1. Ok if you installed everything in the guide then you installed both STEP Core and STEP Extended as they stand. Mark your current profile as STEP Extended and then copy the profile. Then go back to the guide and untick all of the mods without green bars next to them and you'll have Core. You'll need the Core patch for Core and the Extended Patch for extended, they are not interchangeable and would likely be the reason for your issues. Yes you can keep your .ini files just copy and paste them from your MO ini editor into a plain notepad file. As for an easier way to set things up, no not currently. Why do you think you need to start from scratch?
2. It'll run but I wouldn't run an ENB and by run I'm talking probably 30 fps or less. I'd stick to 1366x768 as a maximum resolution while playing and use the textures above. I played on a GTX 460M which was basically the same thing. But that was a while ago and would not go back ever. https://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-550-Ti-vs-GeForce-GTX-460M
3. These pages should help you get the Creation Kit to see things. Use ctrl-f and type in creation kit. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition#Configure_The_Creation_Kit
4. Just monitor the temperatures using your manufacturer's oc tool don't let it go above say... 80C-90C it should be fine but I don't let mine get that hot personally. I think they're supposed to be OK as long as it doesn't get to like 120-150C for the newer Nvidia cards (usually). Other than that use some benchmarks like 3DMark Firestrike, Valley Benchmark, and such.. Maybe do a Work unit or two of Folding @ Home just to be sure. If you start getting lue screens dial the gpu oc down some. Unless you're also ocing the cpu in which case do that one as well.
5. Yeah it was New Gameplay Overhaul until it had a name and that was the thread name until a couple months ago so now it's Modular Morrowloot Overhaul
6. Ganda says he'll take a look at the meshes if someone wants to pm him with what they're thinking of to fix them.
7. Indeed I agree with waiting. I meant to put that in my previous post
8. From what I've tried out so far (don't need to bother with RS children since I use it in my personal profile) Rustic Children is the only one I can in good conscience recommend for STEP currently. Skyrim Child Overhaul is in my opinion simply not mature enough and apart from the non-voiced deal the morphs need work, if it had more options and the bugs were worked out and more work put it it might be a contender ideally something allowing for the combining of the textures of something like Prince and Pauper or Rustic Children with Skyrim Child Overhaul would be great.
9. Interesting. Sounds a lot like my laptop. I have a G75VX. Never had that issue before, have you tried ENB Binary .265? I recall some issues with .266.
10. @Hazelwolf you can follow my PerMa pack if you wish to get you started, it uses LOOT for both SR:LE and REGS as well as PerMa it's in my signature. I recommend the 0.7b of LOOT as it sorts PerMa better and requires next to no LOOT rules whereas the stable version required a few.
11. Tried going to an interior and waiting 30 days and then trying to add the second word of marked for death? I doubt it'll help but it's something to try since I'm not sure what's causing it.
12. Oh I thought this had been accepted already lol. I vote yes as well.
13. I agree RS Children is not for STEP, it's nice but a bit too nice (won't keep me from using it in my personal setup, my main beef is the RS Children hair) Rustic for STEP.
14. Yes, it works well (fantastic) on my end. Just need time to sort my assignments out, which isn't a bad thing it'll let the authors fine tune things a bit more.
15. Never heard of D3DGear. I'll have to try it I use Bandicam which IMO does Shadowplays job better than Shadowplay since it takes advantage of the same thing Shadowplay does but it has better codecs and bitrate options.
16. Yeah... I vote no. Looks too unfinished and I can't quite place the other word. I'll edit my post later if I can think of it.
17. TBH I think we'd need to wait since it seems there are issues either with the installer or through non-ENB use.
18. Read this and see if it fixes it. If not please post your enblocal.ini , and skse.ini in spoilers please
text
19. Hmm... forgot about the GMT times. So I'd need to be available from 7-10pm on weekdays. Ah well tossing my hat into the ring. It is march after all.
20. Interesting. TBH this sounds nice, it's basically what I do for STEP plus a few extra miles and community outreach. I wonder if they accept people without any experience as my current CV and income are both nada.
21. In my opinion both aren't ideal but I definitely like Rustic Better for several of them. One example is the Strong Poison compare while I realize that it seems Gamwich is going for ceramic as opposed to glass his has a lot less of a glossy plasticy look to them in some cases.
22. I shall task Ganda with the creation of better meshes!
23. So did you try the -forcesteamloader argument to your skse executable as discussed in the thread I linked? https://forum.step-project.com/topic/6726-common-ctds-freezes-ils-and-memory-issues/
24. @Zegorzalek This setup works if you place the mods in the Pack after the mods from SR:LE, REGS, or SR:LE + REGS. I do not personally use ASIS and believe it's pointless with PerMa anyways in regards to the reasons Neovalen included it. @Erener Post your enblocal.ini , and skse.ini in spoilers like so

I assume you've followed this?
25. I don't like the ingot much either, however I don't think it's so much holes as imperfections in the ore, it was a common issue. Ulfberht steel swords and the process used to remove slag helped with the purity and quality of the swords, as well as the ingots produced. So an argument could be made that The Ruffled Feathers ingots were not crucible steel and instead the more common steel used by most non-Viking cultures.
