The Blades: Improving the Story
CJ2311 replied to p4ck3tl055's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
You should give it a try... not Every single right click you make on an object in the CK can cause a dirty edit. Every single right click you make with the snap to angle option will cause a wild edit that can't be fixed automatically by TES5Edit. I guess that's why a lot of mods are full of dirty edits... -
Neither. Well, A is correct, but in both screenshots your load order is wrong when it comes to the Unofficial Skyrim Patches.
-
Yes to both questions. If you use the same mod in two profiles, any change you make to the mod itself will affect both profiles. Unless you have installed the mod twice of course.
-
I can't say I know what's causing your problem, but here's all I can tell you: The Unofficial - Skyrim Misc Patches Collection is not condoned by the Unofficial Skyrim Patches team, so I would tend to stay away from it, just to be on the safe side (Also, . And Unique Region Names isn't compatible with Hearthfires, according to the author. Plus it tends not to be compatible with a lot of mods.See the last few posts of this thread to know why you shouldn't be using it unless you know how to patch it manually.EDIT: Also, you can have a look at this page for details about SMPC.

The Blades: Improving the Story

Just for the record, this particular kind of patching can't be done in TES5Edit, unless you're some kind of maths genius. It is however fairly easy to do in the CK :) -

Ah yes, I sometimes forget to mention the things that have become obvious for me, like the fact that it's always preferable to take out all of the items you have placed in custom cells before updating them. Sorry, force of habit, you know :p Those trees are added by Dawn of Windhelm, I agree that they do look out of place with that version of SFO though. The tower in the background with the ugly texture is there in the vanilla game however, I'm not sure why it looks that bad for you... Maybe some kind of messed up mesh from Project Parallax? (Just a wild guess)The red windmill from Solitude is the result of using SMIM, that's a new feature in the latest version: adding sails to the windmills, Whiterun has yellowish ones IIRC, probably to make them match the city's banners. For the esp count, you could always give the Merge plugin for TES5Edit by mator a try, I'm currently at more than 300 esps thanks to that :p -

I know what you mean bro, also trying to finish my guide before starting The Stick of Truth and Thief 4 :|PSA: Don't go writing guides, people. STEP taught us that it's a bad thing to do -
The Blades: Improving the Story
CJ2311 replied to p4ck3tl055's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Here you go, all 4 FaTT esps cleaned, plus a patch for Helgen Reborn: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w5xlsb6zch3wx7w/Fight%20Against%20the%20Thalmor%20Cleaned%20%2B%20Patch.rar I've not had time to test the patch since I just made it, but there's no reason whatsoever for it not to work, since it's basically the same process as what I've been doing the last weeks with REGS :p Ignore the BOSS warning about deleted navmeshes. EDIT: Don't know if anyone downloaded this prior to this edit, but if so, you'd better download it again. -

Recruit More Blades - SkyHavenTempleEnchanced just had a long overdue update, which actually means I'll be reinstalling it and that my previous post about it isn't valid any more. I guess I'll also try to make a patch for Helgen reborn + fight the thalmor as well to get a full experience, so let me know if you want the patch too (: Otherwise, you can just this mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41704/? ) if what you want is just to have more blades. -
[Solved] Early CTD when any ENB dll is used on clean system

Well sorry then, I wish I could help but that's all I can think of :| -
[Solved] Early CTD when any ENB dll is used on clean system
CJ2311 replied to DanielCoffey's question in Post-Processing Support
Well I don't see anything wrong with it :/ The only suggestions I have would be to try and change "ReservedMemorySizeMb=128" to 256 or 64 Of course it could be simply that you're running some program that tries to hook into the game itself, like MSI afterburner's FPS counter, Fraps, or DXTory. I had to disable DXtory's fps counter for the game to work with ENB. -

Damnit, between this and your guide, you're really pushing me to play FNV again, but I don't have time with all these new games and the Skyrim stuff :( -

It might be the [Memory] section of your enblocal.ini, I get similar crashes whenever I forget to update that to the values required for my GPU. Mind posting the contents of the ini? -
Cannot install REGS custom esp files on mod organizer
CJ2311 replied to Aaronp2k's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Use the fomod installer by Tannin, not the Nexus Mod Manager one. How-to: Click the Settings button in MO (The icon with a wrench and a screwdriver). Click the Plugins tab. Select "Fomod Installer" in the list. Double click on "enabled" and set it to "true". Double click on "prefer" and set it to "true". Hit OK, and install the REGS patch. Don't know why it's not working with the NMM installer to be honest, especially considering the actual NMM handles the "typeDescriptor" just well :| -

Much better than what Improved Gemstone Claws does, imo. Instant addition for me. -

Truth is, I had not even noticed there was a retex for the lockpicks, just the lock, since I only watched the video he linked in his description (and yes, there's custom sounds in the mod too, I'll let you guess which kind) -

Well, now that the forums are back up, I'd like to point that I released a hotfix for the ETaC replacer, seeing as how I forgot to turn back into an esp (plugins need to be flagged as an esm to load properly as masters in the CK, for some silly reason) Thanks, always happy to know we've managed to improve someone's game :) I noticed this from the changelog,[*]Hotfix for the ETaC - Complete.esp replacer which was falsely flagged as a master. But I still get the same message from BOSS after installing the new version. Edit: err, not even sure if this has anything to do with the BOSS message, just thought I'd mention it. Edit 2: After looking at my load order a little more, it looks like this message was caused by Wyrmstooth.esp, which is false-flagged as an ESM (which is intentional, I'm guessing). This was causing some my Skyproc patches to have their masters sorted incorrectly, but I was able to fix it by sorting the masters using TES5Edit. Well, the old version could have caused this problem, but it was indeed fixed with the hotfix, so I don't really know what could be causing that, maybe you have an outdated unofficial patch? Wyrmstooth is supposed to be a master btw, so I doubt the problem comes from that... -

CJ2311 replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Yup, it was a whiterun themed house in Morthal... Not only does it not fit architecture-wise, but it also doesn't even have snow on it :/ I have no idea how it'll look since it depends on the lightning mods you're running. Look at it yourself ingame if you want to know. -

Nothing wrong with IS, except the fact that it adds new houses that don't have interiors, and the fact that the mod's permissions are too limited. -

They WILL work, they just won't use the new lights : -

CJ2311 replied to CJ2311's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Nah, what I'm saying is that ETaC will no longer have floating lights and similar stuff when using ELFX. It still won't use the new ELFX light sources for new interiors though, that would take way more time than I'm ready to spend to implement, especially if I have to do it with every lighting mod. -

:DYou know, if you said from the start that you just wanted to know what every file did in detail rather than ask question by question, it would've saved us all some time
