1. What I had to do in order to get the patcher to run once changing the path was to delete my PatchusMaximus.esp file and then run and everything went fine. Of course I am using 1.2.14 I don't ever upgrade MO except for like 2-4 weeks after a major update or if my version is a few months old.
2. PerMa runs best on Java 8 btw. I hear it's still faster at patching and I know that during the beta Java 7 hardly ever produced a proper patch for me at least YMMV. Also hink your problem is that MO is pointing to windows command line instead of the patcher. From your screenshot it looks like your path to the patcher itself is in the start in line. Click the button I circle in the picture below to browse to the locaton of your javaw.exe That's the old PerMa patcher... might explain a few of the issues I was having. Helping you helped me figure something out lol.
3. simoi have you tried deleting the contents of your ini files in MO and then running the Skyrim Launcher from MO and setting things tot he medium preset?
4. Are you editing the .ini's from within Mod Organizer?
5. I need to update my night sky to lorkans 2 or something (currently using lorkans vision 1).
6. Well to get more stability you'll need the ENBoost feature of either ENB or ENBoost. https://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost#Recommendations https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB#tab=ENBoost Make sure you have the Skyrim.ini and SkyrmPrefs.ini from here https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9#1.D._INI_Tweaks I recommend Skylight or Vividian https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB#Recommended_ENB_Presets https://wiki.step-project.com/Skylight_ENB https://wiki.step-project.com/Vividian_ENB
7. He's saying to modify the ENB files so you can get more performance out of it so you can run ENB at that resolution. Look at the ENB guide on the wiki or Aiyen's ENB guide PDF from Skyight ENB's page.
8. Well to be honest I can't remember right now why exactly it says 512 when you have 768 but I think it usually does your value - 256. EFF is Extensible Follower Framework.
9. Are you saying it wasn't good enough to run SKyrim smoothly with ENB or in general? If Vividian ENB or Skylight ENB are too performance intensive... then just use ENBoost it's really important to have nothing less than ENBoost.
10. No problem. Let us know if you have anymore issues.
11. Do not use Gamebooster. It's more trouble than it's work.
12. Details on the sound setup? I'm curious.
13. Here's the link to the ENB Guide which ou should read as well as Aiyen's guide from his Skylight page. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB As for shadows try some things like the stuff from here. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/3758-shadow-optimization/
14. W10 it is then! JK but no seriously I think it would be a good idea to organize a donation drive or something for him to get the OS and maybe a second card. I mean you see these Youtubers like MxR or Gopher, etc getting new equipment for their videos sometimes paid for by users but has Boris ever been offered the same?
15. Mangaclub really seems to dislike the new feature. WE need to petition Boris to switch to W7 or W8, no W10! :P
16. I'm using it as well as SFO and setting the grass size high like GoS for denser grass and somewhat better perfoormance. Gopher did a Skylight on it but admitted he hadn't tried out many grass mods in a while.
17. First. Make sure your SKSE (Sheson) Memory Patch is functioning correctly. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/6726-common-ctds-freezes-ils-and-memory-issues/ If it is working correctly and you're still having issues please post your enblocal.ini in spoilers like so:
Text here
Other than that it may just be that you installed uninstalled too many mods, or did not do enough conflict resolution or that the save games are as you said too bloated for whatever reason.
18. Well see if your vanilla framerates are acceptable by disabling ENB with Shift-F12 if they are then do the following. First lower your shadow settings, then if that's not enough edit the ENB files as per Aiyen's guide from his ENB page or the ENBSeries INI guide on the wiki I'd do both.
19. After all of the deactivations you have been redoing your bashed patch and such right? Also as a desperation option try backing up your save and running something like save game script scalpel.
20. I fixed it. Turned out it was PerMa it wasn't remaking the patch fully or something so I deleted the PatchusMaximus esp and had it rebuild from scratch. Magically fixed everything lol. Oh hey I don't think anyone answered my question. What do I need to do to go from Dawn of Riften to JK's Riften besides change from Riften NavFull to Riften NavLite, and such?
21. Any thoughts on the "lockpicking" thing? I was able to confirm that it leveling up Wayfarer as the description of the "lockpicking" and the perks reflect wayfarer
22. I'm using all PerMa modules. But that makes a little sense... how to go about fixing it...
23. Huh... I've never had that issue. Even when I had Steam and Skyrim in Program Files. I keep the Mod Organizer folder on the root of my C: drive C:\Mod Organizer Maybe you could try that and see if it gets results?
24. Anyone else getting random lockpicking skill level ups? I don't even have any lock picks lol.
25. Oh yeah I've been using ShareX for a bit I just sometimes forget about it. I saw it in one of the videos from a guy I'm subscribed to on YouTube.
