  1. Interesting. I can't wait for the new version.
  2. Only there's no way to do that when you don't have any contact information when clicking on the donate button on Nexus.
  3. I was looking at my history and couldn't find anything. PayPal's interface is not the best one, too. Total amount: -$5.00 USD (equals -131.84 CZK) Fee amount: $0.00 USD Net amount: -$5.00 USD I am farly confused. Where do I find the fees then? If you were only using Steam for that, sure. All my games come from Steam, so any such protest wouldn't apply to me. In fact, I kind of like Steam. I used to hate the concept several years ago, but I guess the Judeo-Masonic conspiracy won, and now I actually find unified game launcher and library with automatic patching very, very convenient.
  4. Oh no, don't get me wrong, I know there were lots of normal people discussing this like human beings and not idiots (like here for example). The trouble is, they were in minority. It's the masses of whiners and loudmouths that "won". I really believe if it wasn't for them, paid mods would remain, possibly with just changes to the Workshop in future.
  5. More like what hundreds of whiners stupidly repeating "We deserve free mods and you are greeedy ******s omgz!!!11", because they simply read it somewhere, achieved. I don't want to rain on your parade, but the community, or at least what deserves to be called community, did nothing. It was just a case of tossing a bone to the masses. A huge one. Yup, same here. Too bad I can't afford to send a little something to all of the authors of mods I like the most. So it is over now, but people like Chesko and isoku got kicked in the ass once again. Not only did they get insulted and threatened like crazy, they won't see any of the money they made. That's disgusting. I can totally see them coming back to modding now. Awesome. I don't see any win-win here.
  6. Fortunately the 7 days ban is not working as intended.
  7. ...what? It only gets better and better.
  8. The example of AOS is disturbing. Like I said few pages ago: this is a damn dead end. And it's only going to get worse as more mods only get updates published on Steam. Goddamnit.
  9. So even if I run Skyrim's launcher through MO, files will still end up in data folder? Bleh, even bigger reason not to touch Steam.
  10. It's been working just fine here since yesterday.
  11. Another thing came to my mind. With a mod (or rather, a specific version) being exclusively on the Workshop, good luck gathering ANY feedback in order to fix bugs. The comments over there are absolutely useless, and even if 90% of them weren't about insults and death threats, the people there are mostly completely clueless and don't know much if anything about modding. Also, the whole format is totally unseless for any sort of dialogue. It's a bloody dead end even if there wasn't any money drama.
  12. LOL I love the pictures
  13. Krypto, are you reading here sometimes? I am puzzled why Content Addon has different folder structure than the Book of Silence. Specifically, the glass options. If you install the variants option, the folders are like so: \textures\armor\glass\ \textures\armor\Glassvariants\. However, when you install Content Addon, the files are sorted differently: \textures\AMB Variants\ \textures\armor\glass\ I am not 100% sure, but am I right in assumption that CA simply bundles all the BoS variants together under one plugin? It seems like in the case of glass armour, the variants option from BoS installs all 3 sets already, so the goal of CA (at least in this case) must be to simply unify this under just one plugin. Why does this matter to me, you might ask. I have recently installed an optional file from skysan4298's Transparent and refracting Glass Eqmnt CBBE UNP UNPB that makes Cabal's glass stuff, you know... transparent, and immediatelly started having weird problems with glass shields looking the same and then some. After some trial and error I eventually found out the folders didn't match those from BoS, and skysan wasn't aware of that at all. Furthermore, when I pointed him to the Content Addon file, he, probably not being a MO user or something, got confused and told me I am not sure how to proceed at this point, because apparently I've hit a wall between two very different approaches of managing mods.
  14. That's even worse than I "ever" imagined. I know Steam is crap and pain in the ass to navigate through, but that the mods themselves would be sub-par garbage, that's new. WTF. And the wallet thing? Who the hell had the bright idea to make it like that? I just want to pay with my CC. If I am not allowed to do that, shove the entire Workshop up your arseholes.
  15. No you are not. You are in a minority though. Most players probably don't pay attention to detail. I intentionally run around corners and edges and whatever, taking screenshots where appropriate and sending them to Brumbek in case he find the particular meshes worth tweaking.
  16. SkyUI is not even on Steam yet. I don't get it. edit: The Mardoxx guy is plain stupid. He constantly keeps trolling all the raging mases on reddit. WHY??
  17. I got it as well now. Either something went bananas or they updated something somewhere which doesn't work with MO.
  18. I have big doubts about what the "community" believes in, because right now it seems to say "we DESERVE everything free, we want it right now, and even if we get everything we want you still suxx blablabla". I really like what mardoxx said: " It doesn't apply to everyone, but it sure as hell looks like it's the way it is. Especially if you regularly read Nexus forums for at least two months time.
  19. I just wish things return to exactly the same state they were before. This **** is too much.
  20. What a moron. There are no other words.
  21. This is a nice video.
  22. I hope things will calm down in the next few weeks. I also hope authors will realize that hiding mods won't solve anything and will only hurt the players.
  23. Yup, we bought the little rascal about two months ago. Some people might say it's stupid to pay for a cat, but we can clearly see the advantages of a pure breed (and then some, because abyssinians are really exotic) over all those adopted ones that either grew up in bad conditions, were separated from their mothers in early age or whatever. This one doesn't bite, isn't scared of normal things and generally doesn't exhibit any sings of weird behaviour.
