Guest Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 (edited) I would personally keep these on all day and night. It's freezing in Skyrim. Also, with unlimited firewood and everlasting wax, it's a no-brainer. Edited May 30, 2014 by Guest
Roberbond Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 Ugh the screenshots are horrible...I have made some pictures with lantern of skyrim:https://s1266.photobucket.com/user/Roberbond38/slideshow/Photobucket%20Desktop%20-%20iMac%20de%20Roberto/Skyrim%20with%20lantern As you can see in these pictures the lights are always on, and there are no lights in the post signs. And other pictures with "Immersive Content - Extinguished Daytime Fires and Lights":https://s1266.photobucket.com/user/Roberbond38/slideshow/Photobucket%20Desktop%20-%20iMac%20de%20Roberto/Mod%20Immersive%20Content with this mod there lights along the roads, in some farms and on the post sign. They are off during the day.
phryxolydian Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Well done, mate. Have you experienced any script lag from it? Do you use ETaC or any city mods like the Dawn of.. serie?
Roberbond Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 No lag. I play with step extended+requiem pack+Civil war
keithinhanoi Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 These screenshots remind me of two things I like more about Immersive Content - EDFaL as compared to LoS: 1. The lanterns are hung closer to the end of the horizontal piece of wood of the light posts, which looks correct to me, and2. The already mentioned fact that the candles don't continue to glow when they've been extinguished during the daytime. Still thinking about the always-on bridge braziers idea, though... 1
Roberbond Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 A few more pics: I don´t understand why this mod it is not more known. 1
lilrosaleen Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) This mod has been overhauled and moved to a new page on the Nexus. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68454/? It is now called "Immersive Content - Realistic Outdoor Lights" Edited August 30, 2015 by lilrosaleen
FuzzRocket9 Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Yay, I wonder how compatible it is now with STEP. Thank you :D and waiting for STEP crew to get in on this hehe 1
Greg Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Should the thread be renamed and the links in the original post be changed to reflect this or should we create a new thread for the new mod?
GrantSP Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Since the original mod is still there we could probably go with a new thread.
TechAngel85 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 If it's the same mod, change it. If it's a different mod, new thread.
Yippee38 Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 I love the idea of this mod, but like SparrowPrince, I prefer the braziers be on 24/7. It's cold. It would be awesome to see some of the smaller exterior lights off during the day though.

Razorsedge877 Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Skyrim must not be to cold. I see a lot of NPCs not really dressed for the cold climate.
Harpalus Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 (edited) Skyrim must not be to cold. I see a lot of NPCs not really dressed for the cold climate. People seem to have different interpretations of Skyrim's climate. My interpretation is that southern Skyrim is almost t-shirt weather, considering how little most bandits wear. Many outfits in Skyrim don't even have sleeves. Not everyone wearing them is a nord with frost resistance. Many people seem to disagree. Frostfall makes southern Skyrim seem dramatically colder than this, for example. Presumably people ignore how inadequately everybody is dressed. This is somewhat off-topic, but I doubt there'll be a consensus on temperature. Edited September 3, 2015 by Harpalus
