  1. Have you tried running a pristine MO profile with only Dawn of Whiterun activated? I'm talking 100% clean here, not even USKP. That would determine if the issue really stems from DoW or if it's actually some sort of incompatibility/coincidence.
  2. Here's a screenshot of the filter settings I tend to use:
  3. The first one isn't water, it's oil, so that's normal :p
  4. I think it was me who didn't explain well :P What I meant is that the "preparation" phase is something I really don't adhere to, somehow I don't see my sorcerer running after a deer with a flame spell to get some septims. I tried to do some menial tasks to get some money and training, but running from town to town while avoiding packs of wolves that would devour me got boring really fast... It's a shame too, because everything else about Requiem is appealing, it's just that it has the worst low level gaming potential I've ever seen in a game :|
  5. There's no tool or script for that, but you can simply load all your load order in TES5Edit, right click one of them, and select "Apply Filter". I don't remember the filter settings off the top of my head, but if you still have the default settings it should be easy: in the top left corner, uncheck "Single Record" and "Override without conflict" This'll hide everything that's not conflicting, and will make checking for conflicts much easier :)
  6. Much better now, good job (:
  7. I had not noticed that there were option to control archery damage alone, only the global damage modifier D: Ah well that probably means the mod is not for me then, I don't like hunter-type characters, and it would be kinda weird for my mage to start farming or hunting I assumed from it being called The Roleplaying Overhaul that it would enable you to play as in an old school rpg, where even if you start with close to nothing, it's still enough to defeat enough enemies to advance without having to farm gear :|
  8. Hey Smile, I tried playing Skyrim with Requiem a couple times already, but always ran in the same stupid issue with it: Crossbows and bows are really overpowered. So I just have a question for you: does it stay that way all game long, or does it change? Because I was never able to keep on playing past level 10 what with all the bandits one shotting me with an arrow from 50km. It really seemed like the only valid build for Requiem was to go for Heavy Armor + Archery tbh...
  9. I was just joking about the buying PS part guys, hence the smiley And don't worry about the CK part of modding, it's really easy, you'll get the hang of it in 2 days top :)
  10. D: It's a bright blue now, still with non legible text, and still stands out, which is something you definitely don't want when ignoring posts imo :P
  11. IPB devs are silly and decided to remove any kind of user options with version 3.2, so yeah... In 3.1.4 (I think that's the version anyway), it was possible for each user to choose the number of replies per thread, but then IPB admins decided that rather than make a proper system to link individual posts, they'd just make the option global... Idiots.
  12. Wait, you mean there's people who actually buy Photoshop, not just companies? On a more serious note: How many books do you plan to make for this mod? And do you plan on splitting the longer books into separate volumes? Because some books in the Tamriel Compendium mod did slow down the game a bit with their 30 pages+...
  13. Yes, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to know what was changed by looking at the changelog tab.
  14. Meh, only towns that are far from a water source would have a use for a well, it's much simpler to just a fill a bucket at the river and boil it than to dig a well in the first place.
  15. Actually, those multi threading INI tweaks are more likely to **** up Havok, Boris (the creator of the ENB series) said that some of these tweaks caused items to go flying off when dropped or something like that, but I can't find the thread in which he mentioned it.
  16. It is okay as long as you don't catch droops on Solstheim (Only the ash hoppers can cause you to catch the disease) So yeah, by staying in Skyrim you'll be 100% fine. If you go to Solstheim, make lots of backup saves to revert to in case you get that disease.
  17. I'm afraid I can't let you do that, Kyle. I'll post a screenshot below to explain why my override might not suit everyone, and what should probably be done instead. Yep, that's what I'm saying, and no need to look for a solution, I already did, and the IPB admins basically say to "deal with it" whenever someone criticizes the ignore function. (And there are no plugins either) Here's what it looks like when I stumble upon an ignored post: What I did was to entirely remove that white section, but some people (moderators for example) might want to still know that there's a post by an ignored user there, so maybe changing it so it just takes less place and is less ugly would suit people more. For example: .post_ignore { background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #373F49; /* Maybe not the best color, but I cba to scour the CSS to get the rest of the colors of this theme, it should be easier to do on your side*/ color: #B2B1B0; font-size: 0.8em; /* Text was too big, and it's color mismatched the rest of the forum*/ padding: 10px; border: 1px solid #1B1B1B; margin-bottom: -1px; /* This is here in case the ignored post is not the last post in the discussion, so it'll overlap with the top border of the next post, so there won't be a double border*/ }Which gives this result, which is already less of an eyesore: Damn, Windows' snipping tool and image quality really do not rhyme together...
  18. AFAIK, modders are the ones who request that their mods be removed when they're banned (unless the mod is removed for copyright infringement or some other reason)Otherwise the mod just stays there by default.
  19. I must say the IPB ignore feature sucks though, all new posts by ignored members still count when checking the new content page, and you get a big annoying bright white space instead of any ignored post... Thankfully the second part was fixable with a simple CSS override.
  20. Oakwood & Laintar Dale do not require cleaning actually, the deleted navmeshes in them are actually caused by bethesda, in their hearthfires.esm
  21. REGS is compatible with STEP Extended and Weather and Lighting by Smile44 but if you're going to install requiem, then do not install the "Realistic Room Rental Enhanced" mod that's featured in REGS. Everything else should be fine...
  22. Heh, I'm already using all of these in their standalone form. This should reduce my modlist's length greatly :D
  23. Could you please install MFG Console and select the clipping items ingame with it in order to check which ESP added or moved that chair? For now I'm trying to finish South Park: The Stick of Truth. Adding the FaTT mods as well as replacing the Sky Haven Temple mod are already planned, because I've done these quests partly in the past and know they're good quality. Will also add the ORS mods by mannyGT and MurderWrath (their patch is already included in the installer) as well as Manny's Temple of Black Rock mod, even though I haven't had the time to play any of them yet (I'm making an exception here, because mannyGT's mods are always good :P ) The problem with quest mods though is that they take to test and check out. I could easily just shove a list of promising mods that I've not played yet, but what if they actually turn out to be pretty bad, or buggy? :|
  24. Well, I suppose you could use the original Adal Matar file then, I don't think any other mod changes that area anyway, so you shouldn't be having any CTD due to the 3 deleted navmeshes... The important thing is that the Frontier esp works, since that's the component that's conflicting with Helgen Reborn.
  25. Yeah, thanks zee
