Muladhara86
Maybe the ENB guide for NV should be linked in the next version of the FLiNV guide. Maybe an explanation of possible arguments used in MO as well.
Inyuasha147
Warning beginner questions here, all help greatly appreciated. I have followed the Fear & Loathing guide as close as possible, and don't believe I have missed anything, but getting a "delinquent master: FalloutNV.esm" when creating the bashed patch. Is this correct? Also, when installing a mod that has an update and the comments are NOT tagged with warning to "Merge", does this mean "replace" should be selected? If this is the wrong place to post, my apologies. EssArrBee
Delinquent master of the Falloutnv.esm means you need to tick the first plugin in the list. Sometimes Wrye unticks it. For updating a mod already installed, if the the update file requires the main file then hit merge. If the update is the new main file and does not require a another file hit replace. Kman
Hey guys, next video is up. I aim to churn out 1-2 vids a day if I don't run into problems so please check in from time to time. Any tips regarding gameplay or graphic adjustments would be greatly appreciated. [ yt ] [ /yt ]
Inyuasha147
EssArrBee,Thanks, for some reason FalloutNV.esm was sitting at 5th on the list, and not being moved up by BOSS. I manually moved this to 1st and had 3 hrs of stable play, I noticed no issues during this time. The game looks great compared to vanilla. Fantastic guide, and my congratulations to you and the STEP community. I was ~2/3 through a 2.2.8 skyrim expanded setup plus immersion pack, when I noticed your fear & loathing guide, based on the very stable skyrim game I have been playing I purchased falloutNV to give it a go.I am an absolute beginner to modding and have basically been able to get both games running with minimal questions. This talks to the quality of the guides and the background work that goes behind them. Well done and thanks.
oqhansoloqo
Yeah, SRB did an awesome job with it. From my observations, he also goes out and helps mod creators to create patches for their mods improve their compatibility - very active in the community. When is this guide going to get its own background though? It still uses the Skyrim background... Edited August 4, 2014 by oqhansoloqo
EssArrBee
Thank you for kind words guys. Then background is here to stay. It is hardcoded to the wiki we use.
BahamutZ
May not be related to this guide, but the game itself, but is the local map supposed to be like this:https://i.imgur.com/IiL2pQt.jpg It is just small square, it doesnt fill up the screen, but maybe it can't. Nozzer66
IIRC that's perfectly fine.

Just the surrounding area. You need to go to the world map for the full view.

Nozzer66
Hey SRB not sure if you've noticed but Sarge198 has made the Pip Boy colours a separate mod from ILO now. Doesn't mean any more or less ESP's just means a change to the guide might be in order is all.
MadOak
Ok, can anyone help me figure out how to use the borderless fullscreen with ENB? Anytime I try to set 'ForceBorderless' or 'ForceBorderlessFullscreen' to true the game will stop responding and just give me a black screen with music still running every time i try alt+tabbing back to the game. 'EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks' is set to false by the way, so that shouldn't be the problem. I've modded a lot through the years, but only barely used ENBs. EssArrBee
Set both to true and set bfullscreen = 0 in your FNV INI.
hishutup
On the Performance topic. I believe your card is very under powered. I am only able to use one of my 6970 and I generally get 60 frames exterior and inside I get 30-60. I even installed almost all the higher res version of poco -I hate this name because I can never spell it correctly- and I do fine my enblocal is [MEMORY]ExpandSystemMemoryX64=trueReduceSystemMemoryUsage=falseDisableDriverMemoryManager=trueDisablePreloadToVRAM=trueEnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=falseReservedMemorySizeMb=512VideoMemorySizeMb=1920EnableCompression=false FNV uses about 90% whereas in the casino or strip... IDK Benny place. I get like 13 fps with 20% usage. VRAM hangs around 1.5 GB to 1.9 GB. I have a keyboard with an LCD in it so I am able to monitor these numbers in real time. I believe FNV is one of those games that you have to add a large amount of graphics power to get anything from it and also VRAM might be an issue... but if the're all 1k then that should be it. Reason for -out of order- enblocal:ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=false is because when its true it causes huge lag and fps drop. Definitely sure of this.EnableCompression=false because it causes this funny stutter, almost rubber-band like. Definitely sure of this.VideoMemorySizeMb=1920 not used, but hey why notDisablePreloadToVRAM=true because you cant alt tab anyway and lows VRAM consumptionDisableDriverMemoryManager=true because its better. Definitely sure of this.ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true IDK it was just a starting pointReservedMemorySizeMb=512 IDK it was also a starting point and probably not used Ok, can anyone help me figure out how to use the borderless fullscreen with ENB? Even with the console up. The only place where I was able to load it back up was on the main menu and only half of the time.
