Decided to finally do something about overlapping texts in my menus. After doing some searching in the forums it seems like the cause of this is the STEP recommended font. This was concluded in the main font replacement thread https://forum.step-project.com/topic/1343-main-font-replacement-by-valistar/?hl=%2Bmain+%2Bfont+%2Breplacement. Shouldn't STEP change recommendation to centaur in the next version?

pack Dreadflopps Modular patches

I removed dco from my game a while ago since dragon fights were to hard for me and I were getting script lags warnings from frostfall. I have removed other mods too since then, like ASIS, and my game is more stable. I also just dropped deadly dragons difficulty setting to vanilla. I'll get into some dragon fights and see how it feels and add back dco after. Your recommendation seems reasonable, I don't like extra dragon spawns. I'll add it to the mcm recommendations as soon as I know exactly what the settings are. -

Your conflict resolution guide is what taught me the basics in resolving conflicts using TES5edit and I still appreciate it. I use it to double check if I missed something when I resolve ELFX/ELE conflicts. I understand why you would stop writing it though, must take lots of work to do. -

=== Changelog === * 15-03-28 Patched TTRSO heavy armors, light armors and smithing against WAF. TTRSO now uses WAF keywords when deciding if the armor is a Matching set. * 15-03-28 Added a patch for CWINPCImprovements. Modified some patches in my own conflict resolution (which covers mods not in the packs) * 15-03-24 Added Harpalus methods of checking that the game is stable Will check the new SIC/WAF patch later -

You can post here too, doesn't matter to me. Thanks, I'll check and add it tonight. -

I've worked with a patch like that before but discussed it with someone in this thread and decided against it. TTRSO, if I remember correctly, fixes the matching set compared to vanilla, just like Kryptopyr does. I can take a look again and see what I can come up with. Without any patch we have a matching set perk that works for more armor sets than in vanilla, but maybe not as many as with WAF. -

Just do what harpalus said :) good advice, should be stickied. I think I'll steal this and add to the guide. Harpalus modded skyrim test, if that's alright? -

There are different stress tests but I have never used them myself. I say install everything. Since you use MO (right?) it's easy to deactivate mods. If you wanna do some testing I believe there is a testing method on the skyrim flora overhaul nexus page. You could walk around outside white run and spawn a dragon or two and fight them. The outskirts of white run should be pretty heavy on the system, as should a dragon. -

Thanks @darkside, forgot about that. I'll add it later. Hopefully the mod author updates the mod. -

I needed to create the forum posts before adding the packs, hence no links. I'll update the op's. -

1. All The mods. Skip Other skill mods and Hardcore gameplay mods. PermaZONES is up to you. 2. Install order: STEP, REGS, Other packs 3. Go with STEP Extended. SR:LE changes to fast, I can't keep up with it I'll add lighting mods to the guide that I use but it's the same as in the old guide. -

You'll find the new packs in the packs section. Skyrim Gameplay Rebalance, Deleveled Loot, Dovahkiin Reborn as well as Smile44's Survival which should have better fast travel added to it. The old guide: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Dreadflopp/mmo_old You can always ask questions if you are uncertain of things. That's how I know when anything is not clear in any of the guides. -

I can't see anything wrong in your load order. If everything is patched as it should it's very hard to tell what's going on. It might be memory/script related. I've had ctd's on heavy modded setups during fights before, not on this setup though. Try removing ASIS and/or Duel and see if you get it stable. -

New pack that used to be a part of a bigger pack. I have broken up my pack Modular Morrowloot Overhaul into smaller part to make it more accessible and user friendly. The old pack page serves as a patching guide if you want to use several packs at once. https://wiki.step-project.com/Pack:Skyrim_Gameplay_Rebalance

I misread your post and thought you recommended combat evolved. That are the reasons I do not use it. I'm removing both deadly combat and duel. Maybe trying ultimate combat if it doesn't make combat to hard. Sorry for being short, it's way past time for me to be sleeping here (sweden) and I'm doing some patching. Will look into the combat mod thread tomorrow. Very helpfull, thanks! -

I'll try ultimate combat. I have read the nexus page several times but haven't tried it yet. Looked a little to much but maybe it isn't? Check this page for my recommended setup (done some rebalancing, I am using the "casual" setup): https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Dreadflopp/mmo_SkyrimGameplayandSkillrebalance . Endgame npc overhaul might be unescessary, may drop it later. What are the consequences of combat evolved? I'll post this in a day or two. Thought I was gonna do it tonight but may tweak it a little more. I think better leveling caps at 150? I agree with not leveling to far. I think better leveling does a pretty good job. Many things I am uncertain about and just trust the author. Which stats are you thinking about? -
DROPPED Skyrim - Enhanced Camera (by LogicDragon)
dreadflopp replied to dstansberry's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I have packs (mmo) installed that make me die too often. I am currently working on rebalancing that. Even so, it is an annoying bug when you survive some arrow shots and that last one that kills you gets you flying a hundred meters. I vote core though if we can prevent this or turn off the death cam like Neovalen suggested. -

A little silly maybe but I die a lot and gets launched all over the place. I'm going to give it another try though. Maybe tweak the death cam time.
