SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified

I've actually been making a list of mods used in guide that I think I need to update since I installed guide back in early to mid November.

There's also USLEEP and Cutting Room Floor, among the others you mentioned. Pretty sure I'm missing a few more. Haven't checked certain things like WLSO.

Thank you, this list will help a great deal. I'm trying to go through it each item at a time as I also install each mod. I'm also working on a benchmark log report as I go along in hopes of helping to figure out if I experience some of the same CTD's or annoying issues others have reported. This may help to pinpoint the root cause of these issues in order to determine the proper corrective action to be taken.

Do not run LOOT.  Do not create a bashed patch.

The load order for Requiem is very particular and I've also arranged the current set of mods specifically to minimize conflicts while patching the remaining relevant pieces.  Jumbling up the load order would lead to bad juju.

I am going back through all the posts on this topic and just noticed this. It may take me some extra time to review all posts, but after this I feel it is necessary to give me a better understanding of things I should be on the lookout for while reviewing and editing the guide.

Question for JD or Paul.

I added advanced adversary encounters because i dont really find YASH to be very hard. I made my own patch to make it compatible with YASH. Which i uploaded to nexus btw if anyones interested.

Problem is that the NPC fixes esp overwrites a number of the changes and reverts them back to pre patch. Is it safe to either forward the changes directly into the NPC fixer esp OR just simply load the AAE stuff after NPC fixes?

What would you guys suggest?

Hi, would you share your NPC fix  or any other sp you had to do to make AAE work with this guide? Im playing it but with lots of ctd now, its more challenge, but this ctds is getting more frequent. Thank you.

Would this kind of side note within the mod template exceed the template limit? See RaceCompatibility for Skyrim and Dawnguard.

No. That's ok.

Templates are those that make reference to another page of code. Like: {{User:Kesta/ModInstructions(etc.)  or {{Notice Small|text= or {{FOMOD Instructions(etc) these kind of things. Anything that is html code or plain text does not affect the template limit.

yes Requiem does not use a based patch because of the Reqtificator patch. LOOT is not used because it does not sort properly for Requiem based installation and it's better to use the method in the guide. It's quite simple actualy.

OK, after 2 beer i just decide to mess in TES5edit, now my game is stable, 1 hour and some without any crash, i was crashing after 2 to 3 minute after  loading my last save, i manage to make almost all record in NPC fixer, AAE and your pacth in green ones or orange ones, but i cant share them if the author of those sp dont give me permission to do so.

I apologize for not updating the guide today. I'm still scanning the previous posts and am only on page 40 of 169. However, I am getting a better understanding of why certain utilities (LOOT) and certain mods from the original Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition had to be dropped. I am still learning quite a bit from all the posts and taking notes as I read along. As I had previously installed SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn, I became curious why some of my favorite mods from that guide were not being used here. A majority of my questions are being answered as I continue to read through the posts, so I ask that you please be patient for a day or two, until I can catch up on the conversations.

When I have finished reading all of the posts in this topic, I will get back into updating the pages. Don't hesitate to share what you feel needs to be addressed as we work to review what needs to be edited. I am looking forward to installing this Mod Pack myself. I think this is going to be a great deal of fun!

paul666root and jdsmith2816, you guys have done an amazing job here!. I can tell that you have not only put alot of your time and effort into this project, but also your hearts. That says a great deal about what we can expect as we follow along with your creative efforts. I will do my best to help you keep this project alive and strong.

And last, but not least, in the 'Optimizing The Bethesda Textures' section from the prerequisites page, you are asking to install the High Definition Base Game Textures mod, and not to extract the BSAs (But only for the expansions- i guess it also applies to the base game, but you didn't explicitly wrote that). So, why not remove those lines:

We extract all except the optimized texture files.

Select "BSA Extractor" in the left pane.

In the right pane, double click the value to the right of "enabled" and select "true".

I will need to revise this in the main guide. I basically copied what we did from SRLE LotD. I will get on that right now.

Done.

All i did was forward the conflicting records from my patch into the npc fixer patch.

I played for a good 10 hours with no ctds. Cleared fellglow keep, and a few other mage infested forts and caves.

AAE to be fully compatible and integrated tho needs further patching. Cloaks and npc retextures conflict with it. My patch only covers YASH

I also installed some of sir jestos patches. Check darths guide for reference. Did my own custom merge for that.

Once the requiem guide is finished being updated i am dumping YASH. Requiem is better in every single way.

I did same as you, but also made some change on your patch and AAE to make them compatible with the guide, at least those record are most green now, and i did it prioritizing difficulty and some time common sense.

So I have about 40 more pages to catch up. So far this is the list I have made for myself to keep an eye out for when reviewing the guide and performing edits. I will catch up on the rest of this topic tomorrow. Please feel free to add anything I may have missed or elaborate on what you think should be more clearly defined:

"Immersive Horses

There's also USLEEP and Cutting Room Floor, among the others you mentioned. Pretty sure I'm missing a few more. Haven't checked certain things like WLSO.

In order to fix that issue the patches and load order would need to be redone. Immersive horses is completely broken as is in the requiem guide and for that reason i stopped using it and switched to YASH

Immersive horses patch (the traders patch) to function correctly needs to be below both minor arcana and wildcat if you use it....which doesnt work with this guide like i said due to how the patches and load order are setup.

One possible solution might be to remove the immersive horses patch from requiem patches merged....rebuild the merge WITHOUT that patch and then load the patch by itself below everything i mentioned.

Over sight apparently during development of guide."

The Drunken Huntsman Bug

  • Elrindir may attack you upon entering The Drunken Huntsman for no apparent reason. Drawing and sheathing your weapon will not stop him from attacking, and if he chases you outside, other NPCs, including Whiterun guards, may attack you as well.
    • Reload an earlier save, and prior to entering the Drunken Huntsman, commit a minor crime in front of a Whiterun guard which causes you to gain a bounty, then clear that bounty. This may also work if you have already triggered his hostility, but have not been attacked by the guards.
    • Open the console, click on Elrindir or enter the command prid 1a681, then use the command setav aggression 0. Note that this may only work before he actually turns hostile.

Thank You -Diana

Immersive Horses

There's actually a CACO patch now that's pretty complete; we can consider using it.  As far as IH... AOS being after Race Adjustments is actually what's causing the problem...  Let's not worry about IH other than having it on a list as a thing I need to make sure works before we're done.
