It's a problem with all Post Processors, the effects don't turn off when you enter the menu screens because bethesda didn't give the developers anything to hook. Just use the hotkey. Its particularly annoying with dof because  in a menu there is no z order so everything is equally blurred. -
perfect mod for inclusion when all the bugs are worked out, I hate the immersion break of waiting and fast travel.

The .esm is dependent on a number of resources that are inside of a .bsa that you have. Â The red just means that a file that is required by the mod cannot be found, since bash can't see inside of .bsa files it doesn't know the files are actually there, you can ignore this error and proceed about your business.

The companions are actually a guild, what you are referring to is a follower. Your mileage will vary as far as interaction some have almost none and others a fairly long story and questline (mostly later in the game).

Companions Arise Ever thought the companions questline was too short, and that their skills and behavior made little to no sense?  This mod is for you. Likely this mod will massively conflict with the mod I previously posted that does much of the same stuff.

Generally I think Skyrim combat is pretty good, specifically I think that complete lack of a dodge mechanic or effective block mechanic is pretty sad. If those mechanics were fixed and a good AI was written to implement them in NPC's, combat would be vastly improved. -

CK is not very efficient at digging but it's all we have at the moment. Think about shopping at a super walmart with several million products on the shelves and you have to go down every aisle and look at every single one before you know if its what you want or not. Then there are the resources that that content is based on, those are just files in an archive. Â But you'll need to unarchive them and find a way to open each one and view/edit it properly and I haven't done much legwork on that end of the problem. -
 Wow, Nexus is actually working awesome today. Maybe they finally completed their system/code upgrades.

I think Chesko is saying that Script Dragon overwrites a few bits of what skse overwrites in the skyrim engine, I haven't seen any real verification of this yet by the skse guys.

That thread probably just touches the tip of the iceberg on all the unused content, it appears Beth left every resource created in the game, they just disabled it so it could be resurrected by them or modders later. -

Its because the CK was completely broken for building quests up until version 1.5 :P -

Most likely added lots of extra stuff but no occlusion planes to prevent it from all loading even when you can't see it. Send her to Arthmoor for schooling. I don't think I have seen a single mod that edits architecture or world objects that is optimized correctly except for Open Cities.

Steam removes skyrim data from the registry arbitrarily. Valve seems to assume that you will be launching skyrim from steam (which will regenerate these keys as necessary) so no worries right? If however, you are launching tesv.exe from somewhere other than the launcher your skyrim registry entries will never be regenerated and are almost certainly gone. This causes problems for any program that needs to know if skyrim is installed, what version, where, etc...

I like the idea that you have to complete most of the factions radiant quests before you can begin the final stages of the main faction questline. Â This means a modder can just add a few extra radiant quests and make the main questline dependent on them and a majority of the vanilla radiant stuff as well and suddenly you have a much more fleshed out experience. -

Yep that will do it. interface, strings, and video are the only folders from vanilla so you understand perfectly. I'll eventually add another section for the really anal people that says to uncompress all your bsa files and zip them up as well, but thats for another day. -
As long as you have decals set to last in your ini.
