Following up on u/Chironspiracy's discussion about mod compatibility, I decided to create a survey to gauge how the community feels about mod compatibility. The survey has eight easy-to-answer multiple choice questions. It would be awesome if you would take the time to respond.

I filled it in. A short version of my answer would be that I build compatibility patches of modest size when I need to but I would much prefer to use automated patchers for almost everything and only create patches manually for a few things. When I tested Mator Smash I found it successfully handled a lot more than I expected.

The scariest part about those numbers is the amount of users that don't use, or think they need, compatibility patches.

 

As for surveys, if seen a few Google surveys to say they will probably be more than sufficient for these purposes.
