Instead of Dragon Soul Relinquishment, have you tried the badly underrated Ziil Los Dii Du? It's made by the author of TTRSO. It's quite lightweight and nicely balanced. If you miss a method of getting new perk points (particularly for people that don't use Better Leveling/Uncapper), the TTRSO author recommends pairing it with the very lightweight Dragon Blood. I find the default drop rate of 75% to be too much, so I usually lower it to 25% or 50% in TES5Edit.

Aren't there compatibility problems with Thunderchild and TTRSO? I'm back to using TTRSO, but I decided to disable its speech tree after reading this. To be fair, Thunderchild already buffs many shouts and lets you gain Speechcraft experience when shouting, and the USKP fixes the Speechcraft tree a little.

Most custom spell will work without any problems. The perks that probably won't have any effect on the custom spells are: Dark Soul I, Dark Soul II, Elemental Potency I, Elemental Potency II, Elemental Potency III, Weave's Link, Terror, Zealot's Fury, False Peace, Dream Feeder, Nightmare and Phantasmal Killer. So technically, it's mostly custom summons and custom Illusion spells that won't benefit from all the perks. You do have to take into consideration that some mechanics might not apply, like custom cloak spell being disabled while sneaking.

As for armors, they should work out of the box unless the mod author did something horribly wrong.

For Thunderchild - Epic Shouts, it's not compatible at all. It would need proper keywords, wouldn't balanced with my perks if they had those keywords, experience gained by shouting wouldn't work, etc. You can play with both (Thunderchild loaded after TTRSO), but only "my" shouts would benefit from the shout perks. You would still benefit from the other perks in the Speech skill tree. The good news is this mod is modular so you could use every other module except the Speech one.

I haven't tried Ziil los dii du. It looks interesting. it looks a little better balanced than Dragon soul relinquishmen. Instead of giving bonuses to health, magica and stamina it gives bonus to regeneration, which is a good idea imo. It is less powerful than Dragon soul relinquishment but as said, looks balanced.

I don't know about dragon blood though. It means you'll get bonus perk points right from the start (or when you start killing dragons). With dragon souls relinquishment you probably spend the dragon souls on unlocking shouts first meaning you'll get the bonus perks later. You also have Deadly Dragons MCM which can convert dragon souls to perks.

I didn't know that thunderchild had a function to gain speech experience when shouting. I made a patch which fixed experience gain for vanilla shouts but it would be better to use thunderchild function for this. Other than that, they are compatible:

The only way it's gonna work is if you load either Improved Dragon Shouts or Thunderchild after my mod so they override everything related to shouts. Of course, my shout perks won't work but that's a small trade off if you want to go with IDS or TC.

You could make a compatibility patch yourself, but I'm pretty sure it will unbalanced the shouts too much. Every author has his own vision of balance, mismatching them might not be the greatest idea. I went for lower cooldowns and adjusted the DPS to be about the same as Destruction spells, I can't say how this will affect IDS or TC if you make a compatibility patch.

If you go IDS or TC, I'd still install my speech module to benefit from the rest of the perk tree. Hope this clears up everything you need. Enjoy the mod!

Remade the patch for Thunderchild - TTRSO Speech. The new shouts from thunderchild will not benefit from the perks in the speech tree that enhances them. Other than that, it should work. Add the experience from shouts function in the thunderchild mcm menu. Playing without the speech module is recommended if you do not like this inconsistency. If you do that, build your own patch from the modular morrowloot overhaul page.

Thanks Harpalus for making me aware of this.

We all use PerMa instead of TTRSO. Now if there was a Perma version of this pack to go along with your other great packs....

Thanks but PerMa compatibility is not happening. Since it renumbers items formIds when creating the leveled list I can not make it compatible with Morrowloot. PerMa has a lot of patches on the nexus and probably works well with most other mods in my packs.

I see you removed SPERG. Will it come back to the MMO pack someday? The mod was pretty much compatible with everything, at least I think so from what I remembered a few months ago using your guide. Only have 2 patches installed to work with EFF and WAF.

I removed because I needed to streamline the guides a litte. I had to little time to do patches and gameplay testing/balancing for all different setups. SPERG is quite compatible though so there is nothing stopping you from using it. The patches for WAF, CCO and CCF on the SPERG unofficial patches page were outdated last time I looked, which also was a reason for removing it.

To answer your question, no it won't come back, sorry.

I'm running a full SRLE + REGS install with Dovahkiin Reborn, most of Skyrim Gameplay Rebalance and a few others. I followed each guide up to the letter, did a lot of testing and everything looked fine until I ran into a brawl. Starting as a thief with Live Another Life, I tried several times to brawl Bersi Honey Hand in the Pawned Prawn (quest : Taking care of business). But no matter which combination of Brawl Bug plugin / Enhanced Blood Textures I use, the brawl either turns into a real fight involving this NPC and his wife or stops for no reason before any of us gets serious damage, basically resetting the dialogue options.

The Brawl which takes place between two Companions the first time you enter Jorrovaskr is also buggy, the antagonists staying on guard for a few seconds without moving nor looking at the right direction before the fight actually begins after a 3-4 second freeze. I have a beefy rig and reasonably low script lag, never noticed such problems with only SRLE + REGS. Any hint ? To what extent does something like TTRSO affect unarmed combat aside boosting damage ? Sorry if it's not the right thread, but I tend to think these problems were introduced by a mod from Dovahkiin Reborn or Skyrim Gameplay Rebalance since they never shown up before.

I'll gladly take any idea :)

Actually noted it recently (last few weeks) running just SRLE, I suspect a mod update did it but haven't figured out which one just yet.

Mean time use Brawl Bugs Cheat found in the Brawl Bugs Patch comments as a workaround.

Thanks. I suppose you're talking about ErshinPL's suggestion here ?

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24020/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D24020%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D781100&pUp=1

Unfortunately that doesn't work for me. At least that would narrow the list of potential culprits to the mods included in SRLE. If you noted those bugs a few weeks ago and didn't see it since, perhap's I'm not up to date (unless you use that BB Cheat yourself, but your guide would probably reflect it in that case), will check if I missed anything.

Quoting ErshinPL :

"I guess some of the issues might have been caused by a mod that adds health or stamina regen in some way that the brawl didn't like, and also by NPCs having cloak spells or whatever that affect you."

(Does any of SRLE's mods do that ?)

I have had little time lately to actually play but I'm keeping the guides/patches up to date. I haven't noticed this bug myself but I haven't been in any brawl. Worst case scenario is to disable mods and check if that solves the problem. This can be very time consuming, another way to go is to wait for someone else to do it...

I have been stuck in the quarantine zone in the city Harran lately but will get back to Skyrim soon.
