  1. Thanks I'll be sure to look for a lower response time and see what the cost of the display is. Maybe I'll buy a little slower screen like 8ms as was suggested. I don't play much fps games and if I do mostly single player.
  2. The Asus monitors looks good. I'll stay on 16:9 since I'm used to that. I don't want anything under 24". 27" looks nice but I'll avoid 1080p resolution on those. Is it anything else I should be aware of other than panel type (IPS), resolution (24" 1080p or 27" 1440p) and brand (Samsung/Asus/dell/eizo)? Are all IPS displays from these brands good enough? I'm thinking of going with 27" which means a whole upgrade of the PC. I can keep my chassi, fans and PSU for now. I'll have to read up on the rest but I'll try to stick to one brand this time so I can build a fancy looking PC, probably gigabytes. If I upgrade I'll stick with Intel, probably something like i5 xxxxK, if the naming standard still applies, and a motherboard with overclocking presets.16 GB ram and an nvidia GPU. Currently I have my first GPU from amd and I miss nvidia. 970 or 980. Read something about 980 ti coming soon.
  3. I'm not liking the dark spectrum in my current display. Everything blends into a glowing blackness, if that makes sense. This is when playing Skyrim with some dark dungeons mods. Also my cat has put its claw through the screen which means I have a very dead "pixel" :) I think I'll go with IPS over TS since viewing angels are a problem for me. I play lego games with my 4 year old kid and we both need to have a good viewing angle. 27 inch 1440p would be nice, but that means I'll need a new GPU too and everything gets a little more expensive. I'm not planning on upgrading my GPU without upgrading the rest of the computer unless anyone can argue against that. I live in Sweden and electronics have just gotten more expensive here because of a weak currency. Octopuss display looks fine from reviews. Which fits gaming best 16:9 or 16:10? Asus MX279H costs just a little more than the Dell screen but it's 27 inch. Only 1080p though but that means I don't need a new GPU.
  4. I'm going to buy a new display since I hate the one I own and I knew nothing about displays when I bought it. I am quite a lot about computers in general and have always built my own computers but when it comes to displays I lack in knowledge. My computer is getting old but it works for all games I play so I won't upgrade it until it fails me (possibly when I buy wither 3) This is my current computer: Display Benq Benq XL2410T CPU: Intel i5-2500K 3,3 GHz overclocked to 4,2 GHz Memory: 8 GB RAM Motherboard: Asrock Z68 2 SSD's since I use one for Win8 and games and one for Win7 and work GPU: AMD HD 7970 3 GB Any advice on a new display or what to look after? What max resolution should the display have if I want to keep it a couple of years. What display type (TN/IPS etc, which means nothing to me...). I want it to be affordable. All input is appreciated, thanks!
  5. This looks amazing another game (like Battlefield 3) where 10 years old kids are going to yell at me and calling me names for suck at playing
  6. A little more info to my post above. Rebuilt Dyndolod lods. Had files in overwrite BUT no files overwrite anything from the output folder. Might have been mistaken previously when I stated that I had. This is what was in the overwrite: https://www.dropbox.com/s/prq78qej7mx5cer/Sk%C3%A4rmklipp%202015-04-15%2023.33.45.png?dl=0
  7. I had things in my overwrite folder to after running Dyndolod. I moved it to the output folder I had chosen for dyndolod and it overwrote several files. The output folder was on my SSD so that shouldn't matter. I do not use SR:LE though, which might matter. I have STEP:Extended+REGS+my packs+survival pack+other mods. Do you use other mods on top of SR:LE?
  8. Does it occur with real ice/rw2 turned off? You may try deactivating your conflict resolution patch too to see if you made something wrong there. There is also water textures installed by other mods, like some enbs. You may want to check that you have vividian installed correctly (even though I doubt that this would happen). Does it flicker or is it constant black? Does it look exactly the same after a reboot?
  9. I thought Relighting Skyrim was quite compatible with ETaC (and REGS) since CJ recommends it several times in the REGS thread. I have done some lighting patches (I have not covered all conflicts) and for RS I only made a patch for Better DG entrance of all STEP/REGS mods. Of the screenshots I say add Relighting Skyrim to STEP: Core. I wouldn't add ELE without an ENB judging from some of the exterior screenshots. Maybe ELE for interiors only as Techangel proposed.
  10. Great idea. I'm thinking about addding a player home to my playthrough so this pack comes right in time. :) Since most players probably won't add all homes, a little more information on what to expect might be good? I'm aware it's a WIP, just a suggestion that you might already be planning on adding. I'd also like information on the storage chests and if they are scripted (like riverside lodge) as well as if the home is free or costs gold. Compatibility with REGS/Lighting mods would also be great. I have been looking at the following homes: * Millwater retreat (ETaC patch in ETaC installer) * Riverside Lodge (I think it conflicts with ETaC. The only one I've tested, was great except the enchanting table didn't work, possible conflict, didn't check.) * Breezehome fully upgraded (compatible with REGS source: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/1209-skyrim-revisited-pre-release-feedback/page-347?do=findComment&comment=121248 ) * Rayeks End - Mini Hideout and the two not lore-friendly mods I just saw on the nexus: * Island Hobbit Home - Revisited by Kursan * Nakahara - Akaviri House by Elianora
  11. === Changelog === <div style="color:#ccc; text-align:left; font-size:1.4em; font-weight:500; border-style:solid; border-bottom-width:3px; border-color:rgb(200,100,20); padding-bottom:10px; overflow:hidden;"></div> * 15-04-12 Updated TTRSO merging instructions and instructions for manually fixing the patch * 15-04-11 Updated patches Update needed, if anyone is using this :)
  12. Identified an issue with patch #512 TTRSO light armor. The issue is that when merging TTRSO plugins a perk gets renumbered and the patch uses the original formId. Added some instructions on how to fix this.
  13. Your welcome. Updated the patches #510-514
  14. I see thanks. Don't understand why, but I'll guess I just have to accept it :) Check Kryptopyrs answers here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/7365-conflict-resolution-help-disparity-ttrso/ might help you.
  15. Might be overthinking this but what differs the ArmorLight condition from the rest? The first condition that checks the perk is set to Equal to and needs to be true, rigt? The others have a equal to / or type setting, which means any of them can be true?
  16. Thanks lonewolf I made a new patch, will try it and upload it later. There is one thing that needs to be looked at. Not at my comp now but the keyword dlc1materialDawnguard or something like that is added to both light and heavy matching set perks by WAF. Not sure why, will check which armors has this keyword later and if its both heavy and light armors. Either way it seems a little strange, if it's just heavy or just light armors, why add it to both perks. If it's both light and heavy armors that has this keyword, what prevents you from getting your matching set heavy bonus when wearing dawnguard material armor of the wrong type.
  17. Sorry but that example doesn't tell us much. This is an example from my setup. Note that I have installed packs with custom versions of the leveled lists. Your bashed patch won't look exactly like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3e97n5mvocekfgr/Sk%C3%A4rmklipp%202015-04-09%2014.44.30.png?dl=0 See how the cco plugin disables items from skyrim.esm by leaving them out in the bashed patch. The cco plugin is only activated for the example, normally it looks like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kqlx0847cogebe7/Sk%C3%A4rmklipp%202015-04-09%2014.52.18.png?dl=0 Here the cco plugin is merged into the bashed patch and manually disabled. It looks like items are wrongfully not forwarded but it is the deleveling cco plugin that is the cause of this, just like in you first example. Sorry for images showing as links, posting from my phone.
  18. I don't have one, but couldn't you activate the plugins from WAF, cco and ab content add-on (or activate all plugins) and take a screenshot again of some problematic records?
  19. If you have plugins that just contains leveled lists they get merged into the bashed patch and can be deactivated. If you do, it could look like this. If so, activate them and recheck in TES5Edit.
  20. That's correct and I believe you are quoting the answer to a question I asked on the TTRSO nexus page. I use ultimate combat ATM after your suggestion and I really enjoy. It is my clear favorite between ultimate combat, deadly combat and duel. Haven't tried action combat though.
  21. Sorry that I missed this post when you made it a while ago. This mods sounds quite interesting and would be more compatible that revenge of the enemies, judging from the description. I am to interested if anyone has tried and evaluated this mod.
  22. I currently have vividian/cot set up like in SR:LE. The snow storms can get pretty intense, I don't know if supreme storms are needed? True storms is mostly sound if I understand it correctly.Wouldn't this need to be balanced with WAO as it already has mods that alter sounds and are balanced with each other?
  23. Some quick thoughts; Go with ENB and ELE. I have tried relighting skyrim+LoS and ELFX for awhile. RS+LoS is more compatible and gives me better fps but ELFX is more of an overhaul and might fit better here. It has patches too so compatibility might not be an issue. There is also fps fixes for places that has problems with fps. Might want to include shadow .ini tweaks. Haven't tried the rest of the mods so no opinion there.
  24. Remade the patch for Thunderchild - TTRSO Speech. The new shouts from thunderchild will not benefit from the perks in the speech tree that enhances them. Other than that, it should work. Add the experience from shouts function in the thunderchild mcm menu. Playing without the speech module is recommended if you do not like this inconsistency. If you do that, build your own patch from the modular morrowloot overhaul page. Thanks Harpalus for making me aware of this.
  25. I haven't tried Ziil los dii du. It looks interesting. it looks a little better balanced than Dragon soul relinquishmen. Instead of giving bonuses to health, magica and stamina it gives bonus to regeneration, which is a good idea imo. It is less powerful than Dragon soul relinquishment but as said, looks balanced. I don't know about dragon blood though. It means you'll get bonus perk points right from the start (or when you start killing dragons). With dragon souls relinquishment you probably spend the dragon souls on unlocking shouts first meaning you'll get the bonus perks later. You also have Deadly Dragons MCM which can convert dragon souls to perks. I didn't know that thunderchild had a function to gain speech experience when shouting. I made a patch which fixed experience gain for vanilla shouts but it would be better to use thunderchild function for this. Other than that, they are compatible:
