kryptopyr Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Discussion thread: Lower Sounding Thieves Guild Door by John Kelly Wiki Link I've been using this mod for ages, and I think it's a huge improvement over vanilla. I was recently running around Skyrim using only a straight STEP installation, and I had forgotten just how horrible this sound was in vanilla. It's a small change, but one that prevents me from cringing every time I use what is supposed to be a secret entrance.
rootsrat Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Good find! Love little improvements like that! I presume there is no ESP, just a sound file?
kryptopyr Posted July 5, 2013 Author Posted July 5, 2013 Correct, there's no esp file. It's just a straight replacement of the vanilla sound files.
WilliamImm Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Moved to Mod Testing. Sounds really good... no ESP, no conflicts with anything else.
exploiteddna Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 ive been using this tweak for a couple months now and couldnt be happier. Doesnt affect performance, no esp and no conflicts. No reason not to use it IMO
TechAngel85 Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 For all to review....a video with both compares: [video=youtube] So far general consensus says this mod is an improvement.

torminater Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 The way to go, I'ld say it's an immersion fix, doesn't have any errors/fps impact, so it should go to Core.
rootsrat Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Agree, it's a clear improvement Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD
z929669 Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Need someone with experience with this mod should create the mod page for this one ... past in "Lower Sounding Thieves Guild Door" without quotes. We also need to get the OP updated to the standard.
