  1. While it may not be needed to get it to run, it is still needed. I removed it completely, also tried "-laaexe", and also tried "-laaexe \FalloutnvMO.exe" (without the "."). None of those alternative methods worked properly. None of them will load ENB or my SMAA proxy. The only method that works properly is "-laaexe .\FalloutnvMO.exe".
  2. I haven't had this issue until now. I am at Nipton Road Pit Stop and there are Jackal Gang Members there. They become hostile, but don't attack. They run up to me and either stand there or crouch down. I killed one to look at it's inventory and it had weapons. Has anyone else experienced broken NPC behavior like this? EDIT: In this case, I fixed them by disabling and enabling them in the console. I hope this doesn't happen again though.
  3. How come the guide doesn't suggest doing this - does this mess anything else up?
  4. A long time ago (maybe 2 years) I was having HORRID FPS issues... I couldn't figure out what was the problem for a couple weeks. Then I decided to look at my hardware and found out that somehow my CPU heatsink had partially detached from my CPU. So I cleaned the surfaces, used an excellent thermal compound, re-set the heatsink onto the CPU. After doing that I got speeds I never had before. It made me wonder if my heatsink hadn't been always partially detached ever since I first started using it up until that point.
  5. No, I think it's the same as what I already posted about it.
  6. I do the same with my external webcam and mic - they are never pluggin in unless I'm using them.
  7. EDIT: Because you didn't show the full name of the water mod you are using, I was confused by what you had installed. The problem seems to be that maybe you have plugins out of order. Did you run LOOT to sort them?
  8. Hmm, actually... I think maybe it's come back to me. Check your "Archives" tab in the right panel of MO. I think maybe there are some BSAs not checked in the list? All should be checked. EDIT: Also, make sure your version of MO is greater than 1.2.18...
  9. This question has been answered a few times. I forget what the answer is but search around the forums for the answer - it is there.
  10. You should enable all plugins in the right window before creating (or re-creating) the Bashed Patch. Afterwards, only two plugins (mentioned in the guide under the Bashed Patch section) will be re-enabled manually by you.
  11. This seems to be a widely rampant issue - people using old versions of MO. Apparently it's due to the fact that the author of MO doesn't have the newest version at the top of the download list and lots of people aren't fastidious enough to realize this when they download.
  12. Cool - I was wondering why EssArrBee's MCM guide didn't include anything about enabling the Havok bounce. Makes sense. Thank you.
  13. 1) Manually ensure that all items (BSAs) in the archive tab are enabled (checked). 2) The master file download for the Bison Steve mod includes both a bsa and esm. The sortomatic optional file download for Bison Steve contains only an esm. The optional file should be merged into your installation of the master file in MO, which will overwrite the master file's esm. In the end, you should have one mod installed that includes the bsa from the master file download and the esm from the sortomatic optional file download.
  14. I have the same issue.
  15. I like the Weapon Wheel to use my mouse's wheel to scroll through weapons. I notice that if I'm in first-person view that this works all fine and dandy. The problem I am encountering is when I switch to third-person view. In third-person view, even if I am not holding down the change view key, the game wants to use the mouse wheel to control both the weapon wheel and the third-person zoom level at the same time. This is annoying. The way it could work better: If using the mouse wheel just changed the weapon selection if I am not also holding the change view key. But if I hold down the change view key, then using the mouse wheel would only change my third-person camera zoom level. Does anyone have any suggestions about this?
  16. B1 - I figured out that this has to do with the Cinematic Killcam Mode. I haven't got the Player View Killcam Mode to fire off so I don't know if that causes issues too, but I'm sure setting the Killcam Mode to Off will definitely prevent the irion sights issue from happening. I'm leaving mine set to Player View for now until I run into issues.

  18. B1 - Same problem. I'm stuck in varmint rifle iron sight, and it's incredibly frustrating. Have you figured out a way to resolve this issue permanently?
  19. I just started a new playthrough. I usually don't even get past walking outside Doc Mitchell's and checking FPS. Most of my time is spent modding the game rather than actually playing it. I decided to finally play it... So I talked to Sunny Smiles and she gave me a varmint rifle to assist her in hunting geckos. I set up, looked through my iron sights (set to right mouse button) and shot 2 geckos. After shooting them I release the right mouse button but remain in iron sights. I walk slow and cannot run. I try to put away my weapon (ready weapon set to 'R') and cannot. Does anyone know what might be causing this bug to occur, and how to fix it?
  20. Whatever the case, I updated the bashed patch instructions to account for the deactivation of the two .esps, instructing both to be reactivated after creation of the bashed patch. Let me know if the information in the guide for step 4 of the bashed patch creation is incorrect in any way.
  21. Supposedly the conversions are vanilla-style - in other words, none of that skimpy crap.
  22. When testing CBBE, did you ever see this clothing/armor conversion mod? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59960/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D59960%26preview%3D&pUp=1
  23. If they are tagged No Merge, then why does Wrye Flash even deactivate them? Is it an issue with Wrye Flash?
  24. Actually, I think it's smart to be concerned about viruses. As far as torrent go, one decent way of checking to see if a torrent has a virus is to look at the comments for the torrent (granted the site that hosts the torrent has a comments section). If there are a decent amount of comments from different people and no one mentions virus issues, or all virus issues are reported to be false positives, then I'd say it's good to get. As far as getting viruses from the Nexus - it is a very real issue. You don't even have to download anything. Just flipping through mod pages I have many times been alerted by my virus protection software that it had blocked various trojans and backdoors. I got tired of it, so I enabled "tracking protection" in my internet browser and that solved the problem. Of course, it blocks certain videos that I want to see sometimes, but as long as the video has a link to youtube or some other legit website I can click the link to view it from there.
