GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback

What do you mean by "it won't show up"? Does it display an error of some kind? Cause there isn't actually a Brahmin retexture used in the guide. I was thinking of adding something like Brahmin Variant Redux (link), but I haven't really got around to testing it, and there aren't really any other retextures that I know of covering them.

I'll probably skip out on the Redone Betsy mod which irrc has the Brahmin retexture inside it and report back.

 

I guess this wasn't super guide related as much as me taking a shot in the dark :)

I've been using If It Wasn't For Betsy Remastered for a while now without any trouble. I didn't merge it with the other mods though.

Hmm I've had problems with brahmin textures and meshs before but I'll avoid merging it or at least make a backup mesh for the brahmin first.

I have a question regarding these two in the guide:

Hall Of Equipment, Wasteland clothing Hires retexture

They both are texture packs for clothes and armor. Should I install both of them?

Yes, Wasteland clothing Hires retexture is meant to overwrite Hall Of Equipment as it's deemed to be the better looking of the two, but HOE covers more textures. Hence, when installing in this fashion you get the HOE textures on the things WcHr doesn't cover, but the better WcHr textures on the things they both cover.

I asked a time ago about the Lucky Chamber bug. Well, I have to install Windows and Fallout New Vegas again. I started FNV WITHOUT any mods and it seems, the bug is in the game! Maybe it's a mesh bug.

On "Merging Fixes", "Merging New Vegas Uncut", "Merging Sandbox6's Mods", "Machienzo Merged Mods" is adding bash tags manually necessary? Because there is the generate bash tags script later on the guide.

 

It turns out that the skill books retexture is the same included in FOOK v1-13 Optional Files that was recommended here and I have added in the past, no need for it. Comparison shots:

I like both the books and the brahmin, along with the horn feature of it.

 

I don't really know where is that board on Primm to compare :P but the texture overwrites the one in MGs Neat Clutter Retextures that was recommended here and I have added in the past.
