Wasn't this being discussed somewhere to be dropped? Another thread somewhere perhaps? I don't find it tho so perhaps not...

I mentioned it while I was updating all the flags on the wiki pages. Z agreed with me that this is neither Core nor Lore, and really it just looks out of place in game.

Found it and copied duplicates above. Any else agree with this? I've never used them so I can't really say.

I've never gotten far enough into the game when I could use Daedric equipment, but judging by the loading screen artwork that use Daedric equipment, it definitely contrasts heavily with the other artwork in the game. Gonna remove from my setup, and I suggest doing to same for STEP.

Maybe Glorious Daedric as replacement for Extended until a release is found. It looks a bit like steel and leather in some places, but it's not wacky like the current mod.

 

There is also Daedric Reborn, but I haven't used it in game, so I can't speak to its quality.

I suppose the real question is if CaBaL intends to address? Also, is the vanilla HD version bad in some way?

Funny thing is, just yesterday, the mod got updated. Yes, really. Looks like he consolidated a few mod files and fixed up the Royal Daedric armor.

 

I don't think it would now fit the STEP mandate, but... wow. That update surprised me.
