EssArrBee
Yeah I'm going to do some stuff this weekend in my sandbox and port it over when it looks good.
EssArrBee
I've been doing some playing around with colors for headings and can't seem to find the correct set. I have the F&L Criterion Collection and there is a nice purplish color that I want to use, but I can't find something that matches the background and the style for actual text of the headers. Any suggestions? I can come up with the hex code myself, but I just can't figure out what color to use.

daemondai
I actually believed this... until the BM.
EssArrBee
Maybe BM means something different where I'm from because here it means bowel movement.
daemondai
ROFL I was referring to the Bannered Mare... I didn't want to spoil it for those who hadn't looked yet, thought I'd be cryptic, but instead made your mind wander to bowel movements. You have my sincere apologies SRB, unless of course you like thinking about bowel movements. On a completely different note, I'm toying around with UI mods for my FNV playthrough, and I am curious, why is it that when you change anything in the first part of the UI mods section (eg adding Adv Recon Thermal Nightvision), unless you go all the way back to the start of the UI mods section, Project Nevada doesn't show up in Unified HUD project? I tried to add a whole heap of uHUD UI mods at once and broke my game (as in CTD on startup), so I thought I'd try and find an easy way to work out which mod was causing it, but there isn't one. As soon as I disable mods, Project Nevada disappears from uHUD.
EssArrBee
Well, uHUD works by taking the text in one of the xml docs and combining them all into one. If any of those mods messes up the xml docs then you will get very frustrated trying to figure it all out. On my quest to figure it out I lost three mice, a xbox 360 contoller, two keyboards, a 21:9 2560x1080 monitor, a Toyota Camry, my dog, two girlfriends, and my only brother. You have been warned... Basically, you have to make sure to hide the start_menu.xml and hud_main_menu.xml files for any mod installed before uHUD. I think that is what does it. But, don't do that for PN or PN - EO and DarnUI. I think that is formula, but it isn't fool proof.
Livnthedream
Looks like Emerald Reign is back.Oooooooooooooooooooooo......... It looks great, but I really wish he would just finish one of his infinite projects. He is juggling too damn much so half of his stuff I consider to be in an unusable state. MadOak
Okay, you aren't looking for conflicts with other mods other than their masters. So, most mods have FalloutNV.esm as their master which means if they change a subrecord it needs the bash tag. It doesn't matter if it conflicts with any other mods, just that it changes a subrecord of it's master. Also, pretty sure that the FCO plugins shouldn't be used with NVR3. It's all over the mod's nexus page that it could mess stuff up, plus I did a bunch of FCO stuff already.Actually it's pretty easy to create compatibility between NVR3 and FCO. I found out that you just need to remove all NPC records from FCO using FNVEdit, which will make you able to use the cool races from FCO whiile no NPC conflicts getting in the way (and you'll only need FCOMaster.esm (works for me)). But ofc this might not be that easy for someone who have never used FNVEdit, even though the procedure is easy (or so I think myself). All these years later and were still finding easter eggs in the game... And I who thought everyone of them had been found in GECK. The community never fails to amaze me EDIT: By the way, guess no one has failed to see the Improved Robots Textures mod. It looks just incredible and seems to only have conflicts with vanilla textures. Edited August 23, 2014 by MadOak
Blackice
There's a problem with my character textures, the skin on the bodies doesn't match the face. Looks rather low-res too compared to the faces. It wasn't always very annoying but now i a saw a white man's face on a black body so that looked too weird.Any ideas on how to fix this? It's not (just) a problem with Roberts Males because females also have this issue. Here's my plugin list, maybe something is missing or in the wrong order? Nozzer66
The old white faces on black bodies is a well known issue. Crack open the ini files and look for an entry like bloadfacegeHeadEGTfiles and change it to 1.
Blackice
Thanks that did it for the black guy. It was only enabled in falloutprefs.ini but not in fallout.ini.I'm looking at some people in Novac and the lower bodies still don't exactly match the faces in color and quality though. But maybe that's normal. Edited August 24, 2014 by Blackice
