pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
dreadflopp replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
Sorry for the late answer darkside. Radiance, Extended encounters and random encounters was dropped from my packs during the big update when I split them to several packs. Random encounters was dropped because it resulted in to many enemy spawns, especially if you use ASIS at the same time. The encounters were too random to, like any creuture could be anywhere. This destroyed the immersion. Extended encounters and radiance were dropped because I just needed to streamline the pack and cut down on the number of mods. I also read about issues one of these three mods had (don't remember which one) and I added OBIS and Immersive patrols. It was also a concern that ERSO didn't support his mods anymore since he quit nodding skyrim. They may still be good mods but my experience in game with them is limited. They were all added by my previous collaborators. Endgame NPC overhaul was dropped because of to many conflicts with other mods that were unnecessary in my opinion. It became hard to add mods that made changes to NPCS without resolving conflicts in TES5Edit. I have tried to balance the game with other mods instead like combat mods, SIC and High level enemies. Loot and degradation works great and is essential in my opinion. It does what it's supposed to. -
Merge what? The MMO patches? It's hard for me to do when I don't know exactly which mods you're using :) It's not very hard, but I could do if you give me your mod list. But the patches are being updated every know and then which means you'll need to re-merge your patch. I'll start integrating ordinator into the pack soon, as an optional at first until I've tried it myself. I'll also check out the camping mod and prepare for the new frostfall.I have been sick lately but will hopefully get better soon and get more energy for this. Hopefully next week. ;)

pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
dreadflopp replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
It looks really good. Many perk, a little hard to take it all in and see if it's balanced from the descriptions. I'm definitely going to try this though. I won't have any time for Skyrim this week, but I'll try it after tha and probably add it the guide. I'm wondering about compatibility with combat mods with timed blocking. -

If I understand you correctly, your problem is that you install the legendary+wyrmstooth+falakaar version of ELE and thus get a missing master in other files that expect the legendary version of ELE? To solve this, rename ELE_Legendary_Fs_Wt_Lite.esp to ELE_Legendary_Lite.esp. The reason this works is that the falskaar+wyrmstooth version of ELE is a merged version and contains all records of the ordinary version. Do not make it a practice to rename plugins to solve issues like this if you're not certain of what you are doing :) I could check for myself when I get home to my computer but out of curiosity, is Relighting Skyrim still included in the non-ELE versions?

Thanks for your kind words :) I added some info about Realistic Room Rental (use the 3DNPC patch from the installer), removed patch 720 since it was a duplicate, updated some realistic room rental patches and added my patches that I usually don't share. They are simply called other patches: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6g46qb30o5vdajb/AAD4NFnjvunj1PMlSdf4nZ04a?dl=0 Read the read me :) -

Sorry, I have no documentation for the patches. Too little time for that. 710 & 720: use both for now. This is a mistake by me due to the fact of Skyrims 255 plugin limit. I can't load all plugins at the same time when I do conflict resolution. I'll merge them when I get home. 760 & 770 are for the SIC version of HLE. You should use both patches if you use STEP extended, HLE & SIC. REGS, especially the cities part of it, is getting more incompatible with STEP since the author no longer is able to update the pack. It needs patches for Relighting Skyrim and ELE, which I have resolved in my patches. The mod Skyrim immersive citizens might be added to STEP and it is currently incompatible with the cities part of REGS. I am currently playing without the cities part of REGS and without the REGS patch and with Skyrim immersive citizens. It is a really good mod and I highly recommend it. I could share patches for this setup if anyone's interested (when I get home from my vacation). -
More records from EBT must havet been added to The patch then since i wrote those instructions then. On vacation so can't help you. I'll update the instructions when I come home. Check the STEP changelog/patch documentation. If it's up to date all records from EBT are documented there. If not, you'll have to check every record in EBT and see if it's added to the STEP patch. Right click the left column and add a filter to sort out records that are not overwritten (theyll be white).

Sorry for the late answer and thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't looked at it before. It looks like a balanced/enhanced version of the vanilla races. That said, I'm really enjoying disparity. It is not as close to vanilla but it is really good. Since this is a pack it doesn't have to follow the STEP mandate. If it follows the STEP mandate it might fit STEP Core/Extended better.

Wrye bash has an easy to use function to switch master for a mod. The original USKP doesn't even have to be installed. Isn't this the easiest way to fix this and the most user friendly?

In my pack (link in my signature) there is actually a section in the beginning listing all records that needs to be deleted to remove ebt dependency from the STEP patch. Could save you some time.

Install order doesn't matter between the packs.

Big update to the patches. Did changes in my other packs too. The biggest change is that I now use Morrowloot Ultimate. You should start a new game if switching to Morrowloot Ultimate. If you don't, do a cell reset and be prepared to loose some inventory. -
Updated the pack and the patches. Removed Morrowloot 4E. Added Morrowloot Ultimate.

PerMa is not compatible with thecurrent version of morrowloot. That might change though as I replace it with morrowloot ultimate. The author of that version of morrowloot have made a patch for PerMa. -

So, I'm done with a TTRSO - Immersive potions - STEP patch (STEP here means USKP/CCF). This is the last patch for the patch for now. Next thing is replacing morrowloot 4e with morrowloot ultimate which means that I have to remake several patches. I'll keep the current patches for those not wanting to start a new game which is recommended if switching to the new morrowloot. I'll ask the author about that, a cell reset might be enough. The patch is not yet added to the other patches since I want someone to take a look at it. Harpalus, if you have the time I would really appreciate it since you seem to use these mods anyway and have patched them yourself. Here is the new patch: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15909840/522%20TTR_Skill_Overhaul_Alchemy%20-%20Immersive%20potions%20-%20STEP%20Core%20%26%20Extended%20patch.esp -

I checked this. It is from the unofficial patches and it fixes an issue where members of the draugr faction were attacking dragons. -

I'll take a look at this as soon as I get back to my computer. That might not be until after the weekend unfortunately. It sounds strange that this edit is in the patch and not in any other plugins. I didn't make any new edits when I created these patches. I'll investigate to see where it came from. It might be from dragon combat overhaul that I used previously. If you'd like you could check that. -
STEP v2.2.9.1 Official Bug Reports
dreadflopp replied to TechAngel85's topic in Step Skyrim LE Guide
There is an inconsistency in step when it comes to bartering I believe. I'm writing this from my phone so I'll have to describe the issue as well as I can from memory. One of kryptopyrs mods, probably clothing and clutter fixes, raises the price of silver ingots (if I remember correctly). Neovalens Skyrim coin replacer redux lets you melt 75 haralds to a silver ingot. The price of the ingot and the coins required to melt them becomes inconsistent compared to other coins and the ingots they are melted to. A solution could be to alter the recipe for melting haralds to require more (quite a lot more) haralds for one ingot. -

@harpalus it's been awhile since I looked at immerse potions actually and honestly I don't remember how I patched it. The plugin count limit makes patching harder since I have maybe 300 plugins when the patches aren't merged. I may have deselected immerse potions the last couple of times I did the patches thinking I was done with it. But I'll look into it. Thanks for the detailed description of the conflicts. @cccow that is good news. I should message the author. He could probably steal a patch or two from me. -

I have looked into it and will do so again. It does much of what is included in MMO but you would no longer have any choise in what mods you'd like yo use. It does fix some leveled lists that were problematic in Morrowloot. The changes to crafting has to be evaluated and compared to CCO since the pack in its current state overwrites Morrowloots crafting restrictions with CCO. That might change. The changes to encounter zones has to be checked and compared to PermaZones which is in the pack now. It will be easy to overwrite the changes to the encounter zones with PermaZones or a plugin which changes them back to vanilla. What concerns me most about the changes to the encounter zones is the removal of the combat boundaries. There are som bugs related to this that fireundubh fixes in his mod No Combat Boundaries and Unofficial Encounter Zone Patch. If I remember correctly ithe bug had to do with the civil war quest or possibly the mod civil war overhaul. It's possible that these bugs are fixed in Morrowlot ultimate too but I still feel like it's a bad idea to remove the combat boundaries since you'll have enemies where they aren't supposed to be. Still a switch to Morrowloot ultimate is probably a good idea, some patching and evaluating must be done first. I probably have time for this the next week. -
