Thanks for that, and now I've finally registered on the Beth forums so I can check that box on my to do list.

Oh, yeah, voted yes for unified. Legendary up people.

I don't see an issue personally. Unless he is saying that any change in the Unofficial Patch would cause you to have to make a new game regardless of any other mod changes. It sounds like it would simplify things for them especially in the long run. While development on the patches would have to cease and that would be a little sad I'd have to say part of me wants them to just do it. Let's face it if they did anyone who didn't would be forced to suck it up and buy the DLC because in all honestly why on earth would someone not buy them; I've seen them for $2-4 multiple times since December; not counting the countless times before that.

Heck. I bought the disc based version of the legendary version for $60 (even though I already had a disc from launch) just to see the developers get a little more (not that they really need any help)

I believe the new game reference was in regard to the one time switch from multiple/individual unofficial patches to the legendary patch.

As do I. However, that was the only thing that bothered me about combining them if that were not to be the case.

There are drawbacks for many users that don't have all the DLC, reading through the thread you can see some major players don't have some DLC. Wrinklyninja only has DB, but this might make him get to work on the Bashed Patch and implement filter patches. Those would really help people make stuff compatible.

100% in favor of the combined patch.

Even if they freeze development on the separate patches, those patches already contain fixes for the more serious bugs, so anyone who doesn't have all of the DLC will still be able to benefit by using the current versions of the separate patches.  It sounds like some of the larger bugs that still exist can only be addressed by creating a combined patch.  As the DLCs/Skyrim Legendary continues to be on sale an ever increasing majority of players will be using all of the official content, and the unofficial patch would best serve the community by fixing the bugs that are present when using all of the official content.

I have also voted yes.

As for the users that don't have all the DLC's - they've been on offers so many times, as was Skyrim: Legendary Edition that I don't really feel sorry for them, as harsh as it may sound.

Tannin is going to be so pissed if they change right after what the did for the BSA order.

Why? Its still good functionality to have. Even if they merge some will still use the old versions who don't have one or more DLC.
