Do I need to post those .bmp to the wiki? It's easier to look through the actual files through my archive. IMO and a better indicator as they're uncompressed bitmaps the .jpegs are smoothing too much out the EDT effects are subtler but they're being turned to mush in the .jpegs... then again I'm a bit anal with this kind of thing as I edit pictures and video and need the "trained" eye for my classes.

JPG does wash out some detail, but it is almost imperceptible (try fast-switching same image between the formats. Mostly just slight tint difs). Also, posting uncompressed images into the forums causes extremely slow thread load times, so that is shy I converted them.

Yeah I realize. It's just I can see the difference and it bugs me. That's why I posted the archive. I'm going to try finding an alternative way of uploading the images so they can be viewed online.

I've found via trail and error that .PNG remains truest to the in-game coloring and quality. They can be a bit big sometimes; however, using imgur this isn't an issue. Also, I sometimes open the file in Photoshop and resave it using "Save for the Web" option. This compresses the image with little to no loss in color and quality.
