  1. Thanks for the support. I've got a potential fix prepped for release, and I'm just waiting for the final antivirus to give me the green checkmark. Do you guys happen to have one of the other games that BethINI works on, and if so, does it cause the same problem?
  2. Thanks for trying that. I will see about making a workaround in the future, since I can't seem to find the cause.
  3. I have yet to figure out how this bug is caused. Thanks for the log file. The more I have, the more I can narrow it down. I have a theory that I would like to test, if you are willing. Could you try the following and see if it gives you the error message or not? 1. Copy Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini to your desktop. 2. Open BethINI and go to the Setup tab. 3. Click the INI Path dropdown and select Browse... 4. Browse and select the INI files copied to your desktop. 5. Go to the Basic tab and click Save and Exit. Let me know if it still throws the error.
  4. OK. According to that INI, it should be working. So probably something is overriding the tweak. To confirm whether or not this is the case, do the following: 1. Launch the game and open the console. 2. Type the following and hit enter: getini "bEnablePlatform:Bethesda.net"3. If the console returns 0, the setting is on. If it returns 1, then something is overriding your INI tweak.
  5. What mod manager are you using? What is the contents of the resultant Skyrim.ini file?
  6. OK. Thanks for that. I see that the game path is set incorrectly. Go to the Setup tab and click the dropdown for the Game Path and navigate to the Skyrim folder. You'll need to select the SkyrimLauncher.exe. Once you have done that, hit the Default button, select your preset, and then Save and Exit. See if that fixes it.
  7. OK. I will have to wait until later to fully digest this log, but first thing I see is that BethINI hasn't finished running its startup sequence before you started pushing it's buttons. Try launching it again and before doing anything, click on the Log tab and wait for it to say BethINI startup completed. Then hit save and exit to see if it completes successfully or gives the same error message. Let me know the results.
  8. There isn't anything wrong with those INI files that I can see. Sounds like you may be correct in that you're pushing your system to the limit. The INI files located in Steam/Common/steamapps/Skyrim Special Edition folder are used as template files to create the actual INI files placed in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition. The game launcher uses them. BTW, when you described "corruption" on the low and poor preset, is that like visual corruption? What do you mean by it?
  9. OK. It looks like she has you delete the conflicts to make it work.
  10. Well, that's disconcerting. I've not used Vortex before, so I can't help you there. If there's nothing in Before BethINI folder, that means BethINI didn't find any INI files to backup when it first ran, which really doesn't make sense. I might need to install Vortex and see if it treats INI files in a special manner. The game typically uses the INI files in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition that you mentioned. Could you please post the contents of your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files in spoiler tags like mentioned above?
  11. I don't think that you can use both Verdant and Skyrim Flora Overhaul at the same time. You are affected by a bug in the version 3.x series of BethINI that I haven't been able to reproduce yet. This is why I need the log file so badly so I can finally find the problem. Use the spoiler tags as mentioned above.
  12. That is intentional, IIRC. The fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance setting merely sets the max value that the in-game fGrassStartFadeDistance "Grass Fade" distance can be adjusted to. My method of adjusting grass fade uses fGrassFadeRange in addition to fGrassStartFadeDistance to avoid the nasty grass pop-in issues inherent with high fGrassStartFadeDistance values. This means that it will never exceed the default fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance, so no need to adjust it.
  13. What mod manager are you using? Do you know where your INI files are located? Do you know where the BethINI Cache folder is (should be a subfolder where your INI files are located)? If so, could you post your old INI files located inside BethINI Cache\Before BethINI so I can verify that they are your old settings? Can you post your mod list thru Modwatch?
  14. Next version will include the ability to not modify Custom INI files, as requested. The feature will only show itself if a Custom INI file is found, and if it has not been setup already, prompt the user to decide if they want it modified at startup.
  15. That should be easy enough.
  16. I have successfully contacted the antiviruses that have been flagging my file on VirusTotal and cleared my file prior to this release. Hopefully this should clear up the issues users have experienced with their antiviruses deleting my file. Anyone still having issues should tell me the name of the antivirus so that hopefully I can contact them and have it cleared. https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/2599033b0fc762958103680ab8fe1d2a1a37f70bb461c466c51c767534fff0da/analysis/1556749625/ Version 3.1: New Tweak: Allow 3.0 Shaders under Basic for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas. Behind the Scenes: If BethINI is pointed to a Mod Organizer profile that has Local Settings turned off, it will notify the user with a prompt to optionally enable Local Settings for the profile. Behind the Scenes: Added more verbose logging to better help diagnose issues. Behind the Scenes: Various code updates for AutoHotkey functions that are being deprecated. Bugfix: If the Mod Organizer path was changed in the GUI, the INI Path could update to show duplicate possible locations for the INI Path. Bugfix: Some issues involving Mod Organizer's use with Enderal: Forgotten Stories. You must use a version of Mod Organizer that supports Enderal.
  17. When you use Mod Organizer, you have to launch the game through Mod Organizer. In Mod Organizer, in the right panel above where you see all your plugins, there is a big dropdown. Select that dropdown and choose SKSE or NVSE and hit the run button to the right of that.
  18. I already support iAdapter...
  19. No. I don't own the VR versions of the game as my rig isn't powerful enough.
  20. Try choosing a less demanding preset in BethINI.
  21. Sounds like the original download was corrupt.
  22. No, you shouldn't need to check it unless you enable the graphical parts of ENB, which should be automatically detected.
  23. I have confirmed that fIBLFBloomRadius is an invalid setting. The setting you want is uIBLFBloomRadius (unsigned integer values always return "UNKNOWN TYPE" in the console).
  24. Try to use the Autohotkey Script version. I'll check in-game, but I am pretty sure you need to change uIBLFBloomRadius, not fIBLFBloomRadius. And the default is 2, not 0. If this is the case, that is why BethINI removed that line.
  25. I'll think about it, but that would be kinda difficult to code.
