As discussed a few posts back (but sadly almost a year ago) this guide is now quite dated.
I added the missing lines in. I was unable to find any reference to those fixes though.
Now that you mention it, I'm guessing those might be fixed elsewhere, and removed from that mod now.

I was hoping to run through the guide, then just play 
Looks like I need to either use VNV or similar, or update STEP FNV

Currently doing an install as I got a new PC. The Mojave Music Radio - Extended mod has been removed from the nexus. The Sun Guard Headgear Logic Fixes has been hidden as of 6/13/24 by the author due to mod issues, per the Nexus page. If I find any other issues I'll edit this post.

The Clean Vanilla Hud FOMOD instructions are out of date. The options for clean map icons and clean fonts for DarnUI are no longer options. I have checked DarnUI patch in the new patches option. The cursor uni. patch is also now in the Patches section of the FOMOD, which I have also checked. Ill comment here if I end up having UI issues.

Unfortunately, the step patch requires The Sun Guard ESP. I get a warning saying this and my game closes. I don't know if there is a way around this, personally. I'll look to see if I can find Sun Guard somewhere else for now. I have also messaged him on the Nexus to see if he would be willing to unhide it or provide an alternative download.

Going through the guide I encountered the following mod issues/inconsistencies (hidden/removed mods underlined):

 

4. FOUNDATION

Unofficial Patch NVSE Plus - Guide recommends INI edits that don't exist.  Changelog says these have been moved to an alternative mod "Essential DLC Enhancements Merged" in update 1.4.  If compatible, this mod may be worth including.  Old versions are still available.  Given these were optional, probably not a significant issue.

Wasteland Clothing Hires Retexture - Known issue is still an issue.  Forum links are still good, but it's unclear which to download.  3rd link naming consistent with Nexus.

 

6. MODELS & TEXTURES

Endgame Slideshow Widescreen Fix - No ultrawide option.  Maybe not an issue, but I figured I'd mention it in case it is a problem if running at 21:9.

NV Compatibility Skeleton - The guide says to get the "Updated for 360 Movement" option, which is an older version.

Simplified Weapon Retexture Project - This page is now hidden, with mod author linking to "Another Weapon Retexture Project".  Unsure if it's safe to use in this list.

Wasteland Flora and Terrain Overhaul - The guide says to download main file "Wasteland Flora and Terrain Overhaul" which are now old files.

 

7. SOUNDS & MUSIC

All Weapon Sounds Overhaul Modern Edition - AWSOME - Hidden and now links to "All Weapon Sounds Overhaul Modern Edition - AWSOMER".  Unsure if safe to use.

Mojave Music Radio - Extended - Removed by staff.  I did find "Mojave Music Radio eXpanded" which seems to serve the same purpose.

 

9. FIXES

Pip-Boy Shading Fix NVSE - Hidden mod now links to "Viewmodel Shading Fix - NVSE".  Mod info says it contains the same fix, but I don't know about compatibility.

Strip Lights Region Fix - Guide says to install an optional file which is now integrated with the latest version.

 

11. AI & COMBAT

Fallout 4 Survival Mode-Style Damage - Guide says to get NVSE optional file, but only the main file says NVSE.

 

13. IMMERSION

More Rads In The Ass - Guide says to get (Script Runner) main file, which is now in old files.

 

16. INTERFACE

One HUD - oHUD - Guide says the download "One HUD (oHUD) TTW Darnified Patch" optional file, but this is now in old files.

Clean Vanilla Hud - FOMOD instructions are out-of-date and inaccurate for latest installer.

 

18. LIGHTING & WEATHER

Dusty Distance Redone - Instructions out-of-date for new installer.
