Closest-to-Vanilla Weather Mods?
Fantomax replied to Fantomax's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I'll re-try VW. I dislike the idea that VW touches interior. IDK, I have light flickering issues when I use VW with SRLE lighting setup. Maybe I done it wrong? -
That's a shadow issue (cmiiw). Did you follow shadow tweaking guide carefully?

Closest-to-Vanilla Weather Mods?
Fantomax replied to Fantomax's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yeah, VW is the most saturated weather mod. And it does have interior lighting issues on my SR:LE lighting setup (imo, I think I've done it correctly) Going to test Purity atm. Haven't tried NLVA. Yes, you're right. But, right now I simply don't have time to tweak 'em and my ENB basics is bad -
Closest-to-Vanilla Weather Mods?
Fantomax replied to Fantomax's question in General Skyrim LE Support
@Tech : I've seen that, but from what I read on the description, it only tweaks fog-snow-storm weather (which is pretty much everywhere in Nexus). Thanks anyway. @hishutup : Thanks, I've tried 'em all in the past. Right now, I'm sticking out with VW as it is the closest YET. I used to be a huge fan ELE-Weather (discontinued?) and RCRN. But RCRN is way too complex for me (imo) with the incompactibillities. The close-to-vanilla criteria is caused by the current ENB I'm using (Kountervibe Northern and True Vision, can't wait for SOS Remastered though). I'll try NLVA later. Anyway, have you tried ELFX Weather? (idk, it's glitchy in my rig dunno why) I really wonder if STEP could have a weather mod in the future... Might be a good idea if it just ELE-Weather like mods. (edit : Well crap, This means regenerate DynDOLOD) -
Yeah, I know it sounds stupid... But, I'm just curious. I've played Skyrim for about 2 Years. What I hate the most from vanilla is simply the weather, vanilla weather are HORRIBLE imo. I've tried to search the net for weather mods but, none of them close to vanilla (since my favorite ENB is vanilla-weather). Is there any weather mod that tweaks the vanilla weather just a bit and with easy installation (not 99999 patch and incompactibility)? Sorry if this question has been asked already in the past.

Um.. 2K for clothing? Is it a bit 'overkill'? I once used INPCC with full 1K textures and I don't encounter any stretching issues.

Well, that's great then! My friends still use 32-bit too. I remember old version still runs on 32-bit though... Big Kudos to you!

Light Flickering Issues (ELFX + ELE)
Fantomax replied to Fantomax's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Erm.. Not exactly they turn off and on... The lights just weirdly 'changed' when I shift the mouse a bit (Ex : somewhat brighter, etc). I just don't know how to describe it -
Hello! For a couple of weeks, I've tried to compare lighting mods (ELFX vs RS). The problem is, I've been experiencing light flickering issues in some places (ex: Helgen Cave, Dragonsreach, haven't fully tested it since I'm hitting some performance problems with my setup) (Lighting changes when you tilt the mouse a bit) (Happens with BOTH, but ELFX+ELE is just... really bad with those issues) I'm using ELE (but, not STEP specific version) + Vivid Weather. What kind of ELE plugin should I use if I'm going with ELFX? Any clues why this issue occurs and how to fix it? Thanks anyway

SKYRIMLE Superior Silverware (by skyrimaguas)
Fantomax replied to Fantomax's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Blue-ish tint? Show me a Screenshot please.. -
Good to see you back in ENB business! Well, I would like to see this ENB compared with (upcoming) new SOS and True Vision...

Win7 32-bit, but I still have XP disc . Well, I didn't see the benefit of upgrading my system to 64 since my rig is only 4 Gig's of RAM. Anyway, I'm quite disappointed with Bethesda, Skyrim Remastered is just new engine, shader with small (at least for me) improvement. I really like TES6 idea though.

High Poly Project by LucidAPs As the title says, it enhances meshes in Skyrim by adding more polys (very high compared to vanilla) to various meshes, making them 'smoother' (well, this is what the author claims) Yes, I know there's SMIM already, but (I think, haven't examined this carefully) this mod covers what SMIM doesn't (If not, why create it then?) Also, it is compactible.

I'll pick Gamwich's. Pfuscher's one is too dry for a horker

SKYRIMLE Organic ENB optimized for ELFX and COT compatible
Fantomax replied to krossbonzz's topic in Post Processing
^ Yup, this one is underrated mod I think. The author also promises VW support in future updates -
Link Just see the title... Technically, this mod is closer to vanilla (I think?) Edit: Fixed the link. - Nebulous112

This mod get my 'yes' -
EdgeAA is probably the most cheap AA solution we have. Just treat it like FXAA, although it is not comparable to the real FXAA.
-
Great, now issue solved. Thanks for confirming.

Weirldy, I cannot edit the post. Maybe just my slow net. https://i.imgsafe.org/46e2603469.png

Jeez, I only downloaded the main file, thanks for confirming.

Gamwich's? I never seen it. Could you provide a link for that? Maybe, we can include it for the comparison.
