My BethINI simple open and quicks close in my face. I tried to reinstall it, deleted the .ini and the problem persists. Overlook the process tree and find nothing that pops in my eyes... I'm cracking up with this at this time!

I've been using this tool forever, for FO4, Oldrim and Newrim. It's great!

I have one suggestion/request, though. It'd be super helpful if the file names listed in the backups that can be loaded were changed to be more easily readable. I know they include a timestamp, but as they are now they're very hard to read. Maybe separate the sections with underscores or something (MM_DD_YYYY_HH_MM_SS). Much easier to read than a long string of numbers!

I'm having a but of a visual issue.

When I set Bethini to High or Ultra there are large missing areas of water north of Skyrim. At High there is a large chunk missing near Winterhold, and on Ultra there is that chunk as well as two others near Dawnstar.

Please advise.

Should be an easy improvement.

Well, looking at your INI files, nothing really stands out as out of the ordinary. I loaded up your settings on my machine and traveled to Dawnstar and Winterhold and didn't notice any missing water, but I guess I don't really know where to look. If you load up BethINI and go to the Setup tab, there is a Restore Backup dropdown. Click the dropdown and select the "Before BethINI" option. That will reset your INI files to how they were before you used BethINI. See if that fixes the issues you're seeing. If they do, please post those INI files so I can compare them and see what is different. Then we can test to find out which setting(s) is/are causing the problem.

If the problem still exists, however, the problem may lie elsewhere. If that's the case, try starting a new game and see if the places are still bugged. If they still are, you may need to investigate any mods you may be using.

I just reinstalled the game before originally posting in this thread so my prior INIs are just vanilla Ultra; and my I'm using new games. It's odd that this only happens above Bethini Normal. I haven't got many mods installed but I'll uninstall them and check if the issue persists.

Thanks for the suggestions I haven't generated any lod (not planning to yet) but will try that if/when I do. The data culling fix fixes and is something I've used in the past but it isn't ideal due to removing data culling from the entire game instead of just in the area I need.
