling them. Vote for Core!
  4. This one is really a no-brainer as soon as you see the difference in-game. Vote for Core.
  5. The dark texture on the wall is what is throwing everyone off. True it even contrasts in vanilla sharply. Would like something that blended a bit better with the surrounding textures while still being its own feature.
  6. You want to vote against your own mod?
  7. I've split off the off topic to here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/10900-texture-compare-and-other-critiques/?do=findComment&comment=172037 Back to the testing... I had some time so I ran around Skyrim in various locations and interiors looking at and watching the NPCs. The final version of this mod is spot on for the vanilla lighting now and the deviations from vanilla here and there on some of the detailing is nothing that I would consider to keep it from being Core material. I endorse this for Core. This would also cover a large group of missing overhauled textures for STEP. I encourage all the staff interested in testing to download the 2K-1K version and run around the game for a bit to observe the new textures for proper voting. We've already agreed for keeping our current mage clothing so that is covered. I've also looked at Skyrim HD and didn't care for those couple textures vs this mod. Here's some quick and dirty shots of a few textures in their "natural environments": STEP (aka vanilla/HRDLC) >> Rustic Clothing
  8. Sheson has made DynDOLOD stop processing if it detects this mod installed.
  9. Thanks for this! I'm doing some dialogue right now to finish up a quest and could use a voice actor. I'll be posting in that thread when I'm ready.
  10. There are about 608 files not being provided by other mods. Removing it is entirely up to you.
  11. Thanks for the suggestion. I've debated the same stance in the past but was outvoted on this one. Seems the masses want pretty, shiny new coins.
  12. Can you PM Ess about this. I'm on my phone or I would. He has some suggestions that he's been trying to get submitted for a while now.
  13. It was a recent change. Ess isn't great at remembering that stuff, but we love him anyway.
  14. It's been included in the Compilation at the end of the Guide. The separate standalone mod can now be found on the STEP Nexus page.
  15. This. We'll provide our own preset files for the mods that support it. The MCM wiki page is because we're recommending those mods without recommending settings. This has been something we needed to fix for a good while now. So that's the first step to getting those settings fleshed out and recommended for the STEP users.
  16. Yeah, that's plenty. I'll do the work to add it tomorrow if no one beats me to it. It takes a good 10-15 mins to completely add a new mod when it's all set and done...ModList, Changelog, Forum OP, add Boilerplate, fill out mod page form..I'm too lazy tonight.
  17. Confirmed. I've updated the mod page. The main Guide will update at its next refresh cycle.
  18. Sweet! Going to need new compares!
  19. Besides the reasons you listed, we also dropped it because it makes DynDOLOD easier to manage and it provides little benefit to the user. The effects are rarely noticed.
  20. We don't normally require them to be case sensitive because users lazy. Unless it's something that specifically requires capitalization, don't make them case sensitive.
  21. Type into Google "move Steam installation". You'll find what you need. I'm on my phone, sorry, limited support.
