It is known! but seriously, be careful if you use Epic Gameplay/Civil War Overhaul, from what I gather from Apollodown's posts this can cause issues.
-
So, save often and keep a deep archive of previous saves? Encounter fatal issue, rollback as needed? Or start a new playthrough and use Deadly Dragons MCM feature to make important npcs essential?
-
Correct, you could use Basic instead, drops textures still safe with Serenity (and Extended works fine IMHO, but that's just my take).
-
Non-vanilla papyrus settings are evil, this is known Khaleesi.
-
Real Rain Extended 5.0, Optional drops type B extra thin, Real rain ripples (which look great btw, even at night).

Check out this 12 minute video from the Cambridge crew from Moon Collider showing off their AI for Star Citizen in the Crye Engine. Eve? I think not.

Safe to remove, is anything (besides textures)? You better ask someone more knowledgable than me to get an educated answer on that. I'm a complulsive restarter, in fact I may never get past 30-something in levels. I have high hopes for my current playthrough/mod order though, this may just be the one.
-
Me too, SPP per STEP overwritten by SNOW and the dandelions (my bad thought Leaves was the dandelions).
-
Yup, that's the one. I went with that (I gathered from forum posts that prod80 likes what I like enb-wise) without testing his other presets. I've been happy so far (kinda bright for my taste indoors Bleak Falls Barrow, I would prefer being forced to use torch/lantern, perfect outdoors at night), especially with the performance gain (the step up to 5.0 full/opt still seems better than 4.2 perf). Back on topic: I noticed a blue/purple tint to mist/particles in Bleak Falls Barrow foyer (first interior chamber) near ceiling. It may have been due to my removing Skyrim Performance Plus - Snow FX (there is 1 .dds file not replaced by ramccoid's SNOW) or the Real Rain Optional Drops file I chose (the bluest/for enb). When I replaced SPP - Snow FX (overwritten by SNOW in my install order, Wrye/BAIN) and selected the middle Real Rain Optional Drops the issue was resolved (sorry for non-scientific approach here). If you uninstall SPP - Snow FX in favor of SNOW and encounter a missing snow texture, this may be it (just install SPP - Snow Fx & overwrite with SNOW, of replace the vanilla snowsub.dds file from backup). tl;dr Get SNOW & Leaves by ramccoid, definitely worthwhile IMHO.

I just updated to v5 with the prod80 final cut preset, noticeable performance improvement from 4.2 (I have switched up to 5.0 "full/optimized" from 4.2 "performance"). I notice no issues with Real Clouds, the recent update seems to have solved it's issues. I love the sheet lightning effect, I also run minty's lightning with it to add a bit of danger with hostile lighting strokes.

I am using the 1024 flakes with particle patch compatibility. (SNOW v1 x1024-52986-1-0, SNOW v1 x1024 flakes-52986-1-0, SNOW v1 Skyrim Particle Patch compatibilty-52986-1-0). I just overwrite the Skyrim Performance Plus files (fxsnowsub.dds isn't replaced for instance). tl;dr - regular flakes. I'm also using his Leaves/Dandelion Seeds 512. Add Real Rain, Real Clouds and Dramatic Clouds for an excellent weather experience (with Serentiy ENB and its enb weather & mist if you're feeling really adventurous).
-
I'm enjoying this quite a bit, I recommend trying it and seeing if it doesn't improve your experience (it's just meshes & textures so safe to swap in/out with a manager). It may not be real world perfect, but its definitely a marked improvement on what I had before.

Impressed with the progress you are making, I was skeptical before, now hopeful for a more "Better Males" type solution.

ACCEPTED Gemling Queen Jewelry (by Saerileth)
redirishlord replied to CJ2311's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Reminds me very much of Wrye Musings (but that is another thread of course), seems like Morrowind had a more "cathedral" feel and these days things are much more "parlor". Glad you were able to answer your own question, good luck with the tedium. -
Great report, I pleased to hear this as I too have the 512 dandelion seeds installed but haven't ranged far enough afield to see them yet. I have the 1024 snow installed and I like that very much, thanks ramccoid, nice work. https://i1330.photobucket.com/albums/w568/redirishlord/TESVexe_DX9_20140416_062813RamccoidSnowandSerenity_zps283d1d8e.png~originalhttps://i1330.photobucket.com/albums/w568/redirishlord/TESVexe_DX9_20140416_062813RamccoidSnowandSerenity_zps283d1d8e.png~original Reaching back further in the post, you might consider 2k interior/exterior texture sets Garfink. I fail to notice a meaningful difference between 2k and 4k myself (of course I'm viewing on a desktop monitor, your results may vary), although the performance hit with 4k textures in the mix is significant (for me at least, although these days enb memory management seems to be the great equalizer). A more featured enb preset (like Serenity and its various presets) may be a better use for your surplus performance.

Is this in reference to maintaining archive invalidation, and the graphical issues with Robert's body textures? I find myself having to launch FOMM and archive validate/invalidate periodically, but haven't spent much time trying to find a better solution. Of course, as a Wrye/BAIN user I'll still need to translate the above into something that works with my mod manager.
-
Excellent news, I'll remove Skyrim Performance Plus snow module and keep the others so the Rift stays manageable.
-
Wrye/BAIN shows no conflicts with Snow FX for ENB's 3 meshes (& the conflicts with the particle patch for enb are resolved by SNOW's compatibility patch). The snow on the ground outside the Helgen intro dungeon looked good with this under Serenity's lighting (still tweaking my load order/patches before actually seriously playing). Edit: after reading your next post I see that I missed the SNOW 1024 flakes are overwriting Skyrim Performance Plus' snowflakes textures. Once I get up to Bleak Barrow I'll see how my performance fares and decide whether to keep the 1024 flakes, or the high performance texture.

SKYRIMLE Skyrim High Definition LODs (by tamu75)
redirishlord replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
"DYEMB" you should definitely reinstall FNV and try "SRB"s guide, you will be very surprised how the game plays with new advances like 4gb & NVSE w/ memory patch 3.0 features. Kuldebar: amazing image, though I'm more than a bit overwhelmed by the LOD nomenclature, certainly love to see Skyrim look like this. -
GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
redirishlord replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
EssArrBee: Nice list, downloading (those I haven't already) now. Tales seems pretty straightforward (I've had it installed, but haven't played any missions yet). Someguy's mods seemed problematic from what I'd read, he left the series unfinished? Looking forward to hearing your take on the Someguy mods as he seems very well regarded by the forums. WilliamImm: Thanks again for your continued BOSS work, really makes my (virtual) life easier. -
Live interview with Erin Roberts of Foundry 42, Manchester at PAX East ,lots of great details on Star Citizen specifics and his views re- working for community backers vs working for puplisher. Thanks to Geekdomo for this great get. Amazing how much is being incorporated into this game, can't wait to start playing. Speaking to that, backers can expect to begin playing the dogfighting alpha early next month, the first chapter (10 missions) of five (50 missions total) of the single player campaign available beginning of 2015. The full persistent universe opens after the final single player chapter is released.

redirishlord replied to CJ2311's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
but, I thought it was the club for you & I, M. I. C. K. E. Y. Mickey mouse, sing it with me. and now it can't be unheard either. Back on topic, I'm thrilled that great modders/mods I am already enjoying are collaborating, great work is sure to follow. Thanks you both for your contributions to Skyrim, they are appreciated. -
ACCEPTED Gemling Queen Jewelry (by Saerileth)
redirishlord replied to CJ2311's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Outstanding, as I was unable to choose a favorite myself. Does this mean an additional variant craftable through CCOR? Because even more variation is even better, or am I assuming too much? -
Correct, the armors have their own mesh that overwrites the body replacer, therefore you need custom armors made for the specific body replacer. I think your best bet is to look for some vanilla body compatible cosmetic mods (an XCE replacer that gives a Better Males look for women), and save the body replacers for their own packs (CBBE, UNP, CNHF - when it has better armor support). Just my 2 septims worth, and your dedication to empirical evidence and rigorous analysis is appreciated & respected. Edit: re- the next post, perfect vanilla solution, kudos. For extra credit, sort the replacer pack options ;-)

Nice work. I've added Vetrheim (not a Telvanni tower, but a worthy addition to the Grey Quarter) and Riverside Ranch. Thanks for the tips.
