  1. Biped slot conflicts only matter when equipping two items in the same slot. If the slots conflict in the ARMO (Armor) record: The second item equipped will unequip the first and vice versa the other way around. If the slots conflict in the ARMA (Armor Addon) record: It is purely a visual conflict (i.e. one item will be invisible but still equipped). Generally, the ARMO/ARMA will use matching slots but not always. Dual Sheath Redux NPC Back Shields is a good example of a time when the ARMO/ARMA records disagree purposefully. Slot usage can be found in each armor / armor addon record using either CK or TES5Edit.
  2. Based on that explanation I would agree.
  3. Personally I wouldn't trust anything touched by 1.2.5/1.2.7/1.2.8 but you might be OK. Real hard to say without knowing what scripts may have updated, etc during your play session.
  4. I don't believe MO currently supports DAO. I think NMM does though. Back when I was playing it we used DAO Mod Manager but that was long ago. Been looking to get back to it myself eventually. That being said I would love MO support in the future. It is quite similar in format to Beth games (dazip ~ bsa, has overwrite folder for loose files).
  5. I am, Nexus finally allowed me to get it. No major change just some cleanup and the merge worked fine with the new file. Tried to get nexus to let me download but it was stubborn... Will try again tonight. No harm in it being ordered wrong despite the glowing red icon/text in Wrye... Easily fixed though as you stated. As long as you use the right click sort masters should be fine. Don't sort masters manually.
  6. Fixed, sorry guys! At least it was right in the downloadable patch. :D Documentation fail. This. From what I've read 1.2.6 is the safest for now as we at least know 100% what the problem is and have mitigated it.
  7. Not at home will need to look.
  8. We all know how that's working out... Lol
  9. I don't foresee a problem with the option selected, I just prefer my NPCs be allowed to die when they aren't needed anymore. That being said, had an odd experience with the 2.0 version of NPC Knockout (was able to loot a bandit twice) so I left a note on the authors mod page to get his take. Basically was able to loot while unconscious, kill and loot same stuff again.
  10. Fixed the addition of the BUM rule. Sorry must have not saved. As for (Protected), it basically makes all unique NPCs protected even if they have outlived their usefulness (i.e. quest complete or don't have a quest). This does not affect protected/essential status in the normal sense it just makes it so more people can only be killed by you.
  11. Nexus really bad today, haven't been able to download a single file. Always "An Error Has Occurred".
  12. The suggestion to renumber or not to renumber is in the guide, follow that and it shouldn't be an issue. :) Will investigate and adjust as needed, thanks for the report. Edit: Updated. Its only a small skylight but its there none the less. :D That is sad to hear Danimal, to be fair the problem isn't all the bad with MO 1.2.6 and is worked around for the most part. I don't expect it will take long to get to 1.2.7.
  13. My understanding was Archive Invalidation no longer required for Skyrim, then this conversation popped up in the last few days. Be curious to hear what Tannin has to say. Edit: .dds is a texture, not a mesh.
  14. SkyProc could edit those also I believe. Would need to check the API.
  15. Daniel, you've probably answered before but ever thought of doing spell tomes? With all these nice books around they stand out as dull IMO. :) I realize there are some mods out there already but not nearly the quality.
  16. 4.99 sale ended this morning.
  17. I went ahead and got Arkham Asylum but left Origins to the next sale. Reviews are pretty horrible about bugs.
  18. Looks like run for your lives esp may be corrupted somehow. Try reinstalling. Edit: NM this is an MO output... but worth a shot.
  19. Steam workshop is the worst way possible to mod... It really needs work.
  20. Specifically regarding the textures: no issue. It was simply going to be visual glitches. Textures do not have a savegame impact.
  21. If you leave only UHRP extracted you can keep HRDLC optimized. The really important stuff is the stuff interleaved with the other "real" dlcs.
  22. He will need to untick his vanilla/dawnguard/hearthfires/dragonborn texture optimizations no? Since they are likely loose files. At least until MO 1.2.7 makes the 100% fix.
  23. Leave them unticked until its fixed.
  24. I already posted this in the guide but I'm going to post it here also just to make sure everyone gets it. Warning: Due to a bug in Mod Organizer 1.2.6 temporarily do the following: 1) Uncheck ALL of the optimized vanilla texture mods. 2) Reinstall the unofficial patches with the BSA extractor disabled to leave the BSA intact. Verify they are checked in the BSA tab. DO NOT REMAIN AT MO 1.2.5 AS IT IS MORE SERIOUSLY BUGGED These problems should be resolved in MO 1.2.7 then we can go back to business as usual.
